Naida was laying across a sun-warmed rock, her head on her paws, watching the two cubs wrestling and giggling just a little ways from her. She out a sigh of contentment only to be startled by a scream that could only be Adia's. Turning, she saw Santos running from the lake towards the cave, and hoped all was well as she got up to herd the cubs to someplace less open, just in case there was danger. When she heard no more after awhile, and dusk began to form in the sky, she walked with the cubs back to the den, grateful they remained blistfully unaware of danger that just might or might not be lurking nearby.
Sniffing the air, she approached the entrance slowly, instructing the cubs to walk behind her just in case. She was still pretty edgy from hearing the scream, and knew the cub's lives were in her paws. Pausing just slightly before the entrance she called out, "Santos? Adia?"

Nimbus was completely confused by Naida's sudden caution. "What's going on?" he asked in a whisper, not sure if this situation called for his silence. He did as Naida said and walked behind her, peeking out into the cave. What was going on?
Santos watched the cubs and his mate sleep peacefully. How beautiful they were. It startled him some to hear Naida call out for him. He didn't want to yell so insted he parted his lips and let a soft roar rumble through the cave. It was not harsh and loud and so it would not wake the sleeping ones, but the rocky walls would carry it to the entrance.

Pausing, she turned to put her paw on Nimbus's head, both to reassure him, and quiet him just in case. Hearing a soft roar, she relaxed a little and said, "I think everything is okay...just stay close, okay?" she whispered, patting his head gently and starting once more into the cave. Still slightly cautious, she led the now completely bewildered cubs towards the back where she's seen Adia set up a nest of sorts of soft grass. Sniffing softly, she could sense the tang of blood in the air, and hoped she was making a good choice in leading the cubs back here...
Poking her head around a corner, she smiled as she spied Santos and Adia together, the lioness obviously asleep. "Is everything....Oh! Nimbus, Yiska...come see. We have company." Stepping aside, she let the cubs in past her to see the newest arrivals.

Nimbus kept close to Naida's heels as they walked on. He still had no clue what was going on butit was starting to scare him. It was a huge releif when she relaxed and let thecubs inside the bed chamber. "Company? Who~ CUBS!" He squealed.
Santos smiled and nodded his head to Adia. When Nimbus squealed out he raised a paw to his lips and rested a single claw against them. "Shhhh.. We mustn't wake them or your mother," he whispered lovingly.

Adia shifted slightly in her sleep as Naida, Nimbus and Yiska entered and let out a light sigh before going still again.

Naida motioned for Yiska to come in last, because she thought it'd be best of Nimbus was the first to see his little brother and sister. He'd given her a very quizzical look but obeyed, though he didn't understand why, and followed quickly on Nimbus's heels. His excited whoop was cut quickly short by both Santos's motion and Naida quickly covering his mouth with her paw.
"Sorry," Naida murmured as she kept a hold of the squirming excited cub, afraid he'd wake Adia up. "I would of come back sooner, but I was afraid something had happened to Adia and to you...I didn't want to bring the cubs back till I thought things were safe. I'm glad they are, and congrats!"

"It's fine. I honestly didn't expect you to come so quickly. And I thank you for being so protecting of the cubs," he said, nodding his head. He watched Arsenic once again become a little active and crawl ontop of his sister, who was bigger than him.
Nimbus crawl onto his father's head and looked down at his new siblings. "I have a little brother and sister now!" he whispered excitedly.

All the voices echoing through the cave seemed to finally get to Adia as her eyes slowly opened and she peered at Naida and Yiska standing in the cave. "Hello." She said in a softer voice than normal. The yip from baby Daveigh made Adia look down and giggle seeing Daveigh with Arsenic's ear in her mouth while Arsenic was on top of her.

Seeing Adia was now awake, Naida released her hold on Yiska and moved a step or two to the side before sitting down and admiring the family. She felt like an outsider, that she didn't belong here, and once more she felt that now familiar feeling of longing pang at her once again. "They're beautiful," she murmured as she watched the newest ones wrestling a little. "So beautiful..."
Yiska, finally free, trotted up closer to get a better look at the new kits. "Hey...they look just like you guys!"

Adia yawned as she lounged just outside the pride cave with her darling Daveigh who seemed to be introducing her self to the local lizards roaming the rocks around the cave entrance. The afternoon was warm and fairly peaceful making it a rather boring day for the royal pair. Santos and Arsenic were... around though where she'd lost track when she'd fallen asleep not long ago. The time of day was even illuding her at the moment. It could have still been morning for what she knew.
Daveigh stalked through the grass towards a large rock that she could see just ahead where a large green lizard was perched sunning himself. She moved with the silence of death until she was inches from the large green lizard. The lizard gave a large sigh and turned it's head slightly. It's little beady eye focused upon Daveigh for a moment and then the lizard bolted from the rock. Daveigh lunged and missed as the lizard disappeared between two larger rocks nearby. With a sigh Daveigh plopped down on the rock the lizard had been occupying and looked over to her mother still in front of the cave entrance.

Naida trotted with Karounos near the lake right along the border of the lands. Her mind raced as she wondered if she should just bring him to the cave, but then realized that'd be stupid and Karounos would be mistaken for a threat to the cubs. Stopping, she gave as loud a roar as she could to call the rest of her pride together upon the border.

Karounos pawed at the ground, growing more nervous each moment he stood there beside Naida. He had never ventured near a pride, let alone into one. But when he heard Kaida roar, he had a feeling he wouldn't be allowed to step inside the boundries... Apparently, one had to be accepted, first... Or so he gathered, anyway.

Santos was sitting above the cave on a rather large rock with his son keeping an eye on the lands. Arsenic was rather quiet and didn't play much, but there was no problem with that. He had left Nimbus with his sister, because they could play with eachother, but he wasn't sure Nimbus had stayed with them.
His eyes-widened as he heard the roar and without warning he leaped from rock to rock, heading down off the top of the cave and towards the lake. Everytime a pride member roared the worst feeling blew up inside him.
Arsenic looked over the lands. He felt so small compared to the rest of the world. But considering he was the smaller kit of the two, he had a reason to feel that way. He sat atop his fathers head, pratically swallowed by the black mane. He was the prince, he was the white rose of Rose Petal.
As his father bolted off he layed down lower to be sure not to fall off. He had heard the roar and was expecting it. The wind rushed through his flakes as they headed towards Naida. Why had she called?
Nimbus was in pouncing distance of his mother. His bum was in the air and his head was close to the ground. A devilish smirk spread across his face and he pushed himself into a leap. Paws sprawled to the sides, claws sheathed, he flew towards Adia. Landing on her back, he quickly ran up to her head and tugged on his ear, giggling madly. He hadn't heard the roar.

Adia nearly leapt out of her skin as Santos and Arsenic appeared from above and Nimbus landed on her back. "Oh! Nimbus! You scared me." She said with a sheepish and still startled laugh.
Daveigh looked out towards the lake as she heard Naida's roar. Quickly she stood and ran over to Adia and Nimbus. "Mommy Naida calls!" She said as she climbed onto her mothers back with Nimbus. "Let's go!" She exclaimed and jumped up and down wanting to follow after her father and brother to see what the commotion was all about.
Adia looked back at Nimbus and Daveigh. "You expect me to carry you both?" She asked and then sighed as she slowly stood finding it a little hard on her back but not as bad as she expected to carry both cubs. "Hold on." She said as she bolted from the cave entrance and followed after Santos at a fast paced trot.

Naida glanced over at Karounos and laid one of her paws on his. "Don't worry so much, this is only a formality since I don't want them to think of you as a threat to the cubs. Santos and Adia are very accepting of other lions...you'll be fine." She gave him a reassuring smile just as she saw Santos bolting towards them out of the corner of her eye with Adia trotting not too far behind.
Standing, she bowed towards the approaching figures, more because she wanted Karounos to make a good impression and to be an example for him since he hadn't spent much time around others. As they came to a stop, she began to speak. "Santos, Adia, Nimbus, Daveigh, Arsenic....I would like you to meet Karounos. He has asked to visit our pride with me for a time."
