Flare gulped the water down gently down her throat. "Yes, my name is Flare." she meowed, her throat feeling much better. "That's a beautiful name as well." she complimented. She took a few more gulps before they left, and then said, "I feel much better now, Princess Kalliska." she mewed.

Kione tilted her head a little in question. A pride with no Queen? That was slightly unheard of...
Relaxing her muscles, she trotted beside Airithn. As she gazed at this male, she noticed something about him.
Your mate, a blue moon. She said, her voice in Nitarin's mind. You miss your Blue Flower terribly, but you have duties to your father. As you stated, he would be better off with a queen....If it eases your heart and mind, let's just say that the time of the new Queen shouldn't be too far off....but I am not certain who it is nor when it shall happen.
Kione then retreated from the male's mind back to her own. She licked her maw a little, wanting rest and water. Her tail flicked as she kept her head low trying to get it away from the sun's blistering rays of deadly heat.

Nitarin jumped at the strange, soft voice in his mind. Her words made him turn to look at her, wondering if his bleeding heart was so transparent... So easily seen... It was not good if everyone could see his weakness.. But for some reason, he was strangely wounded by any time away from his lady.. She was the only thing keeping him together right now...
'My Lady is the Blue Flower.' He agree cautiously. 'I do... She is my life... Our cubs growing and moving on, it happened too soon... My father has need of me as Crown Prince, and his Crown Prince I will be... The Blue Flower knows where I am needed, and until Father can find a pillar of strength, I shall do all I can for him.. I hope you speak true.. I hope a Queen arrives soon... We need one...'
Kalliska scooped up the cub. "Thank you Flare, now to the Den... You must eat, and I'll go out hunting again...'
She knew that by now, Naharia would be awake... And she and her kits would need to eat... Thus Naharia could keep an eye on the young Flare, and Kalliska could report to her sire before returning to the hunt. Pleased with her plan, she trotted toward the den.
Naharia gently sliced a piece of meet from the carcass and passed it to her daughters, smiling and watching them tug at either end... She was not really worried about Adelio's dissappearing, as he was no doubt wandering within the Pride Lands... But she wished he would return to eat... It was far too hot to be out in the lands for long...
Rellick moved along the border, assuring himself no others were wandering... Waiting for him to invite them in... Or trying to sneak in.. Patroling was the King's duty, and when he returned, he was sure he would have quite a few new members to sort out and welcome... The idea made him smile and trot along the border quicker, wanting to return to the cool shade of the Den.

Airithn had a strange feeling, comming to this pride...perhaps destiny had pushed her here...perhaps someone ariving today, was exactly what this pride needed...a Queen. Perhaps...it was her. She mentlly shook her head. No...not me...like they would pick me...She sighed.

Kione gave an inward smile. Trust and Faith, Crown Prince. Trust and Faith. The Queen is closer than you think With that, she spoke no more, leaving him to his thoughts. Her ears flicked a little as she was dying to get to the caves. The sun was horrible on her body and she just really needed to get in the den quickly.

Nitarin said nothing, motioning with a paw as they reached the mouth of the den. He was quite sure the guests were in need or rest... But his thoughts swirled over Kione's words, again and again. "Please rest here... The King will be with you shortly..."
Rellick trotted slowly back towards his den, satisfied with his borders, and ready to greet his guests... Scenting the air, he picked up his gait and moved toward the den, rumbling in his chest. Airithn would have some intersting things to tell him, and he was eager to meet the others...
Kalliska smiled and nosed Flare gently. "Call me Kalliska... And come on, the Den's this way..."
With a final encouraging nuzzle and glance, she set out towards the Den, muscles rippling beneath her coat. She was eager to hunt again, and would probably do so once this little newcommer was safely in Rellick's sights.

"Yes, Kalliska" she meowed politely, and dipped her head in respect. She delecatly padded over to the den that Princess Kalliska pointed too and went inside.

Kione gratefully trotted into the coolness of the den. Seeking out a cool spot on the ground floor, she settled in a corner, her body immediately going to the ground. A content purr flooded her mouth as she wrapped her tail around her body, feathers tickling at her elbows.
Already, her sights were seeing the past of this cave. Happiness, Sorrow, envy, all types of emotions had been in and out as well as all types of lions and lionesses. It was all a story that Kione couldn't want to unravel.

Airithn dipped her head to the prince, and trotted into the den. She yawned and curled up next to the female. She nibbled on a piece of meat, hunger being overpowered by the need to sleep. She knew Rellick would be along shortly, but for the moment sleep was much more welcome.

Flare made herself comfortable and curled up, tiredness overcoming her. With still some exaustion, she fell asleep, waiting to be accepted.

Naharia stirred and watched the newcommers enter the den and lay down, eyes glimmering in the shadows.. It would mean death if she hadn't been part of this Pride... It's Princess... It would mean death if any were thought unworthy, unwelcome... The sleeping places were a neat feature in the Den of Shadows, keeping them out of danger.. And above the heads of invaders, should they ever come...
Shelves of stone formed nearly perfect paths all the way up to the highest shelf, which was by far the widest, and situated over the entryway of the Den... That was the perch for the King... And his King.. Or his Queen... Depending... For now, Rellick slept on it alone.
Naharia claimed a perch two leaps down from the King's Summit, as it was her right, being the Eldest, and Crown Princess... Nitarin's perch was level with her's and on the far side of the Den, wide enough to keep him, his mate, and their cubs...
But Nitarin was below, and Insiri out in the lands... And only the SeaJem Princess with her two female kits stood in 'Court' above the newcommers... She smiled when Kalliska appeared, glad that her half sibling was here.... And then nuzzled her sleeping kits, pacing down.
"Greetings Newcommers..." Naharia purred. "Welcome to Scarlet Shadows..."
Watching Flare promptly fall asleep, Kione slink to the cold stone, and Airithn feed, Kalliska's eyes rose swiftly to the roof of the cave, a smile curving across her face. The silken voice was familiar and dear to her ears, and when Naharia detatched herself from the shadows of the high stone shelves, Kalliska paced toward the lowest level to greet her.
Stretching up, Kalliska planted her paws on the low shelf, nuzzling the sea green lioness and purring deeply. Naharia returned her greeting and then stepped down beside her, brushing sides in a silent second greeting.
"Ladies of distant lands, this is Naharia, a Crown Princess of Scarlet Shadows..." Kalliska murmured, introducing her 'sister'.
Nitarin stood outside the den, watching Naharia descend to the floor of the cave. When she and Kalliska stood side by side, he judged it safe for him to go... The need to be with Insiri was strong, and with a final glance in his siblings direction, he was off... Weaving through the soft golds and greens of Scarlet Shadows, he paused to swipe a paw at a stand of red grass, smiling as he remembered his father walking him through the Pride... Teaching him... Teaching him how to be everything he had always wanted to be....
Stepping through the tall crimson grass, he glanced over his shoulder to watch it close like a curtain, then moved out toward the slight valley in the land. He and Insiri were trying to have cubs again, and that was a task best pursued away from all....
However, right now, all he wanted was to lay beside his Lady....
Rellick stopped just outside the mouth of the Den, watching his daughters greet the newcommers... A tiny kit he did not know slept in the den... The strange grey lioness rellishing in the cool of the stone.. Airithn feeding... He watched them all with silent eyes, waiting to see how they were getting along...

Flare woke up gently as she felt eyes watching her pelt. She looked up and stared in awe at the male lion watching them. She immediatly stood up and dipped her head. "Hello." she greeted him. She could sense that he might of been some kind of royalty. She was just able to tell.

For the past few hours, Llail had been gone... pretty much, without a word. Had wandered off, having needed a good thinking time...
He'd finally returned, a new little scent bouncing around him, one of an unknown female.
He also came back, a cool smile on his maw, and what almost seemed to be a slightly joyed bounce to his steps.
"Well somebody's happy..." Fatale couldn't help but notice how happy her brother seemed to be. She made her way over to him, pawing him softly in the shoulder. "What's up?"
Llail only smirked at his older sister. "You'll see... Just wait."
"Oh come on, Llail!" Fatale laughed a bit. "I've never seen you so.. Happy! Just spill it..."
For a moment, Llail glanced about, making sure his parents weren't around... thankfully, they weren't. "Lets just say..." Okay.. how to say it... "Neh. I got a mate."
Fatale laughed. "You were never good at wording things..." She mumbled, then got back to the point. "And wow. Nice going.. Llail.." She smiled, making sure to keep quiet.

Arirthn perk up, sencing Rellick. She stood and streched, yawning slightly before trotting toward him. "Rellick..." she smiled, bowing to the king. She sat on her haunches and her tail curled around her feet. "How are you? Quite the large pride you have here..."
