Bubba smiled when he noticed Marshall zooming down the road towards him. He stood quickly and made sure he had everything in his pockets before stepping up to the parked bike. When Marshall offered him the helmet, he blushed dark red. He examined it while Marshall explained himself. He slid it on his head and smiled shyly at him. "Thanks," he told him softly, looking up at him with his big blue eyes. He huffed angrily and crossed his arms with a slight pout. "I thought you weren't gonna wear your contacts! If you're wearing yours, I'm going to go get mine and put them back in!" He looked at Marshall expectantly, refusing to get on the bike until he saw the genuine colour of the teen's eyes. He looked way too forward to this for his own good; he was not backing down easily.

Gumball giggled a little when Marshall finally realized he had his contacts in still. He slid onto the bike and wrapped his arms around Marshall's waist like usual, laying against him as much as he could with the bulky helmet on. He smiled while the bike was moving, enjoying the ride. When Marshall told him to keep his eyes closed, he did so and stumbled a little off of the bike when he was led into the house, Bubba tripping every now and then.

He sighed in relief when he could open his eyes again. He looked at the all-too-familiar house and smiled slightly...until Marshall called out to his mother. Oh, God, I'm gonna meet his mom! he panicked inside his head, pulling the helmet off of himself for a moment and shaking his hair out. When Marshall's mother emerged from the adjoining room, Bubba looked at her in awe. She really was a beautiful woman. She looked just like Marshall did...olive skin and dark hair... Maybe his biological mother? he thought to himself and smiled timidly at her when Marshall told them to talk and disappeared in the house. Bubba looked up at her awkwardly. "Um, your house is beautiful. I don't think I've ever been into a neater one that still felt like home," he complimented shyly, giving her a little smile.

He quickly turned his head and looked up at Marshall when he heard him emerging. Oh, God, those eyes... Bubba felt lost for words for a moment. And those glasses... He's so perfect... He snapped out of it quickly. "Ready to go now, Mr. Forgetful?" he asked teasingly, ready to pull the helmet back on and shut his eyes so Marshall could lead him back outside and to the bike.

Bubba laughed a little when he tumbled up onto the bike, eyes still shut. He wrapped his arms around his waist and laid against him comfortably. He enjoyed the ride all the way to the mall, even though he knew Marshall was going way too fast. Right then, he didn't really care about anything except latching onto the olive-skinned teen and enjoying the ride.

He reluctantly let go of Marshall and slid off of the bike, making sure his three pockets were still holding his items. He grinned sneakily and took his camera out while Marshall took his helmet off. He turned it on and took aim. "Hey, Marshall?" he called to him. As soon as the other male looked at him, helmet just being taken off, he snapped a picture and giggled at the expression on Marshall's face. "I got you! Oh, and you show up in the photo, too! Not a real vampire after all, I suppose," he teased, prancing ahead of the black-haired boy to get away rom any snatching hands that may try to take the camera away from him and delete the picture. He didn't want to chance it so he wrapped the cord around his waist and turned it off. He wanted to keep that photo forever. Marshall in his natural appearance... He really was gorgeous.

"Come oooon! Let's go inside already! I haven't been to the mall in years!" he said gleefully, flipping around backwards and trotting so he could smile at Marshall who was dragging behind him. He loved the mall. He hadn't been since Fionna and he stopped hanging out as much and he missed it. Plus, he was in such a good mood, that he felt free. He felt like he could get away with doing anything in this mall, and that was rare. He usually followed rules pretty strictly...except when it came to Marshall's tendencies to smoke out back of the school. Marshall always seemed to be the exception.

"No it's not! I take wonderful pictures! Plus, I really like that picture," he told him with a smile. When Marshall set his hand on his shoulder and asked what he did, Gumball hummed to himself in thought. "How about...Wet Seal? I need some new tank tops," he said thoughtfully, not even thinking that he basically just admitted to Marshall that he wore women's clothing. He just happily grabbed Marshall's hand and began running through the mall, giggling. He was so giddy and happy! Probably because he was spending time with the guy of his dreams in a place he loved but hadn't been to in a while. He dragged the wannabe vampire into the store and headed straight for the discount rack, sifting through the shirts quickly, gathering a few on his arm to try on and picked out a few pairs of skinny jeans as well. He looked at Marshall and blushed darkly when he realized he was shopping like a woman. "Um...would you mind if I tried them on..? Then we can go to wherever you want," he said awkwardly, feeling embarrassed now.

Bubba smiled at him gleefully and pecked him on the cheek before he ran over to the dressing rooms. He was so excited! And Marshall really didn't seem to mind shopping with him. Even when he and Fionna used to go shopping, she just didn't understand the way of feminine shopping. She was such a tomboy. When he emerged from the small cubby of a room, he was wearing a dull sky blue pair of skinny jeans and a black tank top with an intricate design on the front in gold studs. He easily modeled for Marshall. "How do I look?" he asked, a big smile on his face as his blue eyes sparkled. He was so happy. He couldn't remember being this happy any time in the near past--since his mother began to go downhill. But now...now he couldn't wipe the smile on his face...especially when he saw a badly-hidden look of adoration in Marshall's eyes. His heart thu-thumped in his chest rapidly when he noticed that. He felt like he was so elated right now he could just soar straight up into the sky and never come down.

Bubba was amazed that Marshall sat all the way through him giving him a fashion show without complaints. He really was incredible in every way. He stared at himself in the mirror in the last outfit he had to show him. He pretty much picked it out just for Marshall... It reminded him of him. And maybe...if they went to the mall again...he could wear it so Marshall didn't feel so out of place. He messed with the hem of the tank top, fidgeting a little. He wondered if Marshall would even notice hat it was a little darker than his usual wardrobe. He looked over the tank, liking the contrast between the thin, black material and the tons of skulls decorating the front. He also liked that the back was red. He still had his own colour in there somewhere... The skinny jeans he picked out were a light stormy blue and had rips all down the front, which he usually stayed away from. He didn't like looking ratty, but...he kind of liked these.

When Marshall called through the door, he took in a deep breath and smiled. "Yeah, one more. I'm fixin' to come out. Let me know what you think, okay?" he requested softly and opened the door to the dressing room. He clasped his hands behind his back as he waited for a reaction. "So...what do you think? A keeper or no?" he asked him, eyes getting locked onto the other's face to gauge his reaction.

Bubba blushed dark and giggled a little when Marshall kissed his forehead. Now he was getting the picture. He nodded and gave a small, "Okay," before he disappeared back inside the room and tried to calm his heart down. He leaned back against the wall and held his hand to his chest, breathing out slowly and deeply. He was going to have a heart attack by the end of the day. He took a deep breath and changed out of the clothes and back into his regular clothes. He exited the dressing room with them all draped over his arm again and smiled at Marshall. "Okay, I'm ready. Let me pay for these then we can go to Hot Topic or Spencer's or wherever you wanna go," he told him gleefully. He hummed all the way to the counter and set the clothes down on it, smiling at the cashier. He pulled out his card to pay for everything, getting it ready so he could just swipe it as soon as she was done ringing everything up.

Bubba blushed when Marshall commented that he loved to shop. "I don't get out very often," he mumbled indignantly and swiped his card through the reader. He got his receipt and took his two bags into his hands, turning to face Marshall. "Okay, we can go wherever you wanna go now," he said brightly. When Marshall didn't respond or move, Bubba frowned a little and waved his hand in front of his face. He was going to ignore the fact that Marshall seemed to be staring right at him lost in thought. "Marshall, I'm ready to go wherever you want to go," he told him, giggling slightly when the other snapped out of his trance. He was so cute. At least it gave him a moment to actually get a good look at Marshall's eyes. They were so deep that Bubba was scared he would get lost in them if he looked too long.
