Hermione heard the part about everlasting love and ran out, crying, the egg basket left behind. "Ron! Come back! Please....?" Her face was covered in tears. She had told him how she felt... last time...

"And watch you make the biggest mistake of your life and hurt my friend, not bloody likely!" She was picking up speed, but Ron's lanky stride probably could outmatch her if he started to run rather than stomp. An orange bnded ear quirked hearing Hermione's voice behind them. She tried rounding on her brother, to cut him off and herd him back that direction. "She loves you!" She would not interferre if Hermione had not told her what had been said -well, at least generally. "If she can love you despite the giant git you already are, looking like a more giant git is hardly going to deter her, is it? Or do I have to shut you two up in a room where you can't run off like Trel had to do to Harry & me?"
Having said that, Ginny's pale pink fur darkened showing the blush beneath until fur & hair could hardly be told apart clear to the tips of her ears. She slowed running gradually too, eventually stopping all together to turn her head away and avirt her eyes. She had never actually told anyone how her & Harry's relationship had advanced to the next level.

Ron stopped his stride when Ginny caught up and started berating him about leaving. But he did feel something flare up inside him when she said Hermoine did love him. He turned and looked when Hermoine ran over, asking him not to leave, but he snapped his head at his sister when she said she and Harry seemed to have done ALOT more then he would want his sister to do. Now he was torn as he looked between the kitsu who he wanted to be with and his sister who he wanted to yell at for doing something like that with his best friend when she was still so young.

Hermione moved up to Ron and gently nuzzled him, tears still on her face. "Please, Ron...? Let's... go talk for a few minutes..." She tried to push him away from Ginny, as she h ad a feeling this would not go well if she didn't, her eyes on him.

Blushing furiously, Ginny backed way from the pair. Not that she was afraid of her brother's retaliation... but she did not want it to deter him from the matter at paw. "yeah... you two chat." She was still slowly backing away. "I can ah... go help Liliana alphabetize our potions closet."

Ron glared at Ginny, as if promising he would find her and they would talk about it. He then looked to Hermoine and nodded, going along with her.

Hermione pulls Ron off to a private room, and waits til he gets in, then sits, blocking the door. "Ron.... WHY would you think I'd go off after anyone else...?" She brushes a tear from her cheek, her eyes on his.

Ron started to get nervous as he followed Hermoine to a private room and he padded in further to sit down. When he saw her block the door with her body, he gulped and tugged at his shirt collar, his face heating up, especially when she asked him that question. He looked away a bit, not wanting to seem like a bigger fool in front of her, "You could really have anyone you want Hermoine. We must have came here, as Kitsu's, to get a second chance. Why ruin it on someone like me..."

"How is it ruining it, if I love you, Ron?" She said softly, and bluntly. Yes, they were getting new lives, new chances, but... she didn't think her's would be worth much without him in it. "I rarely see our best friend as it is, and I missed you so much when we were first here and hadn't see one another... Ron... There isn't anyone better, for me." She paused, then finally says "You balance me. Yin to my Yang and all that."

Ron was pretty sure all the blood was now in his face, making it as red as his hair. But the fear that Hermoine wouldn't love him was suddenly replaced with an elation he had never felt before. "I....I love you as well Hermoine..." he said as he padded closer to her. But mentally he groaned, knowing he would never hear the end of it from either Ginny or the Twins.

Hermione licks his cheek softly, smiling in joy. "Good... I'd hate to think otherwise..." She was filled with silent joy, her eyes on him. "I'm glad... we got to talk about it...."

Ron blushed when she licked his cheek and he licked hers as well, nuzzling her lovingly, "Me too, though I could have done without Ginny bringing up Vicky..." he said a bit grumpily.

Ron huffed a bit, but nuzzled the top of her head, still a bit grumpy over his sister, "Yes, well, I am going to have to talk to her about what she and Harry have been up to. I mean, I thrilled they are together, can't imagine another bloke with her. But she is too young!" he exclaimed.

Hermione shook her head, aware this was coming. "Ron... she's old enough... She's had a lot of experience since coming here... She knows what she's doing. As one of our species goes, she's an adult... And do you REALLY want to annoy her, risking a Bat-Bogey?"
