Okay, butno. 'Dave' is short for 'David'. Someone named 'David' is named 'Dave'. It's just a short form of the name. So yeah, his name's Dave.
'Dave' isn't a name. You don't name your kid 'Dave', you name him 'David' and call him 'Dave'.

Yeah, well, I know it's an awful thing for me to say, but whoever's parents name them "Dave" have some serious learning to do.

Or.. "Greg", or "Bob", or "Jeff", or "Chris", or "Pete", or "Phil", or "Matt", or "Dom", or "Nick", or "Tom", or "Ray", or "Vince", or "Josh", or "Mike".. the list goes on.
Johnson, that should be more of a last name, with the "son" part.

Heheh. Well, I kind of like common names because anyone can pronounce them. I mean, seriously, in sec. one, every one of my teachers pronounced my name a different way.

Lol. Well, I've only had a few people *ever* pronounce my name wrong, thankfully. As for my friends, though, they have the most original names ever. Roll call was always interesting. gonk
