I was shocked that they released wings for the back. Seriously shell shocked. Having said that, it is curious to note that recent (05 and late 04) letters that were increasing in price have dropped again after this release of new items. The wings themselves have also dropped after the first day, unlike what I remeber of the kiki kitty, it stayed high for a few days.
I would be curious to see what happens if/when the butterfly wings reach the 40k mark. Will they be stagnant there as people decide between fairy and butterfly wings? The spider is a very interesting idea, and the way the two relate is fairly interesting. I dont think any other donation letter had two items that complemented each other in it.
I wondered about when the wings reached around 40k if people would be hesitant to buy them and just go for fairy wings instead, too. o.o; It's interesting to think about. I'd like to think that maybe it'd plateau for a while, but eventually climb, just for the sake of it's a donation letter and eventually it'll be old and desired and climb past 40k. Eventually, perhaps.
xp And yeah, I was a little shocked they released wings, too. I always thought they were going to hold off on wings til that big questymajigger. Guess these aren't solely wings, since they have the cloak-like function too .. but yeah.
