I should have posted here a long time ago!!!. I believe it's been over a year at this point. ah, how time flies when you spend endless hours reading Stephen King books . . . *stares off dreamily*
Like I said, i should have posted here earlier, seeing as how I'm such an intricate part of thid guild, imho. hehehe wink yes I'm full of myself. I've donated more gold than anyone else except Istari, and I used to have the highest post count except one person, but no more crying
you sloths should post more! I'm tired of coming here and seeing 4 out of the top 6 newest posts being from myself all the time! xp xp xp

favorite books: Desperation, The Gunslinger (and all other DT books)
reason: Desperation was awesome and creepy (and had that badass girl), and the Gunslinger over the other DTs because it's an awesome world and the Tower is awesome, but in Gunslinger, you can make out shadows of what King originally wanted the series to be, and I think it paints a much better picture (the palaver is awesome).
Extra: I'm 15, and surrounded by brain-washed reality TV junkies hopelessly following the propaganda (hope i spelled that right) of the age. fu*kin lemons!!

Favorite SK Book: The Long Walk and Desperation
Why: The Long Walk was my first King book so I think that's why I love it so much. While reading Desperation i just couldn't put it down, and I was actually on vacation on the beach.
Other random stuff: I'm 15 and live in California. I want a career in psychiatry or psychology, I haven't decided, but my dream job will always be to become an author and/or a fashion designer.

Hi all!
I'm YGOPaladin, and uh, my favorite SK book is the Long Walk which is closely seconded by the entire dark tower series. (The BEST series ever)
The man is a crazy genius, pure and simple. He must have all kinds of nuttiness rumaging around in his head at all hours of the day and night. Love it!

Favorite SK book: DT series, Roadwork and Bag of Bones
Why: My first book was "The Gunslinger", but I have yet to finish the series. I love "Bag of Bones" because of the way everything ties together and in the end, everything just made sense and came into place, much like "Roadwork".

Why: They're like yer kids, you love 'em all. Plus I find Kings writing hugely enjoyable

Otherwise I can't really say. Favorite Richard Bachman Book: The Long Walk Why that RB?: When you are TOLD what the tickets are, who in their right mind would still participate?! First SK Book: Tommyknockers--read it in 4th grade because I had a small habit of finishing books the same day I checked them out of the library and the teacher got mad sweatdrop Other stuffs: I write short stories (if you visit, click on the stories tab along the top), draw an online comic, and am a Potter / LOTR / Star Wars / Vampire Chronicles fan. Oh, and one more thing: I have a book by Stanley Wiater, Christopher Golden, & Hank Wagner entitled The Stephen King Universe that I'm going to skim through this weekend (I've already read it once) that I may post as a topic (if it's ok with the crew)

Name: The Otaku Goddess aka Samantha or Sam Favorite SK Book: I don't really have a fave, I like all the ones that I've read!!! Although the DT series is awesome. And I really liked Needful Things and Desecration. Why: Because those books are cool! I like awesome characters that kick a**! And they are all bloody and has funny sexual humor....eh, ignore that last one. Other random stuff: Well, I'm 18. Going to college. I'm a big fan of Asian....well, anything. I'm half Asian and half Scottish. I love my damn heritage!!! I prefer Asian dramas, music, clothes, anime etc. mrgreen

Why: DT books: Just loved the way everything tied together; IT: The characters were some of the most believable characters I've ever read.

Hello everyone!
I'm glad to see the guild with so many members... welcome!
I'm just posting a quick update for those of you who remember me.
Things are going well, my husband graduated with his Bachelor's, we've moved halfway across the country, and my due date is Dec. 8th... so, any day now. Aaaaany day now.
Hurry the freak up, kiddo!
I hope to have a little free time soon, so you guys may be seeing more of me.
