Okay so maybe there was a small bit of regret at having pulled away from that kiss. A kiss that had finally, finally been what the blonde was waiting for. Had known Xander was capable of. Yet, he was going to make sure the man really had dropped all those boundaries.
Plus, he was just a d**k like that at times.
And it was Xander. Of course he couldn't make it easy for him!
Remiel laughed again, having moved about the house until stopping in the living room. He ran his hands along the furniture there, eyes roaming around the room. The couch kept drawing his eye and that was where he moved to sit. And might have made a funny noise when it tried to 'swallow' him. It was comfy and squishy and perfect for an ambush.
"So cruel! Calling me names." His voice drifted along, the blonde himself having rolled off the couch to crouch in front of it. He'd moved silently around the room, eyes focused on one thing. The figure moving towards this room.
Silent and still, Remiel waited until just the right moment. And then he sprang. Sort of. More like swiftly climbed on the couch, popped up when Xander was within reach, and grabbed him. Pulling him down in a tangle of limbs (and probably a few low oaths) until Remiel managed to pin the man beneath him. He stared down at Xander, wicked grin on his face and eyes bright.
"You're mine now~" A light brush of lips against the corner of his mouth. Followed by a pause. "Or am I yours now?" Remiel inquired, placing another teasing kiss on the other side.
"PS- I totally win this round." He murmured, before letting his mouth fall to Xander's in a slow kiss. One that was much like the gentle kiss from before. Except this time he didn't disappear and let the kiss fall into something harsh and demanding. A response to the fierceness of what he felt before.
One arm encircled Xander's waist, pulling him closer. The other traveled up along his side, until he found his hair. Remiel stroked those soft strands until his fingers lightly curled within them. All the while he never pulled away.

He didn't like the idea of having to look for Remiel, mostly because it gave the blonde the upper hand and Xander, among other things, did not like feeling as though he did not have all of the information. He stepped cautiously into the darkened living room, his mismatched eyes alert and fierce as he scanned through the shadows, looking for something, anything that would show him where the witch eater was hiding.
"I only call you names when you deserve th - "
The sentence stopped abruptly as there was a noise somewhere behind him. Arms encircled his waist and quite suddenly Xander found himself thrown to the floor, his legs tangled with Remiel's, all of the breath completely knocked out of him. He wrestled with him for a few moments, trying to get free, but it was useless - Remiel had him pinned in seconds, his wrists flat against the carpet.
"I'm...not...yours," Xander murmured, heat spreading through him at just the light kisses, straining to free his wrists from the blonde's hold. But Remiel had that catlike smirk on his face just before he kissed him again, this time slow and searching, and Xander closed his eyes, tilting his head upwards, relaxing into it.
But "relaxing" soon became "demanding," and as soon as Xander had his hands free, he lifted them, grabbing the sides of Remiel's face and clenching his fingers in the blonde's hair. One of Remiel's arms was around him, holding him close, but Xander's hands slipped down to his hips, pulling him even closer and deliberately shifting beneath him.
His fingers played with the hemline of Remiel's shirt, as though debating. One hand slipped beneath the fabric, his fingers skimming along the muscled stomach, splaying flat over the warm skin, and with a shove, Xander pushed him back, rolling them over so that he was on top again, breaking their passionate kiss with a gasp.
He lay there for a moment, draped across Remiel, their legs twisted together, his hand still on the blonde's stomach. Then slowly Xander moved, pulling his legs free and sliding one over Remiel until he was straddling his waist. He reached down, grabbing Remiel's shirt collar and pulled him up so that they were both sitting now, Xander in Remiel's lap again - but facing him. One of his legs curled around them man's lower back, holding them together.
His fingers drifted over Remiel's collarbone. He gave the man a hard, searching look.
"We're neither of each other's," he said deliberately, and then leaned in for another kiss.

"Does that mean I should call you names when you deserve them?" He murmured lazily in between his light teasing kisses. Not that Remiel really gave him much chance to answer that. Or respond with words period. His mouth was busy at the moment, thus making words impossible.
There was a satisfied purr like sound that rumbled from his throat as Xander relaxed into the kiss. Remiel let his eyes drift to barely open slits. He didn't want to close his eyes all the way, instead watching the other man's face. At least until the sweet became much more spicy. His eyes closed completely when hands grabbed at the sides of his face, tangling in his hair. The blonde slid his own hand to the back of Xander's neck to pull his face almost painfully close and crush his lips against the other. The 'purr' turned into a 'groan' that he breathed into the kiss as Xander shifted while simeltaneously pulling him closer.
Warm tingles and shivers scampered down his spine when a slightly cooler hand against his stomach. A small sound of protest - a very small sound - escaped when they rolled. He was not quite ready to break their searing kiss, but Remiel didn't fight him when Xander broke it. The witch eater laid there, eyes shut and sucking in cool night air.
He cracked an eye open at Xander's movements, watching the man curiously while his hands had somehow 'magically' wound up not only at Xander's waist, but fingers partially curled beneath the waistband of his pants. One eyebrow slowly quirked up as Remiel gazed up at Xander before he was pulled up into a sitting position. With Xander in his lap. Again! And why no, he was not keeping track or anything.
Shivers followed those fingers, Remiel's hooded gaze meeting the hard searching one directed at him. His lips twitched before lips were moving against his own. A hand slid slowly up along Xander's stomach, over his chest, along his neck until cupping the man's face. Pulling back (probably annoyingly again), Remiel gave Xander a sly look, like a kid with a secret.
"One night. No strings attached~" He whispered, before slanting his head and giving Xander a small taste of what he promised with those words in a kiss far more demanding yet oddly gentle in its own way.

Kissing Remiel was a reminder of everything that he had once known, everything he had once had and had lost all those many years ago. It was not so much the man himself - considering that Xander's last "lover" (the term seemed odd, somehow) had been a woman, but just the warmth, the idea of sharing one's self with another. The idea of companionship.
"You can't go your entire life without living for something, Xander."
The words in his head - spoken from long ago - twinged and flickered, a flinch flashing briefly across his face. But he pushed them aside, just as he had so long ago as well, and let himself sink into the present.
This was not the past, after all.
He could feel Remiel's fingers - warm and rough - against the skin of his waist, sliding lower and lower on his hips, just beneath the waistband of his pants. Xander let out a low growl, slightly feral, which was swallowed entirely by Remiel's kiss, hard and gentle simultaneously. His arms moved again, wrapping them around the blonde's neck, and his other leg shifted until he was entwined completely around Remiel.
Who pulled away - annoyingly, leaving Xander's eyes fluttering, looking slightly dazed. He stared at the blonde man through half slitted eyes, but he did not have to wait long. Remiel kissed him again - this time so thoroughly and passionately that Xander was not quite certain what any of his thoughts were anymore.
Xander's fingers slid down, gripping the hem of the blonde's shirt.
"One night," he breathed against Remiel's lips, his eyes shut. Heat filled his face, flushing across his cheeks. "That's it."
He leaned back, just enough, to pull Remiel's shirt over his head, twined his arms back around his neck, and pulled him down on top of him to the floor of the living room.
One night to remember what I once did.
