Axil-Mortan He stood and looked at her. He smiled and placed his hand on the hilt of Nigi-la his weapon. There is no substance my blade can’t cut through, so boulders should be no problem!” This was the first time he showed any emotion on his face. He was happy to boast about his weapon. His skills were his pride and his weapon was the biggest point of that pride. A gift from his mother and a powerful weapon. He then took his hand of the hilt. ” But if the boulders need to stay in one piece I can move them, can use my weapon as a pivot point!” he said in a low but kind voice.

✹Veyahn✹Bakar✹ spaceThe earlier blizzard caused Ahn to confuse some of her directions. As a result, they ended up going to a different spot on her map than the one by the waterfall she had intended. There didn't appear to be anything other than more snow in the area Ahn stopped, but when she started kicking some snow away, an area collapsed, revealing a large hole in the ground that appeared to lead to a cave or cavern. Ahn leaned over to look into it. "That would have been bad to step on."Call me✹Ahn✹

" And so with his last breath, he destroyed the world with a single ember; the world he sacrificed everything to protect with all of his own power until the day he died. " For many moons now, the silent Sorji lived in the blanket of soft white with her aunt, who had fallen ill just a few months past. The elderly woman's' stubbornness and constant desire to go outside had caused her sickness to worsen in just a few days, especially with the blizzards going around recently. At the sound of retched coughing, the Sorji and her familiar abruptly turned their heads in the direction of the old womans room. Her face showed expressions of helplessness and distress at the predicament. Slowly, she turned her head back into the fire which sat safely in the depths of the hearth that was dug out in the center of the room. The hearth was rather wide, and took up most of the space in the center of the room to allow a large amount of heat flow through the two other rooms of the shelter with ease. The flames danced their brilliant colour against her porcelain skin as she watched their rhythmic movements.
Maahes stayed put in his position while his summoner and companion kept the fire large, still staring in the direction of the crone's quarters. He shared the younger Sorji's feelings towards the old woman. As the sound of boiling water reached his ears, they flickered a little before he stood on his fours and slowly walked to old woman's room. He sat by the bed and nudged the woman's arm gingerly just as the younger brought in a tray that smelled of mint and other spices. As it was set on the table beside them all, he took notice of the tea and soup that lied in their rightful containers.
"Thank you, Aelynthi. But I am too tired to eat." As the woman spoke these words, the Sorji's epxression twisted with worry. "But aunt, you must drink at least. The herbs and mint will cease your coughing. " Her voice drifted across the room like the gently twinkling of wind-chimes, but her pitch was higher than usual both out of frustration and unyielding worry for her family member. "Child, I will not have this argument with you. Leave me to rest. I did not call you here to care for me, you did this of yourself. I am not so old that I cannot take care of myself. Take you and your familiar and cool your heads off outside and leave me to myself!"
The Sorji was surprised by the older woman's sudden outburst, and out of shock could only bow deeply to her and leave. Maahes trailed slowly behind, wondering just how much the crone meant of her words. But he had to comfort his companion as she started to dress for the blizzard outside. "I would not take her words to heart, Aelynthi." His mouth did not move as these words entered Aelynthi's mind. It didn't seem to make her any better though as he watched her put coal on the fire to keep it burning while they were out, since who knew when the crone was going to get up.
Leading the way out the front door, Maahes continued, since he received no response from her as of yet. "You have a natural desire to help those in need, but you aunt was never a dependent person. Perhaps all the care she has been receiving makes her feel indebted to us. And as past events show, she doesn't like that either. Come now. We leave for the Springs. You need to relax." A trip to the Springs was the only thing Maahes could think of to brighten his master's spirit. She was not like her normal self when something like this happened, and he supposed it was due to the person they were dealing with. But at the mention of the Springs, he could see his master halt and stare, surprised. After a moment, her expression brightened, a gentle smile shared with her beloved creature.
"Lead the way, Maahes." she said softly as she mounted her companion. After all, he was the only one who could make anything out in the blizzards.
