"I don't know... I don't know if I want to know..." Alex gently pushed Drakul away and stood up. He headed over to the door and peeked outside.
Standing there was a person. Half of his body burned. His eyes were vacant and red. Alex quickly shut the door and locked it. Although he didn't think the person was smart enough to open a door anymore.
He walked back over to Drakul. "It was nothing... Don't worry."

Drakul fell over onto his side, watching Alex as he walked away.
He silently followed him a little, far enough away to be unseen, but close enough to see where the door was.
He saw someone standing there, and Alex shutting the door out of fear before he scurried back to where he was.
He was afraid now, shaking as he curled up into a ball on the ground, tackling Alex when he came back.
"Yeah, nothing..
Like I'm really going to believe that."

Alex fell over pulling Drakul on top of him. "I'm being attacked." He giggled.
"Seriously. It was this dude. And like he was trying to sell me girl scout cookies. And he got angry when I told him old men don't sell girl scout cookies. I also told him this was a grocery store and we've got a ton of cookies."
Alex looked over at Yuki who was still sound asleep. At least he didn't know what was going on.

"That has got to be the worst lie I've ever heard in my life." Drakul said as he rolled his eyes, shaking.
He bit down on his wrist until it started to bleed, and then he bit the other until the same thing happened.
He was curious and afraid of what might be outside, and if it could cause a threat to anyone.
He laid on top of Alex, not feeling like getting up as he looked toward the door, in case something tried to open it.

"Don't do that!" Alex yelled grabbing Drakul's wrists. "I know it's scary, but just don't..."
He let go of Drakul and pushed him away. "I'm going out there. There is a gun shop down the road." Alex stood up. "You stay here. If you so much as move I swear you'll regret it."

Yuki heard the commotion and woke up. "This really isn't a dream... What are you two going on about? I'm trying to sleep..."
Yuki's goal was to sleep through what was going on. Maybe he was in a coma and this was just a horribly wrong nightmare.

Allleex "Don't do that!" Alex yelled grabbing Drakul's wrists. "I know it's scary, but just don't..." He let go of Drakul and pushed him away. "I'm going out there. There is a gun shop down the road." Alex stood up. "You stay here. If you so much as move I swear you'll regret it." Drakul whimpered as Alex grabbed his wrists and pushed him away.
He stood and watched as Alex stood, fearing something might happen to him.
"What can you do that I'd regret?" He walked a bit towards him, a tad unsure.
"I really don't think it's safe for you to go out there by yourself, or to leave Yuki and I alone.."
He turned to Yuki as he woke up.
"There's something outside, and Alex wants to try and be the big hero by going out alone to get some guns to protect us, or something.
..You might want to go back to sleep."

"You don't want to know, kid. I can do things that you couldn't even imagine." Alex said heading for the door.
"I'll be fine and the two of you will be fine. No offence, but you guys would slow me down. I'll be back in five minutes."
Alex walked out the door before Drakul could protest anymore.

"Eh, let him go." Yuki said standing up and walking through the store. He came back a few minutes later with a magazine. He opened it not looking at Drakul he said, "So, you're a vampire? Why?"

"I'm not sure if that's really a bad thing or not." Drakul smiled softly as he sat back onto the floor, watching as Alex left, hoping nothing would happen to him while he was outside.
He turned to look at Yuki, his head tilted a bit.
"It's kind of surprising you'd want to know.
Anyways, I was attacked when I was about seven, and I was turned into what I am now.
Back then, I wasn't sure if it was a bad thing or not, and I'm still not really sure.
But, everything went downhill from there soon after."

"Aw, Yuki's being kind of nice!" Drakul smiled and hugged Yuki, but soon stopped and sat next to him, not wanting to aggravate him.
"But, yeah, I was only seven..
It wasn't that bad at first, but once my Dad found out, that's when everything got crazy."

There was a gun shot outside the grocery store. Alex walked in soon after and locked the door behind him. "Don't worry. That fake girl scout won't be selling us cookies anytime soon."
He walked back over to Drakul and Yuki. "I've got three guns. Don't shoot your feet off kiddies." He smiled as he handed them out.
He heard the comment Drakul made earlier and decide not to comment on it.
