Shun wouldn't advise trying to jump down. It was quite a long drop and yes. Branches. "I doubt they'll be throwing us off the edges. Not unless we manage to piss them off," Shun shrugged before looking down at the large snake. He had seen her before. She had even winked at him once. "Exactly how large do you think you'll become?"She was already pretty damn big. Likely rather heavy for her Reaper to carry around too.

By the time the punk boil was done, Mitzi was standing there with her eyes screwed shut, arms lightly wrapped around herself, trying very hard not to give in to the panic. She didn't even have the wherewithal to tell him to stop, she was too busy trying to focus on anything else. It wasn't working too well. She had been there, actually. She remembered there were students who had gone up to fight the thing. Watching them hadn't bothered her at all, but hearing about it? "Okay, okay," Roch said quickly, wrapping an arm around her shoulder and pulling her into a hug. "I ain't got my guitar, so you'll have to deal with my singing, okay?" he said, launching into a song he knew all too well, and thought about with a hint of amusement, his raspy voice carrying gently. The ghoul leaned into his hug, and as he sang her breathing steadied and she finally opened her eyes. By the time he was done she was still tense, but no longer having to fight down the panic. "Can we just... talk about something else? I'll be fine as long as I don't think about it too much..." Her voice shook a little, but was steadying by the end. She could do this. Well, as long as people didn't pull that sort of thing on her too often.

"Oh, I don't know, darlingsss!" She looked thoughtful as she tilted her head, pausing to really think about it, "It issss a myssstery, even to myssself! It issss all very exciting, although I am certainly not looking forward to molting." She hissed and shuddered at the thought; a snake her size takes forever just to molt!

Shehk stared back at Riley for a long time, her expression reading the smallest hint of resistance as she finally moved to scoot closer to the mindflayer, the frown still obvious on her face.
She was completely busted. Still, she moved to the beckoning anyways, ears drooping.

"I may look petite, but I'm actually very dense. I hope you are strong." If not, his winged savior wasn't going to be much help, but anything was better than falling on your own.
To make matters worse, several students were discussing how long it would take youto hit the ground, taking into account distance and branches. It was not a topic he wanted to hear and so he uses the wing as a shield to buffer the noise.
That's when he noticed how soft it was and was soon distracted with petting it.

Dramatic pause for effect? Slooooow turning of the head, eyebrows rising. No calls for Shehk's head; that was good. Somehow she hoped deep down this wouldn't end badly, but it was going to come out sooner or later right? Right?
She stood beside Riley, phone still in hand but she quickly put it away. Best to let one of them break the news to Jericho about this. She had done her part already.
She should probably plan an escape now... someone was talking about jumping, she was sure if things got ugly that would be the quickest way out of the situation. Can't hurt that much to fall from a tree this big....

Riley wasted no time in wrapping her arms around Shehk, pulling her into a slow, sensual embrace, and holding the ghoul against her. She brushed her hands down Shehk's hair, and bent back to give the ghoul a very gentle looking stare.
Now. Then. Two things I wish to discuss with you, my little pricolici. First, I believe you have not said hello to me today. For this, I am heartily disappointed.
She let that sink in, continuing to brush her hair, while she rested her chin on top of Shehk's head and winked at Sammy. Second, I have heard an interesting rumor. Will you clarify for me, the nature of your feelings for Jericho? Something about crushing? Is this a physical need to crush him out of anger, or is there something more interesting that I am sorely lacking in information of? She sounded almost pouty. Surely, if you had developed feelings for a boil, you would have told me about it, wouldn't you?

Shehk leaned into the hug, pondering if there was going to be a knife pulled out on her at any point in time during said embrace. Would the War clan approve of such wanton violence? Possibly. Still the Pricolici did have to admit that hugs from Riley were very nice.
"Mmmm, that is a crime. I'm sorry, Riley. What can I do to make it up to you?" she asked, tail wagging just a bit as she knew better than to suddenly say 'hello' when the fact she hadn't had just been pointed out to her.
However, the second order of business made the pricolici go slightly rigid, a frown on her face. If she'd been able to pocket text right then, Sammy would have gotten a text of I HATE YOU SO MUCH RIGHT NOW WHYYYYY. But fortunately that wasn't an applicable outlet to the sudden spotlight put on her.
"Ah, well...I wouldn't call it..ummmm....." words. She needed words!! Her (non existant) kingdom for the words for this situation!! AHHHHHHHHHH!! "It..isn'taphysicalneedtocrushhim,no...." Shehk mumbled, half into Riley's shoulder. "It's more like..I...I...um..."

"I was going to talk to you about it......."

I will think of something. Riley's smooth, seductive answer was bordering on sinister. After all, that was dangerously close to a contract. But as she watched Shehk stutter and shake in awkward dismay, the answer to her second question was pretty clear. So when Shehk finally fell silent, Riley's cuddly embrace squeezed gently.
So. Talk.
She was ready to hear what was really going on, and she wouldn't take awkwardness for an answer.

Herryk was too busy eavesdropping on Riley's conversation with Shehk to realize that Calder was actually talking. He couldn't help rolling his eyes and groaning when he caught wind of Roch singing, but he kept his mouth shut. For now.

This wasn't as bad as she originally thought it would be. She thought it would be more...brutal. But it seemed more calm then anything. Everyone seemed at ease, and Whisper knew it was the calm before the storm. Hopefully it would be a storm she could weather.
She spotted Shehk, who seemed to be hugging Riley. Or the other way around...but either way they were together. She hadn't seen Shehk in...well...a while. And it really hadn't been the best circumstances. And hell, she doubted Riley even remembered her. But she wasn't going to let that stop her from saying hello. Especially because she wasn't going to be rude and only talk to Shehk.
"Hey Shehk! It's really great to see you!" She gave the ghouls a large smile. "And hello Riley, I hope everything has been well with you. Belated congratulations with the election."

As long as [contract] didn't equal [owo contract], Shehk might have been OK with that. Maybe if only because it was Riley. Maybe.
Still, it seemed she wasn't getting a chance to wiggle out of the situation that Sammy had stirred up for her. Even if there was a lingering silence at first for an answer. What did she say?
What was the right answer?????
"Would you be mad at me if I did? I mean.....have a thing...for Jericho....since he's your best friend and all and I don't want to cross any lines...." And she could just making the like-stuff stop happening, right?
She wished.

Mad at you? Riley was so surprised at the question that she all but let Shehk go, looking down at her with an expression that could have been a frown. What line could you have crossed by having feelings for Jericho? Do you think I hated Lizzy, when she felt that way? I don't.. why would I hate anyone for something like that?
Was she a little insulted? It sure sounded like it. Here she'd been teasing the ghoul, but now she severely questioned how her friends thought of her - or, perhaps, how they thought of her and Jericho.
And then, after a moment, she sort of understood.
Well. Just so you know, you may have as many things for Jericho as you desire.. it doesn't upset me. It was about time you started looking at boils again, anyway. They were certainly looking at you.
Whisper interrupted their conversation, and suddenly Riley felt glad for it. She gave the ghoul a gentle expression, her eyes crescenting upwards pleasantly. Whisper. Your lovely face is always a pleasure to see. And thank you, that's very kind of you to say. I'm glad to see you're doing well.
