I'm really not a full-out fan of either of these sports...I am the teacher advisor for our cheerleaders, so I've been to many a football (American-style, played in Canada) game, but I must say that I love the excitement and passion for U.K. -style footie that comes up around the World Cup. When I lived in London for a year, all my students played and footie. We lived right near the West Ham stadium, and that was pretty exciting! Football has also been known to become a passion for many people in third-world countries. The only gift they need is a ball, and they can do some amazing things with it! It can build teams, inspire youth and teach them skills they might otherwise miss out on.
So, I'm going to have to go with the REAL football, that is soccer!
Okay, a summer-sports question: swimming or cycling?
