If your character has FOLLOWED the two knights, roll a 1d4 and match the dice roll below. If you are noticed before you can follow, you are sent back. If you manage to roll successfully, you hear the full news/ whispers of what happened. You can only roll ONCE.
1. A knight catches you sneaking up behind him. He sends you back. 2-4. You trip over a few things but manage to make it to the room where they are talking. You listen behind the door.
Snippets of conversation could be already heard behind the the stable door.
"I saw it for myself," Mordred rants, "the curse, they have been cursed by the witch queen, all of them. That is why they behave strangely."
"That is an impressive accusation," Galahad pauses. "If that is true then it means they would not even know if they themselves were spies."
"Her magic is strong," Mordred continues. "We must uphold our duty as Great Knights. If we flush out all the traitors, then our castle is at least secure until the Great King returns."
"And what of Lancelot? Does he know?"
"Of course," it was spoken without any waver in tone, "he was informed immediately. He has gone to recruit help with the knights that are uncursed to seek Morgana and defeat the curse."
"By himself?" Galahad sounded incredulous.
"He will try," Mordred continues, "but I am afraid he will fail. I would follow but the knights that have been cursed, it has been on my mind, if Camelot itself is not safe-"
- "I will take care of them then, and then we will follow Lancelot. Protecting the castle is our top priority."
Needless to say, seeing Mordred all of the sudden was a surprise. He watched the two knights run off to speak in private. With a furrowed brow, he looked around at the mess, then quietly made his way to follow the duo. Something wasn't right here at all.
He kept his distance as he tailed the two. When they went into a room, he stood by, listening carefully. The words he heard gave him pause. The curse...
Shun recalled Morgana's black butterflies flying out. One had touched him. What did that make him now? A spy apparently, according to the two. Things were not adding up, however. Not in the slightest, given what he had heard and seen in the tower. Maybe Mordred wasn't dead, but he was not to be trusted.
The knight just wasn't sure what to do from there. There was no way Galahad would listen to any of them over the word of another Great Knight. As for Lancelot... he didn't know if the guy had already left for new recruits. Then again, what Mordred stated wasn't necessarily a lie. He too believed there to be some who would side with Morgana among their ranks.
He was going to need some time to think and consider his options.
There was also the concern of what the curse meant for himself. Just how much of a hazard was he?

The bird safe on the ground allowed Riley the chance to stand, just in time to see the knights rush away in a hurry. She chose to follow, because it was better than staying to interact further with others and possibly risk their safety around her. When she arrived, however, and waited to listen behind the door, she was not alone. Nor was anything she heard, good news.
Because she knew exactly who they were talking about, and she knew a great many of her friends were in trouble.
She saw Shun standing there, hearing the same words she had, and she held out her arm, where the spot of skin that once housed the mark of Morgana's curse, lied. It was clean now, save for the faintest of marks - but his might not be. She said nothing, for fear of being caught, but in her eyes the question remained.
Are we in trouble?

Alexandra had been on her way to find Lancelot in the first place, but when she heard and saw Mordred (wasn't he supposedly missing?) grab Galahad, she had to duck down and follow them. This was incredibly suspicious.
The snippets she caught were incredibly unnerving. The curse made them spies? Something about taking care of them? Were they going to hunt down every Knight that had the black butterfly on them?
They were going to leave after the issue was taken care of, apparently following Lancelot. That would leave only Merlin in Camelot, and she hadn't seen heads or tails of the Black Knight since the initiation.
This was all very, very frightening. Lexi knew, however, that she needed to hide her mark.

TK turned to watch the two Great Knights leave, and he narrowed his eyes slightly. His curiosity was piqued then, and he could not stop himself from silently following after the pair. He glanced at the other knights that seemed to have the same thing on their minds, and the young boy stood still as he listened to the ensuing conversation.
Ah, is that what happened with Morgan and the Queen? That was interesting, but it was also odd to see Mordred suddenly appear. Had the vision been of the past or future? He could no longer tell. He furrowed his brows.

Tending to the wounded took more time then expected. Far more even then he could spare to venture below the castle to join others in what would later lead to Gawain's death. The news came as a shock. Words came back to the hall of knights fighting and slaying other great knights. The sound of darkness escaping into the castle its self?
Roland couldn't understand it, he wandered in a daze after the battle was ended. He roamed the courtyard outside, finally having left the hall and the wounded there. Many where milling about cleaning others where talking in small groups as he picked his way through the remains of chaos inspecting the damage he had missed while held up in the shelter. Among the rubble being pushed and cleared away he found a scale, something from a large snake it looked like. Slowly he gathered the scale watching as others started to whisper and take notice of a conversation going on by two of the remaining great knights.
Duly chastised, Cady decided to join the clean up efforts in the courtyard.
But then she noticed a couple of the great knights talking discreetly, with a surprising crowd of people very carefully and nonchalantly cleaning the courtyard just within earshot. She decided to join them -
and almost instantly regretted it. Cursed. It was true, too. Yep. That was it. She was dead, and she couldn't even remember being born. Morgan or whatever she was calling herself now had left a really weird butterfly just above her butt, which she secretly thought was kind of edgy and cool.
Morosely, she wondered if they'd give her a last meal.
She hoped it would have potatoes.

The violet knight was humming a tuneless song to himself and wiping snake blood off of the same spot on one particular wall over and over when Mordred shouted for his fellow. Mmur jumped and looked around guiltily. He hadn't done nothin'.
Dropping the recently full but now half empty skin of liquor he'd found behind a bale of hay that was crawling with chickens, Mmur stumbled off to try to spy on his elders, only to get turned around and directed right back into the courtyard. No fair. He pouted his way back over to the booze hiding chicken pile and sat down in the middle of it, dozing off almost instantly.

And so like many others milling about the yard Roland with his scale in hand happened to pass by two greater knights, mostly in a daze still trying to recall everything he had heard only to freeze up at the conversation he was hearing.
Traitors among.
Traitors among the knights even in this yard right now.
Riley continued her mime, even as more of their fellows surrounded them to listen. She dared not say a word out loud, but she had no idea what to do.
Her lips moved in pantomime, and as she mouthed out the words, her fingers walked along her palm in walking motions.
Should we run?

Honestly, Maple was kind of avoiding speaking to Lancelot about the incident in the treasure room. Mostly because she really had nothing to explain to him; how does one give information they didn't have? Everyone had a better idea than she had, would be more helpful. So, the young lady had decided to instead head to the courtyard. Cleaning up seemed like a much better idea anyways, something she could actually do.
What she arrived to was indeed a mess, there was.... just so much littered upon the ground, from destroyed kegs to sadly the impaled bodies of knights who had given their lives. Maple paled slightly as she walked past them all, unsure if she was up to this task after all. There seemed to be chickens, oddly enough, which at least got her mind off of staring at the dead bodies.
Oh and the snake bits. Fun.
Was there a good place to start, she wondered as she looked to her fellow knights to see what they were doing. Their attentions seemed to be elsewhere, some of them even wandering off and when Maple turned her gaze to where they were she noticed two of the Great Knights making their way through the courtyard themselves. Maple nibbled on her lower lip, unsure if she should go after them like a few of the others were.
