Twisted continued onwards towards the watering hole, she could see a single male zebra. With his head bent down to drink, even the wind was in her favor as it blew against her, keeping her scent well hidden.
She lowered herself down, to a crouching position. Her eyes stayed glued on the beast as he lifted his head from the water. She could feel her muscles bouncing and quivering under her coat, which melted perfectly with the tall grass around her.
Launching herself forward she leaped out at the Zebra, who in turn, spun himself right around into her paws, clining onto his throat with paws and fangs she clung to him. He raced forward, up the plains, trampling on her hind leg and tail as she cut off his air way. Finally becoming tired of having her right hind leg rampled, and the pain from it she sunk her teeth into his throat and jerked her head back, ripping out his throat.
As the beast landed against the earth, she stood there. Favoring her now injured leg. Panting she glanced around, her muzzled covered with blood.
Taking the male by the back of his neck, she began to drag him back towards the cave. It took her a bit to do, this beast was heavy and her hind leg was really causing her problems.
"Just a little more.." she grunted as she could now see the cave in front of her, she took a deep breath and used up the last bit of her strength and finished dragging him to the King and Queen.
Stepping back, she continued to favor her hind leg.

Shaitani rose as he saw the wounded lioness drag the carcass toward them. "What happened?" He eyes her wound with worry, unsure of the seriousness of it.
He looked down to the dead animal, "Thank you very much," he said, then returned hi eyes to her wound, "You should probably wash that out..."

Glancing back at it, she forced it to sit properly. A faint growl moved from her chest, it wasnt at the male before her. But more at the injury. " He dragged me a bit, it was only stomped on a few times." Nodding her head, she padded a bit away she lowered to her haunched and began to groom around the wound, picking pieces of grass and twigs out of it.
He grinned back, dropping his front end into a poucing stance, he wiggled his rump into the air and gave a soft roar at the male cub, as he then jumped at him.
Stalking her, Malamis lifted a paw and swatted at her tail playfully. Wondering when she'd talk, he could talk. He caught sight of Twisted but then turned his gaze back onto Fei Rou.

Kai Liu let out a yowl of surprise as the older cub pounced him. He batted playfully at his nose, trying to get him off. "Mrr!"

Fei Rou's tail twitched, and she looked back at him. "Mrrr..." Her attention went back to the trail of ants.
Kun Yi trotted out of the cave, hearing the commotion. "Very nice kill, Twisted." Amethyst eyes went from the dead zebra to the wounded lioness. "You need a shaman."

Shaitani turned his gaze to Kun Yi with a puzzled expression set into it, "Unfortunately, we're in short supply..." His eyes returned to Twisted.

Ai Ning stood in the swamy waters at the edge of a small pond on the border of the Dragon Lands. Her four paws were completely submerged up to the wrist, but the fog that hobvered over the water came up to her chest. She helled he ears high, and listened to the sounds of the crickets and frogs, whilst her gold eyes looked out through the forest. The gentle crane-lioness stood there for a good while, debating on stepping further,...further into the land of the dragons. The travels had been long. She was an adult now. It was time to settle down within a pride. She let out a soft, yet loud roar, that complemented her gentle, and peaceful nature. She wanted to make sure the king of these lands knew she was of no threat.

"Yes I know..." The amethyst eyed Queen nuzzled her mate. "I will go look for herbs." Padding out of the clearing, she headed for the grasslands. She knew nothing of the plants that grew in the forest, only those in the grass lands and oasis.
A small bundle lay in her jaws when she heard the soft roar. A female. Alone. Dropping the cut plants, the Queen answered the roar. She was closest to the newcomer and if Shaitani had a problem with her greeting the other then he could deal with it later. Picking up the bundle yet again she trotted in the direction of the sound.

Ai Ning heard the lioness' reply, and she turned to the direction from which it came, and waited. Though she had expected to be greeted by the king, a queen was just as good.

The roar reached his ears, and he heard Kun Yi's reply. He let out his own roar, loud and powerful, telling the lioness to await his queen, and that he would be there soon. With he bowed, he looked to Twisted, "I apologize, but there are matters I must attend to." Without waiting for a reply he dashed away form the cave, bursting from the forest in the direction of the roar.

Twisted had slunked off into a corner, she really wished they wouldnt put so much effort in trying to help her. It was un needed really, with a flick of her tail she glanced at Shaitani and nodded her head. " I understand." She stood up and limped faintly to the opening of the cave, her silvery purple eyes glanced around briefly before landing on the four cubs playing, her head tilted to the side as she gave a soft smile at them.
She then glanced around, it would make her sad to leave without the boys but they were not her cubs. She loved them yes, but they held a stronger chance staying here. Shaitani and his Queen would raise them right, and it would be better this way anyways.
With a little grunt, Malamis leaped from a large rock and landed on the other side of the young prince. With a quack like roar, he pounced at the younger cub laughing. He' grown, a small mowhawk like feature had sprouted from the top of his head.
Ahti had a fondness for the small princess, he took it upon himself to watch over her silently. He watched her movements as he glanced around at everyone oddly.

Stricken with sudden worry, she turned and searched the forest floor for her two siblings, frightened that something may have happened to them.

After a long a grueling journey, Xiao stepped foot on her sister's land. She could feel it in her bones. She was closer now than ever before. She opened her mouth to announce herself with a roar, but found that her mouth was dry and parched from her travels in the savannah. She settled for yelling in hopes that her sister, or someone, would hear her. "Kun Yi!"
