Hm...let's see. I don't listen to many different bands. I mostly stick to a few and listen to all of there songs...memorize the words...that kinda thing.

A lot of J-Rock. The usuals, mainly. And some J/K-Pop thrown in there, as well.
But I also like country music.
And 80's hard rock, soft rock, alternitive, and pop.
Modern bands are horrible.
Classical and Jazz are wonderful.
But I can't stand Sckat.
I enjoy listening to elegant ballads. I play the French horn, so they're what I usually get to play.

Well, since this was the first thread to show up when I logged on I decided to post my favorites~
Asian: (I'm not very origional am I...XD) Miyavi, Kagrra, hide, L'arc en Ciel, Gackt, D'espairsRay, Psycho le Cemu, Dir en Grey, Nightmare, TMR, and lately Kra and Panic Channel. <3
English: Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bjork, Modest Mouse, Dave Nivaro's solo stuff, Josh Groban, and Gorillaz.
Theres probably quite a bit more, but this is all I can think of at the moment. ninja

I'm a bit diffrent in my musical tastes...Everyone is naming off bands, but I really enjoy classical music like Mozart or Beethoven. Also soundtracks, such as Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, Phantom of the Opera, Anne of Green Gables, Pocahantas. I know its strange, but if you really listen to the music it could bring you to tears. I just let is soak into my soul. I also love a band called the cranberries. They are well known for their song Zombie, but rarely anyone knows them, if you do, notify me, I'd love to meet another fan! I have a Malice Mizer CD, and I love it, but its not my favorite, but I really do like it. I really don't get much J-rock cause its in short supply in America crying . I think Gwen Stefani's music is cute, some songs, not all. um....yea. There's my speech ...
