Niobe lifted her head, her coat was sticky with the warm blood around her muzzle, the pink and white on her paws were stained as well. She snorted a moment, she glanced towards Kila and Mandolin, with a small smile she bowed her head. " You both did beautifully, I am not used to..putting together hunts. I am glad this went so well." She glanced down at the water.
" Hmm, Mandolin. Do you think you and Kila could, drag this home? I have another to...'speak' to." She glanced towards the other female who fattened herself. Another snort echoed out.

"Of course Niobe. We can take it from here. Take good care of the interlouper." He nodded to her and then grabbed part of the beast to drag it back to the to the others. He glanced back over his shoulder sure that she would be fine.

A leap had sent her to the thing's back, the force of her landing making it trip in its haste to get away. Obviously his immenent death had lead him to reconsider his bravery, his willingness to be away from the herd, but Mai had been there to show him the error of his ways before he could repent. Her landing hadn't been enough to break his back, but her claws tore into his shoulders as she first got her balance back, then into his neck as she clasped them in front and drug them back towards herself, severing a few arteries and veins along the way. Before he could fall and crush her, Mai lept off, secure in the knowledge that he wouldn't make it too much farther before he fell and... And was her dinner.
At least this would be a nice, warm dinner. Cold ones, leftovers, just weren't so appealing.
A few paces and the beast was down, the spark in his eyes already gone, his body reacting only on instinct and muscle twitches. Eventually he crashed to his knees and gave a few twitches, Mai right there beside him, eyes flashing with the adrenaline coursing through her body from the kill. A soundless laugh came from her jaws as she lowered her head to his neck, gently lapping at the blood still coursing out, slowly cooling.
This act, this finality, calmed the lioness and it finally hit her as to what she'd done. Not just had she just taken down a healthy, though young, zebra on her own, but.... She'd probably managed to piss of a few other lions as well. The realization of her actions flung her eyes wide as she froze and looked up and around, a drop of blood falling to stain the equine's rump.
It may very well end up a night of both dining and dieing.... Mentally she cursed herself as she tried to figure out how to lay claim to the food and survive whatever may come.

She nodded her head. "Thank you. If you have trouble, just call. I'll come." Her words were short, as she turned her frame and padded out of the water, blood softly dripped from her muzzle as she licked at the sticky warmth.
Her bright lavender eyes narrowed into tiny slits as she watched the other female bring down her kill slowly, her tail lashed through the air as she noted the herd had already fled to safety. Her white claws drew out and dug into the earth, she kneaded the land softly before she took closer steps.
Pacing back and forth behind the unknown lioness, Niobe growled. " Do you think yourself higher than others?!" she growled, her tones were icey. This lioness had foolishly put her pride in danger, sending the herd up in a frenzy, and was distrespectful to other hunters. She deserved a good twap.

She nodded as she grabbed one of the zebra's hind legs in her mouth and started dragging in through the terrain, she went as far as she could go without Mandolin's help so she wasn't interfering the confrence between Niobe and the intruder. "Mandolin." she called as her muscles strained to carry the portly zebra.

A lone male hesitated at the border of the new Pride. His wings had carried him here, and now exhausted, he sought a place to stay. The dazzling male could stay out of the borders, but something pushed him to make his presence known.
The teen's scratchy roar died out on the air. Whatever it was, he was inclined to follow. Just like a feather on the wind.

Benoni's ears caught the roar, he lifted his head. Glancing at the small cub, he wondered if he should take him to safety or bring him along. He knew the cub would follow either way, so he nodded his head towards the roar.
"Lets go see who calls us now.." His tones were dark now, guarded and gruff as he walked at a fast rate towards the unknown male. Benoni's tail waved out behind him like a warning flag, he carried himself proudly as he soon caught sight of the male.

The teen merely sat at the border. The large multi-colored wings flexed, trying to keep the sore shoulder muscles from seizing up. He had flown too long on weak muscle. His folly.
The Pheonix raised his head when he caught the scent of the other grown male. Standing, he performed a sweeping bow, muzzle touching his chest.

The grey male took over the weight of the beast. "Easy now. Don't try too hard." He smiled at her and then shifted the beast so that he could carry it by the neck back to the cave. His gentleeyes looked back at Kila to make sure she was alright and still following him. After all Niobe would be able to deal with whoever it was that had disrespected them. In the distance he heard the call of another male and wondered who it was this time.

His dark lavender eyes scanned the male, his tail lowered and swayed softly. His eyes then darted to the cub not to far behind him. The scent of blood hung in the air, as he drew a deep breath he noted it quietly, hoping none of his pride was injured.
"What brings you to these lands?" he asked as he brought his attention back to the young male, he awaited an answer.

After they had brought the food back to the den she had heard a brief roar announcing a prescence and what was strange was that it was male. Kila hadn't heard of other males joining prides, maybe that was just an unique thing back in her lands. Curious, she walked to the borders and found Benoni and sure enough a male. Kila's blood tainted muzzle and paws crept from the elephant grasses wondering what was going on.

Benoni's ears flickered at the sound of another creeping up, his flakes shivered with the same knowlegde. He nodded his head to the young male. "Your welcome to rest, though you must stay out of the cave. Your welcome to join us for our meal as well." He tried to keep the growl out of his tone, but it was useless.
Turning his powerful frame, he made room so that the male could pass him. He glanced towards Kila, his brow arched faintly as he small smile pressed the corners of his mouth. She was interesting indeed.

Tequila's ears flickered as the King turned to her, she hadn't heard the conversation and she hadn't planned to either for it would be some what rude. "Is everything alright my King?" she asked in a bit of an innocent tone.
Her azure orbs glanced to his and then to the stranger. Her tail flickering anxiously awaiting the Kings reply, for her to leave or to stay possibly another task for her to do that he needed done. Her eyes shown brightly with loyalty however she hadn't gotten into one of her 'moods' yet.

" Everything is well. Dont fret." He smiled at her as he awaited the strange one to move forward. He wasnt sure about her yet, but she was loyal and that was a pleasant thought, she was a beautiful young lioness, he dreaded the day males came across the land to claim her heart.
He grinned to himself, he would be ready to defend her and his land. His tail flickered behind him as he glanced at her once more, her and his sister would be..pawfulls once all knew they were there. Niobe, he paused his brows knit together. "Kila, where is Niobe?" he asked, his tones growing cold.
