Dioko smirked a bit as she levitated herself outside, shooting some red electric orbs at him, hitting him several times and shocking him badly. "Zuno, why did you attack me hmm? You must of known about me...Though it matters not, I shall kill you either way!" She shouted as she appeared above him and delivered a hard electric blow down on him, smashing him into the ground. She stood besides his body, unharmed, "now...Zuno do you have any last words?" She asked mockingly as she began to charge up a large red electric orb, this one would probably have more than 1,000volts and that would be more than enough to kill him.

"Gotcha Robin," Cyborg responded as he went back to work, though it was hard to concentrate with what was going on outside, but he knew the team could handle it...he hoped. "Maybe," he thought, "this guy's got the stuff, he seems sincere but I don't know. What I really can't understand is how he's even conscious with this thing attached, I'll just have to remove it and build a new one, I'll let him wake up in a minute after I remove this piece of junk. No point in him being out while I build the new equipment."

A few minutes later, Cyborg's tiny, precise surgical tools, usually used to repair his own electronics had removed the arm and all its piece from Denorian's body, he then patched the arm up so he would bleed out.

Finally he injected Denorian with a revitalizing serum. Denorian slowly awakened he went to reach his right arm with his left but found nothing. He looked down and saw his bandaged arm. "Cy...Cyborg, waa...what gives?" Denorian slurred through the sedatives that were still letting go.

"Don't worry man, I didn't see any point in keeping you under while I built you a new arm."

"A...a newww arrm?" Denorian was still confused, but the strangest thing was there was no pain...his hazy brain tried to make some sense of it.

"Yeah, a new one, I don't want to leave any trace of Slade's work on you, his tech has the bad habit of cause more trouble than one thinks possible."

"Well that's good...hey Cyborg...there's no more pain...there's no more pain." Denorian almost laughed as the realization brought him back through the haze and back to normal.

"Yeah man, I glad, now to work. Oh and stay in here, there's a little trouble outside I don't want you wandering around, especially cause you're still woozy."

Denorian sat back down, wondering what kind of trouble, not matter he knew the Titans could handle it, "Yeah sure."

Robin caught Raven as Grim just glared at Dioko. Beast Boy looked eager to charge but Grim saw this and held his arm out.

Raven slowly stood to her feet. She began to walk back to where she was. She unwrapped her cloak exposing her hair. She took off one of her gloves and showed Dioko. "It's a curse mark. Mine is defective because my father is not in this dimension."

At this, Grim knelt down and ripped what was left of Zuno's shirt. Zuno, was drifting in and out of consiousness at this point.

On his chest, was a symbol, similar to Ravens but indestinctively was an S in the center of it.

Grim, Robin, and Raven said in unison, although shocked, "Slade."

At the mention of the name, ZUno jolted a little and the sybol faintly glowed and dimmed back to normal. Zuno's eyes were now open, and looking with fear at Dioko.

Dioko knew that symbol as well for Slade was in a way her uncle, her father was friends with him before she was born thus he became an uncle. He was also the one that helped her father make Dioko, so he knew how to bring her out as well. "Uncle Slade....I should of known...." She replied softly as her aura began to fade away and Keiko regained control, "I'm....Sorry Zuno... I didn't mean for Dioko to hurt you... I'm also sorry for what my uncle did to you...." She sighed and gently placed her hand on his body as a red aura overcame it, his wounds sealed up and he looked good as new.

Keiko sighed, it was starting up again. Though she decided it was best not to get involved this time and walked over to Raven healing her too before draging Grim away from Zuno, so the fight wouldn't start all over again. "Grim....Just ignore him okay? I mean why do you care so much about uncle Slade anyway..he always does that, he takes one person and trains them up but when he tires of them or they beat him up he gets a new one. Just ask Robin...He used to work for uncle Slade until he beat him up and saved him and his friends lives."

"No, nothing personal." A haunted look passed over Denorian's eyes but quickly passed. "About three months ago I was walking back to my street when a black van pulled up beside me, it went dark and the next thing I knew I was strapped to a table staring out at nineteen strangers strapped to tables."

Denorian paused a moment as he remembered each of those people's faces, though he didn't know their names, he knew their souls from the pain they endured.

Cyborg momentarily put his tools down and looked at Denorian, the guy had pulled his legs up to his chin and had his one arm wrapped around them, "Hey Denorian, you don't have to if you don't want to."

Denorian barely heard him through the screams in his head, slowly he closed that door off in his mind and continued on with his story.

"The tables were arranged in a circle and in the middle stood Slade...he told us all that we would join his army, some of us said no, some cried, some fainted. Slade merely chuckled before walking away. From the darkness outside of the circle of tables came three doctors, a table with wicked tools and one of Slade's robot henchmen."

Cyborg had stopped working completely as he sat riveted by Denorian's tale, the worst part was that he knew how the tale would end, but he let Denorian finish it, Raven had told him is was best for people to come to terms with their inner demons rather than just bottle them up.

"One by one they carried us to the table, one by one they attached part after part to their bodies, the entire time we were conscious, some crap he gave us kept us awake as he made us watch. So much blood, so much blood." Denorian was shivering now with the memory.

"One by one we each died, our bodies couldn't handle the strain, Slade treated the doctors if they didn't succeed with me, as I was the last, he would put them on the table himself. I was dragged screaming to that table, I couldn't break their grips, I think I broke my old arm struggling so much, they held me down as they strapped me in." Denorian paused a moment to sob, his tears running freely, nothing stopping their flow. "They cut the old one off like it was a piece of dead meat, I felt it go through the flesh, then the bones and the nerves...oh God the nerves, then I feel the blade go out the other side. Then they attached that...that...device," he motioned weakly towards the old one on Cyborgs desk.

Denorian sat there crying for several minutes, unashamed to even in front of the stranger, he poured his heart out to this tin man. He finally halted the tears and looked at Cyborg, his red rimmed eyes burned, "That's why I want to join the Titans, I though because I would make Miss Ann proud, but its not that, I need to rest those nineteen souls to rest and make sure nothing like this could ever happen again."

"Well we'll see about that." Robin said as he made his presence known in the doorway. He walked over to Cyborg, who had turned to wipe 'something' from his eye. "Becoming a Titan is hard work...but with your history...I think you can hack it..."

"With training from me, right?" Cyborg said as he got a little excited.

"Right." Robin said as he looked at the old robo arm with slade's signature S on the inside where the nerves conected.

Back on the rooftop, Zuno and Beast Boy sat on the edge.

"Is your head okay?" Beast Boy said as he remembered him holding his head when he was healed.

"Yea...just another relapse." he said as he stripped his torn shirt off, revealing his abs as he placed his orange vest back on.

On the ground, Grim and Keiko were still there. "Well..." he said as he looked around. Knowing your father, he probably has watchers already on us. But I doubt they knew we are at Titan Tower. Lets just teleport. Your way or mine? he thought as he pumped his chest to make him look more tough in a playful way.

Why don't we go your way? I've always wondered what it was like, besides I'm still kinda weak from Dioko's outburst and healing two injured Titans. She sighed softly at the thought but quickly shook it away, I'm still curious about that Zuno kid though...He looks really familer...I've seen him somewhere before but I just don't remeber where exactly.
