SPACEDon't worry about classes. They're sorta a half formed idea by Sensei. I think he forgot about it and sort of abandoned them, and I think they only applied to characters later in the game anyway. Just build your character how you want. The familiar, essences, weapon/armor abilities and such are what you want to look at. Basically look at the profile skeleton, and if a section seems interesting to you, look at the relevant info thread. As for items, there's nothing specific. Just pick whatever weapon or armor you want! They all cost 150 extols (unless you want spikes on your armor). That's listed in The Shop and in the first post of the weapon/armor abilities post.SPACEEssences are essentially the basic "magic" abilities. So if you want to be a sort of caster character, that's what you'd want to look at. You could play entirely without them though. The Prex, for instance, generally despise essence use. And the Sorji most rely on familiars instead.

Hello, hello!~
My name is Baiyun, but feel free to call me by my real name if you so desire.
I'm seventeen years of age and have been role-playing for... Uhm... Maybe five or six years?
My posts started out as s**t, and I still think they're s**t, but I suppose that's a matter of opinion.
I'm not the fastest poster in the world, so I'll apologize for this in advanced.
I also get easily distracted...
I live with my grandparents at the moment and I'm moving in a few weeks to go live back with my mom, so sometimes, that gets in the way too.
But life can get kinda busy because they're involved in several volunteer programs and they usually require my help.
I hope that covers everything, and I'm excited to be a part of this. The concept is actually rather interesting.
Now off to create a million different characters only to decide on one later!

SPACENo worries about life. We all get it. In fact, life is kinda kicking Sensei's a** right now. We don't have any really defined "activity" requirements though, so just try and get here when you can. The point is to have fun, after all!
SPACEUgh, I totally do that with characters too! I keep looking over all the stuff, and I'm like "This would be cool. Oh, this ability is fancy! But it doesn't fit into the feeling of the other one... Then maybe this and this.. But what about if I did these instead.." I have so many different character ideas I want to play, but can't. crying

It always makes me curious when I get randomly PM'd for role-plays and guilds, because then I wonder how the hell the found my in first place... Heh.
And woohoo! Activity requirements usually kick me in the a** and then I basically end up getting booted... so yay!

SPACENo problem! Thanks for joining! I basically went into Barton Town, looking for fantasy roleplays ('cause I figured that, well, fantasy players would naturally be interested in a fantasy roleplay), then within those looked for players that seemed decent. Pretty simple method, but effective enough. And hopefully the people that join do end up inviting their friends and such, and then we have a big happy guild!

I think in the last two days, I invited some like 100 people, and about 40ish have joined. So tons of fresh blood. Plus we're just getting started, so that always helps.

Wow, Your really putting work into it bro. Pat yourself in the back.Ya done good. I do got a question about the profiles though. With how many ranks do we start in each sub-sect I.E
In the essence how many ranks do we have to spend. Likewise for weapon and armor and such. And I think the starting Extol is 500 but I have no idea.

SPACEYeah, I really wanted this place to get off the ground. As for extols, you do indeed start with 500. As for ranks, you start with 10 total, then divide those as you wish between the various abilities.

I would just like to say that, I have finally decided what my character looks like, acts like....and what her name is.
Other than the rest of the overwhelming confusing stuff, I'm working on it. I gotta say though, the OOC really has helped me with it. I don't feel like a TOTAL oaf when I realize I'm not the only one asking questions.
