 Ewwwwww Aguav berries. Food? Yes. Delicious? A whole lot of no. Cai gathered them anyways. Maybe he could pawn them off on some of the other stranded. [19/23]

In moments Oki returned to Anise with yet another Aguav berry. Perhaps bitter was his favorite flavor. She scratched him on the head and stashed the berry with the others.

Oki looked around, but couldn't find any more of the Aguav berries. Instead he found a bush of pink berries that smelled sweet. Then seemed familiar, he though he remembered Anise using them before. So he brought her over to see.
"Pecha berries! A sure cure for poison" she said, identifying them instantly. Also not the most useful as food, but a very handy cure. She harvested a few for her supplies.

Anise continued to search among the bushes and soon came across one with round yellow fruit. Sitrus berries! Those were particularly nutritious, and had a flavor anyone would like. What a lucky find! Those were quickly stashed away in her bag.

Dizzy_Kat More Cheri berries joined his stock pile. Cai tossed the 'reward' a little closer to himself than previously, testing to see how close the bunneary was willing to get. [20/23]

As Anise looked to see if there were more Sitrus berries nearby, Oki came up with another Pecha held carefully in his mouth. Anise was kind of surprised he managed to hold them so gently that he barely bruised the skin. She patted him again and tucked the berry away.

Well if there were anything poisonous around (and Cai wouldn't be surprised to find something nasty out here) they were set. Pecha berries provided a popular antidote to most poisons he'd encountered. [22/23]

Oki soon found another bush of berries he recognized. He fetched Anise and towed her to the plant covered with blue fruits. "Oran berries! Also ever-useful." She harvested several and looked around.
She'd gathered quite a few by now, and she wondered how everyone else was doing. "How're things coming?" she called out to the group at large. They were a bit spread out, so she wasn't sure where everyone was, but she doubted they were out of hearing range. "I've found quite a bit, anyone want to gather and see how much we've got?"

Cai looked back the way he'd come as he heard one of the others calling. "Thanks for the help." Cai reached for one of the pieces of cheese he'd managed to pocket before things went down and tossed it to the bunneary. With the berries now, he could spare a little extra something for the pokemon's help.
"My bags are full." Cai called back, walking towards Anise from where he'd wandered. "I'm surprised by how much is growing here."

"Yeah, I've just about filled my bag, too," Anise replied, slinging the strap over one shoulder to make carrying it easier. "I found plenty of berries edible by humans, and several useful for their medicinal properties." If the two of them had had this much luck finding food, she doubted anyone else had any trouble. "We're probably set for fruit, for at least today. Want to head back?"

"Yeah. I've got a good amount of Rawst berries now. Once we're back I'll see about getting something together for sunburns." Cai looked around for the others and cupped his hands around his mouth. "Oy! We're heading back. If you don't want to get lost you'd better hurry up!" That was all the warning he was going to give the kids. Anise had the map after all.

Anise was mindful of the Captain's instruction not to travel alone and waited until everyone had gathered together. Then she headed back to the campsite to deliver her berries and see what else needed doing.

You can keep RPing in here or keep collecting berries if you like.
Everyone who has tried to collect berries at least once will get the pokemon added to their sighted pokemon list automatically. You can RP this is you like, but is not necessary.
