Hello! My name is Emily and I have been playing the violin for about 6 years now. I like both classical and contemporary music. I learned with the Suzuki method. I can alos play, not as well, the viola, clarinet and oboe. But I prefere the violin.
I'm 18 years old, and I live in Ontario.
I'm also very into art, painting, sketching and the like, so I have drawn some pictures of my violin.
I used to play in an orchestra for young players, but it didn't last laong beacuse no one else there was really serious besides me, and I play in my strings class at school.

My name is Johanna, obviously, I am 16 years old and I live in North Carolina. I have yet to start playing the violin, it should be arriving in the mail soon. I can't wait.
I have played some other instruments but I am no professional in any of those. I did take guitar lessons for a year but it didn't work out too well. I play mostly by sound but I can read notes.
The most professional thing I have ever done was sing in a choir, a homeschool one. I know that it sounds bad but we were very good. I don't like choir much though, I prefer singing solo and more upbeat music.

I've been playing the violin for 8 yrs. & don't play much more - I can play a little bit of piano, but it takes me forever to learn a piece. I don't really have a favorite type of music but I do like pretty much everything except Country. I've been in a youth, community, middle school, high school, & will be joining my university orchestra in the fall. I've never been in a band but I've had some awesome oppurtunites with the violin. Recently, I got to tour 3 days with Intocable biggrin (a Spanish band) & will do the last 3 days with them. It's been wonderful 'coz I met Pablo Montero & saw Jennifer Pena & Pepe Aguilar in concert w/ them!!! I prefer Classical style (it's what I mainly study) and also love Mariachi. Anyway, I'm done answering questions for now!

Hello all! I'm Carrot (well, that's my online name) and i'm 15 (16 in a month!) and live in London. England. I've been playing the violin for 6 years now, and loving it. It's been a great way of meeting new people, via different orchestras and ensembles. I also play the piano, which i am much better at having learnt it for an extra 3 years
Currently, i'm teaching piano to beginners (just finished a lesson) as well as working on teaching myself the guitar...
*tries to think of something else interesting about herself* umm...i'll get back to you on that
i have one question...where is Honolulu and why is it a great place to live. Not that it wouldn't be...it's just i got the impression it was someplace special
i'm sorry...i'm a Brit. you will get accoustomed to my, what sounds to you, stupid questions

Actually... I've never been to New Zealand or Hawaii so I have no ******** clue what I'm talking about.you got it all right except for the wild horses. unfortunately there are no wild horses. my horse was captured on the mainland. and i've never been to new zealand, so i can't say, but i think that it's a bit colder. i'd like to go to london and wear a trench coat!

I think you're talking about the other native islands, but you don't have to listen to me. sweatdrop

I've been playing violin for four years now, and find myself completely passionate about it. As of two years ago, I play guitar, and roughly four months ago, I began cello. I love every one of my instruments. mrgreen

Hi! I'm a 25-year-old guy from Finland, studying music theater student at the moment. But don't let that fool you, since I've played the violin for over 20 years now. I stopped studying it when I was 17, but I still play it every now and then, or whenever needed for a gig or something like that. I also play the piano and now my concentration goes fully to singing. ^^
I've played in several different student orchestras and also in professional orchestras. I've also had a chance to be part in different band productions and also do recordings if my friends have been in a need of a violin for their demo CDs. The last classical piece that I've actually seriously played was Tshaikowsky's Violin Concerto. Also Sarasate's Zigeunerweisen has always been close to my heart, being the last piece I performed as a solo violinist while still studying...

Hello, I'm Lumicran. And now, I'll follow that spiffy intro thing...
I've been playing the violin for about seven years, and this is my eigth.
I took piano classes last year- meaning, I've been playing piano for about a year.
I like all kinds of music. I don't listen by "group", I just...listen.
I'm not working on any... redface Not talented enough.
Yes-in fact, I am in my school orchestra right now.
