Well, I am very glad that the places that needed it got the rain, but I hope it stops where it is flooding. The weather has been showing the effects of global warming all over. It is really too bad. The earth has a way of coping with these things that may not be to our liking. Even though I do not believe the earth is sentient, yet still it could do something weird and unexpected.

The weather has been strange. Mostly it was dry here this summer. But now it is raining like every day. Very odd.

umaeril Cherry Milkshake I was supossed to go to Australia for being an honored Student at the High School but I say no since the trip was too expensive and too far from where I'm at, I'll go someday just not now.^^ Oh, ok, well....that is cool. I have never been to Australia either. Yup and I never been there either and I'll go when I'm ready.

Oh it is dry where you are? Here it is very humid. The humidity was like 68 today which is getting on towards being tropical. Too hot and humid for me!
I have the fan on me right now.

good news is this summer no bad storms been a few with some wind and heavy rain but nothing bad they miss us a lot up here.

You are very lucky then WF because many people have suffered this summer because of bad weather and terrible storms. And it just seems all around like an unusual summer. But it is not over yet. Do you get snow in the winter WF?

Weather directly and emphatically relates to our quality of life in the most profound manner. It changes us as a species, culturally, socially and individually. I can hardly think of another force that acts on us in such a dynamic manner.

That's true, but newsworthy weather means that a lot of people are dying. I'm sure that we'll change because of it, but as for right now it sucks.

I think your point is valid! Also, there is another force that works on humanity with the power of weather...and that is hunger. Put them together and you get the most horrible brutalities.
