Liliana had plenty to do to, but being able to apparate had more time to do it in. First she found her father and what blood kin she could find and informed them of her decision. Then she let the word spread as she sought out Ginny to tell her aunt herself and ask for her assistance in preparing a special meal. Hearing what was on the menu Ginny arched a brow. "Do you really need all that? Gonna tie the guy in nuts." Liliana flushed hotly. "uh... not really... I just..." Her aunt laughed, a paw moving to rest on her pregnant belly. "Look. Lemmie handle the menu. Some of what you asked, mixed well with other dishes that will surely give you both the energy you'll need..." she winked conspiratorily, "I'll get it started. oh... ask Myr for these ingredients when you ask for your other things too." Ginny jotted down a few things before passing the list to Liliana. "You can help with the middle after, but if gets too close to time I'm kicking you out so you can get dolled up!" Brown eyes glinted, the look behind them seeming to say first times were special. Liliana grinned as her fur darkened. "Right, Aunt Ginny. I'll be back with everything after talking with Myr and canceling my morning training with Zell."

She did as she said, Zell's worried look the only hint of what she knew some of them were feeling from missing the young alchemist that was part of their family. In their hearts at least.

She had made her choice, for good or evil. There was the anticipation of tonight to tend to now. Liliana shivered happily all through helping Ginny in the kitchen until the pregnant female shooed her off to take a nap & get ready. Trelweny helped bathe her in the tub, a soft sad smile on her face. Briefly Liliana wondered if it was her own or if the empath was picking up anything from her. Liliana was dried, and a fur conditioner that smelled & tasted faintly of vanilla was rubbed into her coat. A similar lotion for wings brightened her feathers. Then she was brushed until every hair glowed. Her gold markings seemed to be molten the black filigree on her sides standing out boldly against the crimson.

Gathering the packed meal and other things she had collected Liliana smiled at her family and disapparated.


Liliana apparated near the rock wall, a kitsu length or two away from the gap to enter. Setting down her bag -yes everything fit inside it- Liliana smiled softly to see Endless resting.

Then light reflected of the alchemy symbol round her neck and she froze.

Slipping her wand into its holster, Liliana gazed at the mythril pendent softly and sadly. Then with painstakingly slow movements she put her paw beneath it, lifted, and slipped the necklace and pendant over her head. A tear fell upon the bright metal as she slipped it into the bag of holding.

She had neither seen nor heard him coming. Her teachers would be disappointed in her. Right now that did not matter. Liliana sagged into the comforting embrace, another tear slipping though. "Endless... when did you wake?"

He was so comforting... and her body was certainly reacting to both Endless' words and the mix of feelings behind them. Liliana leaned softly into him with a shiver. "Thank you, Endless. You look... clean."

She giggled, perhaps a little shrilly. "I just... want everything to be perfect."

But her paw lifted to pat subconsciously at the spot her pendant had lain ever since Edward had put the necklace around her neck. She felt oddly bereft without the cool feel of the metal to her fur. Yet she knew if this was to work, she could not let Edward between them in such a physical manner. Still...

Smiling, a hint of soft sadness in her green eyes, Lily nuzzled the starry male with a hint of sultry purr. "Shall we eat?"

Her eyes turned, perplexed at the shift in Endless... the shift of the night. The gold tips of her ears dipped softly but did not drop. Yes... that was why she had asked, but Endless' assurances that they were not rushing things had done their job. Hadn't they? She was ready... they were ready... Weren't they?

But she was not over this. Lily wondered if she ever could be. Very slowly she nodded her head once as Endless' warm embrace receded. Receded, but did not go away. She sighed softly, then opened her mouth to protest that she could carry her own bag but never got that far. Shutting her mouth Lily let him guide her down the path, everything in confusion. Yet at the same time, there was a light whisper of relief. Maybe they really were moving too fast. "Endless... I'm sorry."

"Yes there is." Lily insisted, sitting down where indicated, finding it much easier to have someone else dictate her choices. "I made a decision and I want to stick to it and everything that means." Before the waver in me throws us all back into the anxiety of these last few weeks.

She sighed, feeling Endless' rumble through her neck & head. Let go? No... she could never let go. Not ever. Not of either of them. Certainly not of her feelings. Come to terms... yes. That was really all she could hope for, wasn't it? "I... guess so."

Green eyes blinked as Endless' weight was gone from her, and she turned to see him roll over like a kit. A silly giggled escaped her and she smiled with loving fondness before reaching out with a gold tipped paw to tentatively bat at his paws as if he really wanted to play. The motion though graceful lacked the full playfulness of one more accustomed to play than the studious Liliana.

No... she could not talk directly about Ed right now. Not just jump into it. Her eyes flicked to her bag, debating pulling the pendant back out or perhaps getting dinner set up. But she did not feel ready to eat just yet, her stomach and heart lead. Herself? Maybe. But his last innocent enough suggestion pushed that away for the time being. Liliana stiffened slightly, then lay on her belly, legs beneath her, with all the grace of a lady. "Why the new moon? I guess... well I told you one."

Her face fur seemed to darken as she blushed, eyes traveling Endless' starry pelt with both love and more than a trace of physical desire. Pained golden eyes filled her inner vision & Liliana shook her head forcefully until her ears swung back and forth from the motion even after she stopped. "For another there's something you should know. Something about my family."

Liliana breathed deeply, collecting her thoughts. She had never really told anyone before. Edward had learned by being there. "I suppose it's not much of a secret, though we don't advertise it. Everyone from Daddy's before knows about it. But... it's a family thing; not to speak much of it, though it effects us all. Just some of us more than others."

That had tickled. And somehow had felt delightful at the same time. A light shudder had gone up her foreleg even as her paw was released.

"Daddy, yes. And Aiden. And who knows, possibly anther down the road the way Daddy & Mother are with each other." Liliana lowered her gaze at that direction of thoughts, but not soon enough to fully hide the passion that flared in her green eyes. Once awakened to that knowledge within herself it was a hard thing to forget. She was her parents daughter, after all.

"It started back in Daddy's before when he was bit by a wolf as a little boy -a kit. Only it was not a wolf. It was an evil being -a man who became a wolf. A werewolf." Green eyes were no longer hidden, but avidly regarding Endless as she might a potion she was watching. "He became a werewolf himself then. Shunned. Outcast. He had a few friends, but there was a darkness in their before that took them from him."

Her eyes grew a little softer. "But I digress, as Daddy would say. What's important is that this curse stayed with him when he was born a kitsu. Like Edward's automail. Of course no one knew if it would pass to his children. There weren't exactly records of it in the books from Daddy's before. None of my litter have it, though Rommy does get a little wilder when the moon is full. But of the new kits... Aiden became a werewolf that first full moon..."

She still watched his reactions though it was clear her thoughts were also elsewhere. On her family, on Ed being there that night... Lily sighed softly. "There's no cure. Only the Wolfsbane Potion and that merely makes them sane and docile while changed. So one way or another, all of us watch the moon. I like the new moon best... because there is no hint of the orb that all my life has taken Daddy from us three nights every month."

She purred softly at the kisses, nodding at his words. Lily had not known what to expect from his reactions, only that she did not want to miss them. A low sigh escaped her as Endless stroked her side. Not quite enough for her to be disappointed that he had called off their original plans. She was still relieved at that, realizing now that her emotions were a little more not quite as high strung that doing so would have only hurt them all in the long run. It was a bad reason anyway -to ensure she had to stick to her decision. It was not the only reason, but that it was a reason at all made the others tainted too.

"Well... Rommy's a mute, MauCho & I never got along, & Katsumi likes to play the black sheep." Liliana believed her baby brother when he insisted that despite everything Katsumi did she loved their family. "I mean, I could go on for days about them, but that's the important thing." She sighed softly. "I know they're good -Daddy & Aiden- but that's part of what's so hard. Daddy says the one that bit him was a monster of his own right, even without being a werewolf. So much so that he would do terrible things even on nights there was no moon to make the change." Her crimson shoulders shuddered, the motion going down her sides to ripple the pattern there.

Offhandedly she wondered if Endless intentionally did not ask about the other other reason she had chosen the new moon. The one that was similar in ways to wanting to be surrounded by The Endless, but with a different why.

Sighing again she started to pull out dinner, looking for something to sate her empty tummy. "I suppose I should tell you about me, before we met. Where would you like me to start?"

Her reaching paw could not even find the aphrodisiac dishes in her bag which only seemed to confirm in her mind that they should wait. "Diina? No. I've not met her, though Aunt Chroma & Aunt Ginny have mentioned her. Cookies, right?"

Then she was shaking her head. Thinking about Envy had her thinking about Edward... she pulled the alchemy symbol from her bag without thinking and soon had it over her head, back in place where it belonged. "No. I'd not heard Shoom & Envy met."

She did not miss Endless' hungry gaze & shivered under its weight. With a soft smile she passed one of the dishes to Endless, casually going into the rather boring story of her life as they ate.
