As the hume charged again, the gargoyle threw himself into the air. As it was, he barely managed to avoid the swing of the blade. He mocked the summoner, flitting just out of his reach. Well, the last tactic had worked rather well. He'd scared the little hume so bad that he'd missed! He would try it again! Once more his mouth stretched out to an impossible size. The teeth glittering in the faux sunlight provided by the Stadium's technology. The blood still dripping from his claws added to the horror of the overall image.

dythnix for the first time in the match was visibly frustrated......."so you provide me a slight challenge.......good......" and at this he lept at the beast and swung very hard hoping not to hit as much, but more to disorient and scare it.....

The little gargoyle cackled gleefully as he once again managed to dodge the silly summoner's attack. He was beginning to have a little fun with this. Deciding to again use his claws -- he missed the feeling of shredded flesh beneath them -- the creature burst forward in an impressive show of speed, though not agility. He came at Dythnix with his claws extended, ripping into his torso with a joy that would have impressed even the most practiced of devils. When he felt he'd done enough damage, he jumped back.

Dythnix was injured badly and moving more sluggish.However he began a recovery and immediately lept at the thing with a burning rage so terrible it was as frightening as staring down shiva,........."This thing has to die somehow!" and he swung while saying this hoping for at least a slight scratch.....

[The tournament is won on a points system. You'll lose some points for losing. But you're not out yet. ^_^ Don't give up hope, dear.]
Sensing that his victim was nearing the end, the gargoyle pressed onward. He rushed in for another try at the summoner's vitals. This time it was the stomach he targeted. The soft flesh there was easier to rip into than in other places. He had to get around the armor of course. But that didn't stop him completely. He managed to get quite a bit of damage in while he clung tenaciously to the hume's torso. After a moment, he flitted back into a relatively safe position and distance. As weak as the man might be, he still didn't trust him.

[Yeah, I know...XD Ah, well. That happens sometimes. We'll just make sure that we aren't in a party together later on. That way, we won't slow down anything. ^.^]
Seeing his chance, the little gargoyle dodged the hume's pathetic attempts to hit him. Wriggling in malicious excitement, he dove in for the kill. His claws were extended to their utmost, stretching towards the summoner. He itched to feel the blood flowing over his entire body instead of just his claws. And there was only one way he was going to accomplish that. With a final shriek of affronted defiance to the humans who had caged him, he latched onto the summoner and went to work.
