"Your teacher would be proud of you I'm sure. I am sorry to hear about your teacher. Though I would say your very talented to be able to teach yourself and write your own music. It would be fun to listen to you in the competition. I think you should do it." He said softly nodding at Vaele when he said he would need to be disguised. "That makes sense to enter under another name, though I would think the competition would be fair. Some judges probably think that it would be in their best interest to make sure the prince won."

"Oh, still she sounded like a nice woman. I'm sure she liked teaching you." Philip said softly before he moved a bit close to Vaele. "What piece do you think you will play for the contest if you do enter it? I would like to enter something like that, but I'm not actually musically talented. Or not enough to enter something." No, Philip didn't think he was overly skilled in any area. His only unique feature was having silver scales which he wasn't sure was always a good thing. He didn't blend in with the water and surrounding plants like blue or green scales did. "Vaele, thank you for being here. Your the first person I think I can truly call a friend. If you didn't follow me or check on me after what happened, I don't know what I would have done. Even now, you helped me out and you didn't have to. So thank you."

Philip looked at Vaele and shook his head. "While I would like to rely on you for things, I don't think I can for everything Vaele. I mean it isn't just because your a prince, but I can't let people think I'm using you our your pitying me. I know your not someone to do that, but others might take it that way." Philip looked at Vaele before he looked away and sighed. "I think I have feelings for you more then just friends. It could simply be because you were there when I needed someone. I am probably mistaking it for something that isn't there. I just thought you should know."

Philip looked back at Vaele and nodded. "Of course." Wait, Vaele said be could pursue the position if the feelings really were there? That surprised him and it showed. He wasn't sure if that was a good thing to know or not but at least Vaele didn't seem appalled by the idea. "Thank you for not rejecting it right away. I am happy that you are still alright with being around me knowing the feelings I have." With his confession Philip felt better and was able to relax fully. "I rather like the sanctuary, it's peaceful here. Thank you for letting me know about it Vaele."

"It might be cruel, but it is in your rights to reject unwanted feelings if that is what they are." He said simply not saying that Vaele felt that way of course. Philip would remain in this garden for as long as he could if it wouldn't be considered odd. He didn't want to return home knowing that Solaris was there and probably with his new partner. The thought alone made the teen sad, but he refused to let that get to him. "Im glad that everyone is welcome here. I really don't want to go back to that house. Though I know I will have to when the time comes."

"I don't want to return to that house, I have no happy memories of living there. Since it is Solaris' house he would return to it, he only let me remain before because I wasn't well enough to move. Im sure he didn't expect me to recover. If that happened he wouldn't be disgraced for leaving me." The male said before he let out a sigh running a hand through his hair. "If I am able to stay here for a short time, I am sure I can find a place to live, get a job or something." When he heard Vaele speak of banning Solaris from the house for betraying him Philip shook his head. "I don't want to do something like that. It would only make others feel bad for him being removed from his home and I would appear vengeful."

Philip didn't even think about how difficult it would be for him to get a job after the incident. "I would like to at least try to get a job on my own, though Im grateful that you want to help me with finding a job as well." Vaele truly was a wonderful man and Philip was grateful for everything that the other was doing.

"Honestly, I don't know what I want to do. I guess I would be best at doing some kind of labor since I am used to cleaning and cooking for Solaris. I would like to perform, to dance or something like that. I have always enjoyed the arts, but never had a chance to pursue them."

"I will keep that in mind, thank you again Vaele." Philip said letting out a small chuckle. "I don't think I could do anything too difficult, after all Im not very strong. I don't think I could even do anything overly physical right now anyways." He said after a bit of thought.

"I would like to teach children to dance if that is really alright with everyone involved." He said after a moment. "The only thing to do now, is apply I suppose. That and find a place to stay in the meantime."
