The Doom Merchant Meacorme Meh. I wouldn't kill Scyther.
Don't get me wrong. Scyther is really a kickass Pokemon, despite me giving you a bad time.
It's just not my favorite. I had the blue version and Scyther would never let me catch it.

And you know you could always fly to Cinnabar and surf on the coast to fight him there after leaving the Safari Zone? :B
That reminds me. You know Pokemon in the newer games have assigned genders?
Well, some are [or at least were] obviously supposed to be male in the originals. The thought of a female Charizard or a female Scyther freaks me out.
I wanted to get a gun and shoot the TV. gonk
