Now that that has been cleared, I have a question about Zaku III...Why is there a limited amount of them?

Major Seita A. Yukihari Now that that has been cleared, I have a question about Zaku III...Why is there a limited amount of them? I was under the impression that the Doven Wolf beat it to production. This here's off MAHQ: MAHQ As the First Neo Zeon War raged on, the Neo Zeon military continued its development of new and more powerful mobile suits. Two competing designs were produced as potential new mass-production frontline units: the AMX-011 Zaku III and the AMX-014 Doven Wolf. The intention of the Zaku III's design was that it would be a new decendant of the old Principality of Zeon's venerable (and highly versatile) MS-05 Zaku and MS-06 Zaku II lines. The Zaku III featured a modular construction design, enabling armor, the backpack, and other components to be changed out and customized pursuant to the current mission role. Despite its high performance and versatility, however, the Zaku III design lost out to the more contemporary Doven Wolf. As a result, the Zaku III saw only limited production, with this handful of prototype often operated by high-ranking officers or ace pilots.

Zaku got the last laugh though. When the Geara Doga and the Doven Wolf were all but forgotten, the Zaku line got a new lease on life when the Oldsmobile Army built RF Zakus.

It's a shame the Doven Wolf's weren't furthered later on in history.. that was a darn good design itself. *drools over unbuilt Doven Wolf model*

eldin706 What I would have to say is the Freedom or wing gundan custum. gonk ******** man, LEARN TO SPELL.... When you can't spell GUNDAM right, there is something seriously wrong with you, seeing as it's the name of the particular franchise you're claiming to be a fan of. And As for spelling CUSTOM wrong when it's written on just about every one of the EW model kit boxes... I weep for the next generation. I really do.

Since everyone (directing to the winger/seeds) is kinda just randomly blabbing their favorite, I might as well join in...(laugh)
The best (in my personal opinion) is GM there's no comparison (and don't say GM's not a gundam, it's a mass production version of gundam). It could be quickly mass produce, it works well with Ball, and there's just about every type of spec mod version of it (and many's performence actually surpass those of gundam class) . what's not to like.

GM? GM? Taken from 0083. "GM Custom Mass Production Type. Remarkable for being totally unremarkable..." And I think this picture illustrates the point further:
