Roxas quickly pulled his pants on a to make it a little less awkward. "Sora...please, just... Just listen..," he tried weakly before the brunette began to yell at the redhead. He couldn't take what Sora was sayin about him and Axel. "Sora!" He squeaked when he slapped Axel. He moved forward to hold him back. "Axel!" He yelled again, tears coming to his eyes. "Stop! Stop it!" He screamed, diving down to grab Sora and try to drag him off if the redhead, tears pouring down his face. He felt Demyx shove him to the side slightly and wrapped hi strong arms around Sora's middle, lifting him up and off of Axel. "Come on," he said to him as he began to carry him out. Roxas stood there crying hard. "Why can't you just ******** let me be happy?! You don even ******** know what we just talked about! You have Riku and Demyx flirting out the a** with you! You have a choice! Axel's the only person who's willingly partially puts up with all of my bullshit! He's all I have, and, goddamnit, I want to try and make it work with him! Don't flip the ******** out before you even know what he ******** going on!" He screamed in Sora's face before storming off to his room in tears. The door slammed closed so hard it shook the shelf that was against the wall in Axel's room. Demyx stayed silent, holding on to Sora tightly.

Roxas heard what Sora was yelling at him as he ran down the hall. He was sobbing hard now as he pulled his shirt on. He grabbed his Vans from beneath his bed and his wallet before storming out of the house, furiously wiping at his face to get rid of the tears. He walked quickly down the road to get away from that damn house. He didn't even notice he didn't have a jacket on until a freezing cold wind hit him. Oh, yeah. It was almost Christmas. He ducked into the closest shop he could find and sat down at a table in the corner, laying his head on top of his arms that were crossed on it. He sobbed softly, body shivering with sobs and chill. After a few minutes of straight sobbing, he calmed down enough to look around at where he was. It was that ice cream shop they all went to during summer time. He would always sit in Axel's lap when they went, and Sora and Demyx would sit across from them in separate chairs. He apparently unconsciously sat at the table they usually claimed. He glanced over at the chair Sora usually sat in and sobbed again, tears falling down his cheeks once more. He hated it when he and Sora fought, but he didn't understand what Sora wanted from him! It always seemed like Sora wanted he and Axel to get together and be happy again, but now that they were trying he hated the idea. And, yeah, everyone int he house puts up with Roxas's s**t, but Axel's the only person who loved him in a romantic way even though Roxas was so emotional. Why did it have to all be so complicated? He slowly rose from his seat and walked up to the counter, wiping his tears away as more fell. "U-Um...can I get a medium double-fudge and Reese's Cup bowl? With, um..., caramel, sprinkes, oreo crumbs, M&Ms, gummy bears, a cherry and extra whipped cream?" It was what Sora usually got. Roxas always thought it was too sweet, but he couldn't help it right now. Once he got the ice cream and paid, he sat back down at the table and began to slowly eat it, tears not falling anymore as he stared down at the treat blankly.

Demyx nodded. "They both need to cool down. You really shouldn't have hit him, though, Axel. I mean, I know he didn't need to hit you either, but still..," he told him in a calm voice, offering a hand to help him up. "We need to work on that temper of yours. First, though, we need to take care of all this... Can you tell me what exactly happened from the time Roxas left the livingroom to right now? Because it seems different this time."

"Sora..? Are you okay?" asked Riku over the phone right after he answered. He sat up out of bed and put on a shirt and shoes, grabbing his keys. "Where are you, Sora? Is something wrong?" he asked him, voice a bit worried.

Demyx listened to him as he watched Axel dress. "Don't be so sure about that, Axel. This is all just messed up right now. If you go ahead and give up, then there's not much hope for all of this to turn out right, now is there?" he said, giving the redhead a small smile. "Now, I'm gonna go see if I can catch up to Sora. You go get your man," he told him, chuckling softly despite the situation. He went to his room to slide on some shoes and his jacket before heading out of the house and down the road. He pulled out his phone and called Sora, hoping to everything that he answered. It would be much easier to find him if he could talk him back down to Earth while he was looking.

Roxas had reverted back to crying hysterically again as he thought of how ******** up everything was right then...and how much he missed Sora. The half-eaten ice cream lay melting on the table beside him as he sobbed into his arms. "Please don't hate me..," he whispered before sobbing quietly again.

"Okay. You stay right there, okay? I'll be over in a few minutes," Riku assured him, hurrying out of the house, grabbing his coat on the way. He hopped into his car and had to impatiently let it sit for a good ten minutes to warm up from the cold weather.

"Oh, thank God. Sora, where are you? It's freezing outside! You need to get warm before you get sick or...or hypothermia!" came Demyx's incredibly worried voice over the phone. He didn't sound mad at all, just worried out of his mind. "If you're gonna storm off, the least you can do is grab a jacket..," he told him softly, voice trying to be comforting. "Tell me where you are so we can get you warmed up, okay? We don't have to go back there, but you need to get warm. You don't have any fat on your body to keep you insulated..." He frowned deeply as he hurried along the sidewalk.

Roxas happily allowed Axel to hold him. He sobbed against his shoulder pathetically, body trembling. For a few minutes all he could do was cry. Then he said, "I m-miss S-Sora..," in a choked voice before sobbing some more. "I sh-shouldn't have y-yelled at h-him... N-Now h-h-he h-hates m-me!"

"Sora, please... Please can we talk when you're warm? You're gonna freeze," Demyx said, his composure breaking. "Just tell me where you are so I can warm you up. You know you can barely handle the cold with a jacket... I wasn't taking his side, Baby. I'm not taking a side. I was trying to figure out what happened. I just want you two to be somewhere warming up and not fighting. I hate it when you and Roxas fight... Please just tell me where you are, Sora. ...I don't want to lose you," he whispered desperately.

Roxas nodded, sniffling. "Th-Thank you, Axel... Th-That's just something we have to work on with you... C-Controlling that t-temper of y-yours..." He hugged Axel again. "C-Can we go b-back home now? I'm c-cold..," he mumbled against his shoulder. "I wanna go snuggle until Sora and Demyx get back..," he said softly, looking up at Axel, eyes still brimmed with red.

"Yes you are, Sora! You're out in the cold with barely anything o--" He cut himself off, a thought suddenly crossed his mind. Suddenly, he looked very hurt. He slumped back against the side of the apartments down the street from their house. "Ah... You called Riku, didn't you?" he asked quietly, heartbeat suddenly dropping as he felt tears fill his eyes. "Just, um... Just please be back before tomorrow night...and, uh...call or...or text me when you're at his place and warmed up, okay? You know I worry about you... I want you to be safe..." His voice was a little shakey. He looked down at the jacket he held in his hand, grip now tight on it. "I'm sorry I didn't come right after you... I was just...trying to fix everything... And, um... I guess we'll have to go Christmas shopping some other time..." He tried to sniffle silently so Sora wouldn't hear him. In the background, he heard Riku start talking to Sora. "Be safe, okay? And...try to forgive them... They're just trying to fix what's still there..," he said before slowly hanging up the phone.

"Sora! Thank God!" Riku said as he hopped out of his car and ran towards the brunette, blanket in his hand. He immediately pulled him into his arms and wrapped the blanket around him snugly. "Let's get you in the car, okay?" he said in a caring voice, kissing the top of his head. He immediately hoisted the brunette up into his arms and carried him to his black Ford Focus. He set him in the passenger seat and buckled him in. He shut the door and hurried around to his side, putting the heater on full-blast for Sora's sake. "Let's get you all warmed up, okay?" he told him with a soft smile, buckling his seatbelt before starting off down the road.

Roxas smiled softly as Axel helped him put his jacket on then leaned on him as they walked to the car. "Thank you," he said softly as Axel turned the heater on full-blast. "You're sweet..." His teeth chattered a bit as he leaned over to plant a light kiss on Axel's cheek. He then buckled his seat belt and got comfortable in the passenger seat.

"You're not terrible, Baby. Why do you think you're--" he finally looked--actually looked at Sora's face. He almost ran them off the road from his shock. "Sora, what happened?! What happened to your beautiful face?! Did someone hit you? Who was it? Was it Roxas? No, he wouldn't hit you... Was it Axel? Or was it Demyx, and that's why you called me? You're not going back to that house. You're staying with me. I'm not letting him hurt you again," he said sternly, a deep frown set on his face. "I'm gonna kick his a**. No one lays a finger on my Sora and gets away with it. He's gonna ********' pay. He ********' takes his side, and he ********' hits you? That doesn't ********' fly with me," he seethed, eyes dead ahead at the road. "I won't let him hurt you anymore. You'll stay safe and sound at my place, and no one will hurt you anymore..," he continued in a quiet voice.

Roxas smiled over at Axel seeing the blush. "I miss this. Us actually being nice to each other and civilized... It's nice to feel like this again around you, ya know?" he told him, resting his hand on top of the redhead's on the steering wheel briefly. He ran his thumb over the back of Axel's hand before taking his own back right before they pulled into the parking lot of the apartments. He looked out the windshield, smile immediately turning to a frown as he noticed a lone Demyx trudging up the sidewalk, looking defeated. As soon as they were parked, Roxas stood out of the car, holding his jacket tightly around him. His teeth chattered as the wind blew past. "Wh-What's wrong, D-Demyx?" he asked as he hurried up to him. He frowned deeper as he noticed tracks of tears rolling down his face. "L-Let's all get inside..," he said softly, pulling him a little faster to the house, entering as Axel held the door open. He led Demyx to the couch and sat him down on it, sitting beside him and waiting, holding his arms around himself for warmth.

"He's at Riku's..," he said quietly, more tears streaming down his cheeks. "He... He called...Riku to come get him..," he added, voice beginning to break. "Dem, Honey, it's okay. He...He's safe at Riku's, and we can fix everything late--" "But he didn't call me! He called Riku! He chose Riku over me!" he yelled, eyes fierce and full of pain. "Damnit..," he whimpered. Roxas's eyes were a little wide at Demyx's outburst. "Dem... Oh, Dem... I didn't know..," he said softly, hugging him comfortingly. Demyx buried his face in Roxas's shoulder and continued to sob as Roxas rubbed his back. "Shh... Shh, Dem... It's okay..." He glanced up at Axel, a soft frown on his face. "Axel, could you go make some tea please?" he asked him quietly.

Riku still scowled a little. "I don't care. You're still not going back to that house. You're staying with me from now on. You're not staying there anymore where you're in danger. Axel has a foul temper. He'll do it again. Just look what he and Roxas go through. All because of that damn temper of his. He's dangerous to those around him. He's hit Roxas multiple times. I won't let him near you anymore. You're too precious to be around filth like him. Roxas is, too. Neither one of y'all deserve to be in his presence. I don't see what he sees in that damn firecrotch," he growled under his breath, looking absolutely vicious. His face suddenly softened, like his whole personality changed, as he glanced at Sora again, a soft smile on his face. "You'll be safe at my apartment, though. I won't hurt you. I promise you I'll never hurt you like they do."
