"Oh puh-lease. Lily you guys fight like an old married couple. It's a bit sad really.." She stood up. "I'm going to go to breakfast now, so you kids have a blast." She saluted them off and started walking toward the castle.

Lily shook her head before running after her. "What is that supposed to mean? James is a stuck up loser that needs to have several pounds of his over sized head removed."
"She's got you there buddy." Sirius smirked at James.

"There's going to be an insane ammount of I told you so's from me and Sirius when you guys fall madly in love and marry eachother." She smirked at Lily, continuing to walk.

"Ronnie, you can't honestly tell me that you see me happily married to an ego maniac hot head." Lily flopped into a seat and poured herself some orange juice. "I'd wind up in Azkaban for cold blooded murder if I had to live with him the rest of my life."

"Haha, oh Evans, you tease!" James said, tossing a lock of her fair hair. He took another one in his hand, then sniffed it briefly when she wasn't looking.
"Y'know, mayve Ronnie dear had a point, maybe we should kiss and make up." James made his lips huge and puckered them in Lily's face.

Lily stood up from the table and looked right at James. "Do you know what I think of that idea Potter?" She smacked him hard accross the face before sitting down.

James stumbled backwards, and landed on Snivelly who happened to be walking past. He took his hand away from his face, and his cheek was cut and bleeding.
"My God, Evans, you really decked me!" he said in astonishment.

"Yes, and I'll do it again if you don't watch it." Lily sat down by Ronnie again and Sirius walked over.
"Hey James, what's up?" He then saw James cut face. "Man, what happened here?"

"Evans decked me! I'm actually bleeding! I think I'm going blind in my right eye," James said, actually sounding in pain. "Jesus Christ Evans, you going to try out for Chaser this year? You'd be bloody brilliant. Or maybe a Beater, get it? A Beater, cuz you beated me! i'm really dizzy, is the room spinning Sirius? I swear to John Lennon's grave this room is spinning."

"Oh grow up Potter." Lily's voice was unconcerned. "I can't fly, and I don't even know why you're on the team. Anyone could beat you with how big your head is. It must slow you down terribly."
"Hey Evans, you really hurt him this time." Sirius was laughing hard at the site of James.

Lily rolled her eyes and shoved some bacon in her mouth.
"Are you alright Prongs?" Sirius began to examine James' face and saw that Lily had cut right near his eye. "Man, you weren't joking. Sit down here James." He pointed to the empty seat by Lily.
