Cam shifted a little so she was lying on her back, the grass plush underneath her and releasing it's fresh scent as she moved. "Hmmm. You know I think Tokala is secretly seeing someone," she confided to her mate. "I've seen him, once or twice, in the forest heading in a specific direction. I've never followed him, he'd notice me in a flash, but-."
Cam couldn't put her paw on it why it seemed like Tokala was going off to meet someone instead of simply hunting. That's just how it seemed to her. She glanced out of the corners of her eyes to look at Keith. "That's how a lot of us seem to find mates. You were a wanderer yourself before I pulled you into the tribe."

"Really?" Keith moved so that he was lying on his stomach as he looked at her. "How do you know he's seeing someone?" He had no idea the male was seeing a girl. If he was... he never really mentioned it at all. "Huh... imagen that..." He smiled. "Well I hope it works out for him. That sly fox... saying hes going off hunting and then meeting a girl." He chuckled. "Sounds a lot like us." He nodded.

Cam laughed. "Though my lie was that I was going for a walk," she said, winking and reaching up to lightly tap her mate with a paw.
For a moment there was silence, broken only by the sound of birdsong and the wind moving through the treetops. Then, "I hope he's successful as well," Cam said. "Poor boy, I think he's the most senior bachelor of the whole group of us."
She hummed lightly under her breath, enjoying the peace of the moment. It felt nice, to be able to gossip about trivial little things with her mate.

"Yeah me too..." He smiled up at the clouds. "I hoep that maybe one day we will all get to meet her." he chuckled. "Mystery female..." The more he thought about it the more he found himself wondering just who this female was. Did she know that he was in a tribe? If so would she join it? He then looked back over at her and chuckled. "I think he just may be..."

"Dunno. I made sure to tell you straight off, so you would know you were on tribe land and cause it felt like deceit to hold that piece of information back," Cam said, stretching her entire body out lazily. "Tokala's a good lad, I can't imagine why he woundn't tell whoever it is he's meeting that he's in a tribe. It's probably the reason we haven't met yet."
It made sense to Cam in an odd way. Some lone travelers were wary of tribes and things to do with them, after all. Maybe Tokala was waiting for the right moment to attempt to introduce her. Really, when Cam stopped to think, Tokala was the only bachelor in the whole tribe. Poor boy, he must be trying so hard.

Keith chuckled. That was true. She did tell him... He was sure it was some time during their first conversation. In fact... He was sure that was how they started talking. "Thats true... you sure did." He smiled. "I was glad you told me. I had no idea I was on Tribe ground. I didn't see any markings of any kind around that told me there was a tribe in the area." Then again wen he joined he learned that the tribe didn't mark where they were. They were kind of a secret known only to the members and closest friends out side of the tribe.

Cam hummed lightly under her breath. "That aside, I think it would be nice if this person he'd seeing decided to join. Those littles that Kina and Freyr had were the last we'd seen in awhile. I think, after them, you were the newest." She turned her head so that she could look up at Keith, and smiled. "We seem to obtain new folks under the most joyous of occasions."

"Me too." He smiled over at her. "Now that i think about it... I think our tribe is a little small..." He frowned. "It would be nice to see some new faces." He looked over at her. "I think your right... and we haven't seen Kinas kids in a wile... I wonder how they are doing..." He looked away. "Yeah that sounds true. We do seem to get members on joyous occasions."

Cam hummed lightly under her breath, trying to bring forward her considerable recall. "Last I heard, Aeolos and Aloli had found mates. I assume they're making their lives with them." She sighed. "Eshkol is probably still wandering about, and I assume it's the same for Sindre." She frowned, troubled. "It's their lives to live as they chose, but it must be so sad to watch all your children leave."

Keith looked over at her and nodded. "I heard that... I hope they all have good lives." He smiled. "They deserve it." He rolled over on his side. "Yeah..." He sighed. "It must be hard to watch all your kids grow up then leave you..." He frowned then looked at her. "It might be the same way with us when we have kids..." He blushed when he said it.

Cam's eyes were a bit sad. "Yes, I've thought of that," she said, looking back up towards the sky. "It's their right of course, to look for happiness. If they cannot find it in the tribe, how could I begrudge my own children for leaving to search for it someplace else?" Cam hoped though, deep down in her heart, that even if most of her children left at least one would stay...
- TIME SKIP -
Like all good things, time seemed to speed along. Keith and Cam chatted along the same vein for some time while the sun began to sink lower. The couple finally noticed and decided to walk for home, though they took it at a leisurely pace and continued talking.
"But, do you think...," Cam asked, looking quizically at Keith.

"Do I thiiiinkkkk... what?" He smiled down at her as they walked. He was a bit sad to leave the place they were just in. It was really beautiful and he enjoyed the time he got to spend with her. He was hoping that they could get just a little more time together but sadly he didn't have the power to stop the sun from going down.

Cam bumped her shoulder against Keith in her way that was an equivalent to rolling her eyes. "You know! Farah. She's been a bit more tired lately, and, well-," Cam blushed a little, not used to speaking ill of others even if her theory was correct. "She's been looking a bit...fatter, lately. And she and Altair have been trying for kids just as long as Freyr and Kina have. You think they might have finally....?"

Keith couldn't help but chuckle. "Oh that." He smiled down at her. "Well... I would have to say yes..." He thought about it. "Just look at Altair... he never wants to leave her side and Farah stays inside most of the time now..." He looked at her. "I think they will end up telling us eventually... maybe they aren't ready for everyone to know yet..." He chuckled. "But Im sure with out a doubt that they will be having some kits soon."

Cam chuckled and shook her head. "Silly to think they could hide something like that! We're quite close and too aware of patterns for them to change things up and hope we wouldn't wonder." She smiled softly. "Though I can understand why they'd want to do that. If I learned I was pregnant I'd want you to be the very first to know, and for us to have some time together to adjust before being swamped with congratulations."
Cam's voice trailed off in a wistful way. She couldn't help but envy Farah, already a mother and about to become one again.
She leaned into Keith, walking as close to him as possible without tripping either of them up, and watching the scenery pass as the castle ruins that was their home drew nearer and nearer. "We'll get our chance though." She turned her head up to look at Keith and smile. "Tenacious as we both are, we'll certainly get our own chance someday."
