Brooke stared at her with an I-know-what's-going-on-so-why-hide-it-from-me look, and then rolled her eyes. 'Oh, come on, Amaree! You like someone, tha's for sure!' She noted Amaree averting her gaze. 'Cause I'm that kind of a lion. And you're gonna live with me, so you may well get used to it.' Brooke winked and smiled impishly.

If Amaree wasn't tan, she would definitely have been red at this point. She tossed her head and growled for a second. Then she finally gave up. "Fine! Fine.... I'll tell you..." Amaree flopped down and set her head on her paws. "So I like Rellick... alot... I mean a lot alot... you know... as in I wish I could be queen but I'm too shy to say anything to him... so I just asked to join as a hunting sister. I was surprised that he said yes. I feel like I'm always bothering him..." Amaree heaved a big sigh and looked over at Brooke. "Promise me you won't tell anyone... Please?" Amaree asked, looking over to Brooke with pleading eyes. "I don't want him to find out until I tell him... Until I know the time is right..." Amaree said, looking once again off in the distance. She could trust Brooke, couldn't she? She was her new pride sister, after all, and they would become hunting companions. She tried to tell herself that everything would be alright.

"Aww, Amaree's got a crush." she said, coming behind the two with a smirk. She put her paw up on Amaree's head with a strong grin. "I think he likes you back." she said, continueing to grin. She slid her paw down. She didn't wait for a responce until she jumped, landing on a large boulder. "I'm not surprized you like him. Pretty much every lioness I've met has wound up liking the first boy they met... except me of corse. But I mean really, look at Kerai for crying out loud. She is so Gaga over Brazen it isn't even funny." she said with a laugh. She then rolled alittle, so she was on her back on the rock. She then slid off, catching herself with her paws again. She then jumped up to Amaree and Brooke, with a sly glint in her eyes.

'Don't worry, I'd never ask you if I were going to tell people, would I?' Brooke smiled. She heard Areli from behind. What was she... Brooke hadn't dropped her guard for a long while, and all she had to show for her shock was a slight exhale of air. She turned around to Areli, smiling somewhat strangely. 'Oh, yea, mm... Sure.'

Amaree looked away and sighed. Brooke wasn't the only one to hear her conversation. Amaree looked at Areli and growled lowly. She really hadn't liked the intrusion, but because Areli was her friend, she stopped and allowed it. "He's not the first guy I ever met... Sebastian was...." Amaree said, again blushing, laying down and putting her head on her paws. What would happen if someone found out? What would happen to her? What would happen to the pride? Would Rellick toss her out? Amaree looked off in the distance, and spotted a slight glimpse of red on the savanna. It was Rellick! She lifted her head and tried to contain her excitement. She looked over at Brooke with a look that said please-don't-let-Areli-tell-anyone.

Brooke saw the red speck out in the distance. 'Look, it's Rellick!' She exclaimed, more as a distraction than anything. She turned and winked at Amaree, catching her look and returning it with a don't-worry-I'll-follow-her-like-a-stinkbug-if-you-need-me-to look. She normally wouldn't have risked it for a lion she had known for less than a day, but she had the feeling that Amaree was different from what she was used to. And for that, she was willing to risk anything.

Amaree caught the look and returned a very greatful nod. She looked off in the distance. "Yeah, I think I see him. I hope he was successful." Amaree said, standing up and heading down off the little platform that they were enjoying. "C'mon, let's go see how it went." Amaree said, reaching the bottom where the den began. She hoped that Brooke would take care of it for her. Amaree wasn't much for stalking people, and she was grateful that one of her Pride sisters was so devoted and trusting when they had only met not very long ago. "I was wondering about him, it was getting kind of late."

Brooke smiled, and then stood, nudging Areli softly. 'Come on, then.' She said, eyeing Areli just to make sure she hadn't caught the glances she and Amaree had exchanged. 'We'll see if he's come back to get his tail tanned, eh?'

Areli smiled alittle at Amaree and Brooke. "Alright, lets go see the king... wait..." she said, then stopped. "He doesn't know I'm here yet... how about we... surprize him alittle?" she said and grinned. She turned, and ran around where she couldn't be seen.

((Just posting an update... Rell got a little side tracked near Silver Dawn, where he hopes to make Akintunde an Ally.. As Silver Dawn is the nearest neighboring Pride currently active, this is a smart choice made by our Scarlet King.. He's within seeing distance surely, but is about to enter another's Pride Lands.. Just saying this so the girls won't thunder into another's lands and get us all in trouble! You have my apologies for this slight delay, and I promise the King will be returned as soon as he has spoken with Akin! Thanks! ))
Rellick hesitated atop a hill, catching sight of Scarlet Shadows. The sight of his lands tugged at his heart, for he knew Brook and Amaree awaited him there. As much as he hated to leave them alone, he knew he had to speak to at least one other King... A nearby one. "I'll be home soon." He swore to the wind, hoping it would take his words to his lands and soothe the lionesses. "I'll be back for you."

((Lol, I see. Lets remedy that, shall we? xD))
Brooke stood for a second, watching the red speck. 'Wait, he's... I don't think he's coming back just yet. He looks like he's going somewhere else.' She shrugged and followed Areli around. 'Wouldn't hurt to hide first, though, now would it?'

Jadera entered her brother's territory and cocked an ear, hearing Brooke's voice. She smiled and trotted up to the Blue Cub, her jade coat glistening over toned muscles. She would be an adult soon. "Heya Brooke." She grinned. "How goes things? Who ya hiding from?" She cocked her head and gave a playful tail wag. "Can I get in on the game?"

Jay trotted alongside the deep red form, gray eyes taking in the new lands. He'd never been far from home, the trip from Rackna's not counting in his mind. He had some wild adventures out there. Had driven his father to paranoia, a accomplishment in his mind.
"Almost there?" The teens eyes lingered a little longer on Rellick then they should have. Jay jerked his eyes away, flushing under the dark coat. Why the hell had he been staring?

Rell smiled and nodded. "Yeah.. Home's just around the corner really." He grinned, glancing at Jay and half-hoping to meet the other lion's eyes. He glanced back to the lands and rounded the trees, smiling at his home. "Welcome Dark Prince. Welcome to Scarlet Shadows.. " The lands stretched out around them, soon to be painted by the setting sun. "Everynight at sunset.. My lands turn to blood and obsidian... Hence their name.. " Rell murmured, brushing his tail against Jay's side as he trotted down the bank toward home.

Jayvyn shivered and flushed harder at the carress of that tail. He lingered at the crest, watching the lands turn red and black. Rellick was right. It was a nice sight and appealed to his mind.
Once he'd had his fill of the sight he followed the young King. The teens eyes strayed to the swaying haunches. Nice...very nice... What the-?! Where'd that come from? Jayvyn shook his head to clear the thoughts.
