✦Charlotte✦ Witch of Nightmares  ✗┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓✗ Charlotte rubbed her eyes slightly as she sat up, leaning on one of her arms as Vincent spoke "Morning..." she said tiredly. She nodded as Vincent asked if she slept well. Eventually, Charlotte was mostly awake and glanced outside to see that it was still dark out. She looked over at Vincent "How long was I asleep for?" she asked curiously. ✗┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ ✗

Closing his eyes, Vincent sat back in the chair and laid his head against the wall. "Don't thank me. What I did, I did out of selfishness, besides, I should be the one thanking you." Vincent said, before yawning. "You know, I really wouldn't mind staying here, with you.....for awhile." he then muttered. "Maybe, someday, I can make you forget all about your past and focus on the future instead. Yes, someday, I'm going to make you happy that you've been given a second chance to live." Vincent opened up one eye and looked over at Charlotte, "I'll make sure that, you'll never be alone again. If you ever seem crippled by despair or fear, I'll become your light, your hope." Vincent then smiled. "I liked the sound of that....Hope."

✦Charlotte✦ Witch of Nightmares ✗┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓✗ Charlotte listened to Vincent quietly as he spoke before glancing downwards towards the bed. "I... wouldn't mind that..." she admitted quietly. Whether she meant him staying with her a while longer, him wanting to be her hope, or both was unknown. Her speaking about her past before falling asleep felt like a dream to her since she was basically out of it. Part of her figured since he was so open with her, she should be open with him. She also found it difficult to keep that info from him. ✗┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ ✗

As Charlotte spoke, Vincent was actually slowly falling asleep. He had been through two grueling battles, back to back, with little to no time to fully rest and after all that had happened today, it was a miracle that he remained conscious for this long. "Sounds like a plan to me then." With yet another yawn, Vincent would finally doze off, steal leaning in the back of the chair. It looked uncomfortable.

✦Charlotte✦ Witch of Nightmares ✗┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓✗ Charlotte stared at Vincent for a few moments as he seemed to drift off. She wouldn't blame him. He went through a ton today. She watched him for a bit longer before slowly getting up and wrapping her arms around Vincent and somehow managing to get him into the bed. She winced slightly as her head went fuzzy for a moment, obviously still warn out from earlier as well. Charlotte ended up moving to the other side of the bed, her gaze moving to Vincent for a few moments. She leaned down and kissed him on the head before laying down the rest of the way and closing her eyes again, eventually drifting to sleep once more. ✗┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ ✗

✦Charlotte✦ Witch of Nightmares ✗┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓✗ Charlotte never stirred once throughout the night though once Vincent embraced her, she would lean in against him while she slept. Morning finally came and sunlight began slowly filling the room through the one small window. Despite that, Charlotte seemed to continue sleeping. By now the flush on her face was completely gone, meaning she had regained some of her energy. ✗┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ ✗

She moved slightly in Vincent's arms and eventually opened her eyes. She blinked a few times as her eyes eventually went to Vincent's. "Good morning..." she said tiredly, not seeming to process that she was in his arms. ✗┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ ✗
