[[LBC wants to get this role play over with... it's taking waaaaaaaay too long, and I have another agenda with Afu and Issa...]]

Afu grinned. "Thats becasue I'm an adult, and you're still a kit." Kit. His thoughts wandered to when he was a kit himself, and his first encounter with his Lady love, Issaria. How was she? Did she know he was thinking of her? He wished to return home so he could see her. He looked out at the horizon, looking for his mother. When would they leave? Would they get approval, or go home without it? Afu thought his grandfather to be rather... hardheaded....

Shairi had wandered out in search of her little sister, but with Casai's scent lingering everywhere she had been, it was a difficult task. Shairi's mind wandered to Adrastos. Was he thinking of her? Or had he forgotten her all together. And Achilles... how was her baby boy? He had found his love, and they were together, but would she miss their departure in her desire to get her father's approval? She sighed aloud before callingout again, "Casai! Dearest little one, where are you?"

Kichea's ears twitched as she lay in slumbler. She was waking, and she already knew something was wrong. She raised her head, blinking her crimson eyes sleepily. She first saw Afu, her grandson via her eldest daughter, Shairi. He was large, and impressive. She was proud of her daughter, and the idea that she was in love pleased her. Kichea was definitly more supportive of her children than her mate, but she would never let Akin know that...

Her eyes then found her daughter, Nasseken. So little, and yet so much more responsible than she was when she was little. And her little Casai... whom... was missing? And where was Shairi? She sat up abruptly. "Where is Casai? And Shairi?"

Nasseken looked to her mother, "I am not quite sure where Casai is and Shairi went looking for her." she looked to her honestly. "Afu and I are waiting her to see if our dearest travler is to return here." she peered at her mother wondering what she was going to do.

"Casai is missing?" Kichea almost felt her heart stop, and then a calm swept over her. "Shairi will find her." Shairi must find her. Out of all her daughters, Shairi was always the most responsible, as well as the most headstrong... not counting Casai's mischievious nature, that is.

Afu nodded. "Mother will find Casai." He repeated his grandmother's words with confidence.

When the ripples cleared, Casai looked into the water, not beleive what she was seeing. She was not herself.. or rather, herself was not the her it was moments before. She had grown. And she loved it! She felt so tall, and graceful... She stretched her lithe body and purred. She was an adult now! She wanted to know if her sister had grown... She turned sharply, and was face to face with Shairi.

Shairi shrieked, startled by the lioness... who strongly resembled her sister... heck... it was her little sister! Shairi coughed, trying to regain her composure. "Look at you! You've grown!" She was happy for her sister, but then the panic she had felt earlier set in again and her voice was now scolding. "Casai! You shouldn't sneak off like that! You worried us all half to death! You'd better hope that mother and father didn't wake while we were gone!"

Casai's head fell, and she nodded. "I'm sorry... I just wanted to go out for a little bit..." She might have been in an adult body, but Casai still had alot to learn. "Let's go back before they wake..."

Nass looked to her mother, "Of course she'll find Casai, mother." she smiled reassuringly. She wasn't independent in fact more dependent than anything but she could always fill responsible shoes for ones feelings and encouragement.

Afu turned his attentions to the opening of the cave and grinned. "See? Here they come now..."

Moments later, Casai and Shairi entered the cave, Casai taking the lead. "Lookie! Look at me!" She exclaimed, thinking the worst was over.

Afu laughed. "I guess I do have to call you Aunt now, huh?"

Casai snorted. "Yes you do!"

Kichea sighed aloud. "Casai, it's not right for you to be wandering off like that! What if something had happened to you?" She shook her head then looked up. "You look beautiful daughter." She then turned to Shairi, "Thank you for finding her."

Shairi nodded. "No problem. I'd do it for anyone."

Afu watched silently, inwardly wishing to go home. He was going to tell his mother about Issaria on their way home... and he wished to retrieve her before they returned.

Nass looked to her sister...her BIGGER sister. "How'd...." she shook her head. "Oh well," she looked to her small paws and cursed herself for still being small. She looked to Afu who seemed to have roaming thoughts. She wasn't one to ask what was on one's mind.

Shairi noticed Nass's dismay and nudged her. "You'll grow up in time... and then Daddy's going to have to beat to boys off of you." She giggled, glad that Kichea wasn't too mad, and that her father hadn't woken yet. She then noticed her son. He seemed to be distracted... "Afu... may I talk with you?"

Afu snapped out of his thoughts and nodded. "Oh! Yes. Of course, mother." He stood, knowing instictively that she meant alone.

"Please excuse us, mother." Shairi said to her own mother as she escorted her son out of the den.

Casai's eyes followed them, wondering aloud. "Wonder what's up there..."

"Of course, daughter. Take your time." She was proud of her daughter, and wished her the best, but knowing both her and her mate... the best would be the worst for one of them.

Shairi looked to Afu as soon as they were out of hearing range. "What ails you? You've been distracted..."

Afu snorted at the perception of his mother. "Oh... well.. you know how... well.. Achilles has Aelita?"

Shairi's pink eyes opened wide. "You... you like Aelita as well?"

"No!" Afu replied agast with the idea. Yes, Aelita was a friend, but only a friend... "No... I... I've met a lioness... her name is Issaria... and I rather like her alot..."

"Oh!" Shairi smiled, and blushed at her mistake. She was releived that her sons didn't like the same lioness... that would spell disaster for sure. Then it hit her. "You're distracted because you're here with me, on your father's orders, and you want to be with her, in Achilles' position... am I right?"

Afu nodded solemnly. He didn't want to leave his mother here alone... but he dearly wanted to be with Issaria.

"Then let us depart."

"Huh?"

"My father keeps me from being happy... but he will not keep my son from his happiness. I will tell my mother of the news, and we will leave within the hour."

"Thank... thank you mother..."

"No need to thank me, Afu." She replied nonchalantly as she turned and led the way back to the cave.

Nass looked To Kichea, "Momma, what is happening?" she asked watching as Afu and Shairi started to come back. She went to sit by her mother's leg, she was so confused. Her orbs peered to Kichea and then to the outside.

Kichea looked down at Nass. "I'm not entirely sure... but I'm sure Shairi will tell us."

Casai nodded in agreement. "Somethings gotta be happening... Shairi tells us everything..."

Shairi entered the den, smiling. "It seems that I must cut this visit short... Afu has matters he must attend to... and I wont hold him from his love..." She said with a grin as she met her mother's gaze.

Casai jumped up, looking at her nephew. "You're in LOVE?"

Afu looked sheepish for a moment, nodding. "Yes... I am..."

Nass giggled wildly, "My nephew is in loooove." She thought it was a bit hysterical that she was his aunt but now he was planning on having his own cublets? That was funny, "I wish you the best of luck," she nodded.

Afu smiled at his little aunt. "Thank you, Nasseken."

Kichea smiled softly and cast an endearing look to her sleeping mate. "Ah. Young love." This whole situation made her feel rather old... "I wish you both the best as well..."

Casai giggled with Nass, then paused, thinking of an idea. She was an adult now, and she wanted to see the world. Would... would she be allowed? She kept the idea to herself, wanting to talk to Nass about it.

Shairi smiled, glad that her mother understood. "I'll miss you, mother... and Casai, Nass, you too..." She nuzzled all three of them. "If you're ever in the area... you know where we are... you'd be more than welcom for a visit..."

Casai grinned at the invite. "Maybe for longer..." She mumbled to herself as she looked to Nass with an eager glow in her eyes.

"We will see eachother again..." Kichea said with a confidence only she could muster.
