Kyoko slowly dropped his fist... "So that's the brat eh? Little tattle tale.." He sighed. "The boss ain't gonna be happy with that." Someone from a distant tables calls for some food and Kyoko sweat drops. "Oh no, I was suppose to get a him a drink 10 minutes ago." He runs off in a hurry forgetting his encounter with Demia.

Nekala watches Kyoko run off as she opens her pepsi. She sits down on the seat next to Umeko. Nekala takes a sip of her drink and feels the liquid in her dry throat.

Umeko looked over at Nekala. She smiled. "You were good up there. I really enjoyed your song before my turn came up." The girl had only heard a little more than half the song, but she already knew that Nekala was good. She did work here after all. "So, why do you like to sing?" Umeko asked, trying to start a conversation. She didn't want to sit around there doing nothing.

Nekala smiled. "Thank you." she said. "You were great too, I enjoyed hearing you." Nekala thought for a moment, finally she found an answer to Umeko's last question. "I love to sing because it makes me feel free. Singing calms me down when I'm nervous and even lifts my spirits when I feel depressed." she giggled. "Besides, it is rather fun." Nekala paused for a moment. "How about you?" she asked.

"Thanks," Umeko chimed. "Let's see. Why do I sing?" A minute of silence passed by before Umeko finally answered. "I would have to say I sing because I love to do it. It's fun to get up there on the stage and do something that I love. It's a great experience. I also like how the audience feels. If they like it, then I can be happy too." She paused to think a moment. "Also, I think that you can learn from it a bit. You can learn to get over stage freight and stuff."

Nekala nodded in agreement to Umeko's reasons. "I agree, after a while stage fright seems to just dissapear. The first time I sang on stage I got so nervous that my voice was shaky and breathy." she said, starting to giggle just a little from the momory. "But after singing for a while an audience doesn't bother me anymore."

"Yeah," Umeko agreed. "I remember when I was first up on stage like this. I was so nervous I dropped the mike right onto the stage. After I picked it up, I was so embarassed, but I decided to stay up there, so I tried it out. I just focused on my friends who were sitting at a table nearby. My friends teased me about that forever though." She laughed. "Though I guess I deserved it, but I know what you mean. Sometimes you forget that the audience is there. You just get so caught up in what you're doing at the time."

Nekala smiled and nodded. "Yes, whenever you're on stage... it's as if the rest of the world melts around you. I love the feeling, just a singer and the mike."

"One of the great pleasures of being a singer," Umeko chirped. "Though, it's sorta a bad thing too. You don't notice if something's happening or something, but then again, sometimes its just good to let the world melt away around you." She looked up at the ceiling with a smile on her face. "I've felt that too many times. It really makes you forget everything around you and then you don't notice if someone's calling. That's happened to me me before."

Nekala laughed softly. "Yes, that's happened to me on many occations..." she said with a smile. "...even when I'm not singing. My friends think I'm spacey and I'll never live it down."

"Finally all the orders are filled" Kyoko said and sighed. "No word from the boss yet, better enjoy it while i can.." He then walks towards the singers. "Hey, you guys take request?" He said
