The next day Misty woke up early. She got dressed in red jeans, and a white and black kimono style shirt that was tight around the hips. She had a long black necklace with a jeweled heart on the end, and she wore PAC-man earrings. She put on her dark purple converse shoes and just left her long black hair down. She had a Ravens (Football team: Baltimore Ravens) back pack with other football team buttons all over it.
When she woke up her brothers their hair was all over the place, but all they had to do was brush it with a comb and it looked fine. They got dressed in normal jeans and t-shirts. They ate breakfast and brushed their teeth. Then they got their schedules and binders and walked outside. They were still early so they sat on the swing on their porch and talked waiting for Jade and possibly Adam.

Adam came running up to their front porch, "Hey guys, am I late?" He had his gray backpack slung over one shoulder over a black t-shirt and jeans. His converse were a bit beat-up, but he hadn't had any time to buy new ones because of the move.

Misty smiled as she stood with her brothers, "Nope just on time." She said smiling. Jade was walking towards them on the side walk. Misty brushed off her red skinny jeans and walked beside Adam and Jade.

Misty smiled at Adam as they started walking. She started talking to Jade and just stuff about the car she was repairing in Johnathon's shop. Once they started to get near to Leah's house Misty looked at Adam, "You don't mind if Leah's walks with us do you?" She asked smiling slightly.
((That's a great idea! Nick would be okay, he's the same age, but Josh would be okay too, but he's two years older. Nick is just a little bit more playful, and Josh is just a bit more mature.))

"Of course not," he said, looking at Leah's tan stucco house with bright flowers in the window boxes. It looked a bit on the msall side, but it was very nice.

Leah looked out the window at the usual time she expected Misty would be at her house, judging by walking with them the previous year. She grabbed her bag and headed out the door to meet them. "Hey guys," she called, waving.

Misty, Jade, Nick, and Josh all said hey pretty much at the same time. Misty was now walking in between Leah and Jade. The group of teenagers started up the large hill.
"You nervous?" Nick asked Adam, smiling.

"Not really, I just hope I'll be able to find my classes." he replied.
"Oh the layout of the school is pretty simple: just stay in the main hallway, and you can find your way anywhere!" Leah said, giving him an encouraging smile.

Josh nodded. "That school might seem big, but it's really simple on the inside. They've got signs everywhere too for the freshmen at the beginning of the year too." He said.
Misty and Jade nodded.
Nick smiled at Adam who was walking next to him, he lightly brushed him with his elbow and smirked, "And if your lucky to have your locker in the commons I know a lot of girls who like guys like you..." He whispered slyly to Adam, even though he said it loud enough for everyone else to hear.
Misty, Jade, rolled their eyes while Josh nodded with a smirk.

Nick smiled at Leah but then let his smile fade and let a pout come over his lips. "Leah?! Hurtful!" He said laughing his smile reappearing. He lifted his arms and folded them behind his head. "I know everything about getting girls..." He said proudly.
Misty just rolled her eyes and shook her head. "Not really." She mumbled.
Nick smirked and let his arms fall, he laughed as he wrapped his arms around his step sister. "Oh! Come on you know you love me...!" He said lifting her up and kissing her cheek. He let her down and laughed as she wiped her cheek in disgust. Then he set his arms over Jade's and Misty's shoulders. "See?" He said looking at Leah, smiling brightly.

Leah folded her arms and pretended to look serious, furrowing her brow. "Hmm... I don't know... I think you're mistaking love with disgust. If you know everything about getting girls... then..." she thought for a second, "Then I dare you to pick a random girl at school and see if you can get her to go on a date with you by Friday!"
She rolled her eyes, laughed, and continued to walk, knowing that any random girl probably would turn him down flat.
Not because Nick was a bad person, she thought, but because he always puts himself out there and for anyone who didn't already know him, it could be a bit overwhelming.

Nick smirked at Leah, "Easy!" He said confidently. Even though he already knew it would be a difficult. The small group walked onto the campus of Snow Wood. Nick went with Misty and Jade to show them where to get their locker numbers and combinations. Josh, Leah, and Adam were behind but walked slower.
Josh smiled at Leah, "You think he can do it?" He asked both Adam and Leah.
Misty and Jade both had their lockers in the commons near the vending machines. Their lockers were beside each others.

Leah answered Adam first, "Probably in the commons. And we'll see if Josh can do it, but I doubt he can!"

Josh looked at Leah and smiled, "Oooo, is that a challenge?" He asked chuckling. The three of them walked in and got their locker numbers and combinations. Josh smiled at them slightly, "Where are your lockers?" He asked. He showed them his little slip of paper, "Mines just a few down from Nick's in the commons. I think Misty and Jade's are around there somewhere too." He said. He smiled as he looked and saw Nick trying to find a girl to ask out. He pointed over Leah's shoulder, pointing at Nick.
