Nokomis Midnight She moved carefully taking soft steps untill she had lead them to a apple tree at the top of the small beach on the lake. it was far enough away from the water to suit her. " I hope you dont mind the distance from the lake" she said making sure she was comfortable." the tree is a good bit aways as far as i can tell. This way you take no chances. " she glanced in what she assumed was his direction. He was definantly an enigma." how long have you been here Raziel?" she asked politely. mostly attempting conversation "Hardly," He replied, tail almost dragging along the ground in a display of disconcertion. Truly, Raziel wasn't certain they were far enough away; the trickling of water through pebbled and sandy knolls was causing a similar feeling to creep through his talons and swirl up into his spine and head. Everything was connected, and this lake may have been the result of an aqueduct stemming from the Abyss. The second the thought occurred to him, the kitsu knew it was ridiculous, but the unsettled feeling did not abdicate its position in his misplaced heart.
He forced himself to watch the water, to grow used to the lapping edges which bade him to enter, to let go, to divorce a battered soul from an equally tattered body. The moonlight tread with feminine grace over the surface of the water, like some reincarnation of Narcissus, captivated by its own raw beauty. The night and the water combined were a deadly potency: The moon could draw him in and the water could rend him apart.
Perhaps that was the intention.
Her words struck the wraith like a blow, and he unconsciously winced, the storm cloud eyes flaring back to life where before a dulled hopelessness had held them. Did Collista mean to ask him how long he'd wandered the material plane? Or was he overthinking things again? "Not long," He hazarded, answer purposefully vague. "And I have little intention of remaining..."

Fai blinked four times in surprise. "Hyuu? Where did Aziraphale go to?" Fai looked back and forth around him, but he was nowhere in sight. Surely he wouldn't just fly off without saying bye? "Whaaa...! Fai-san is all alone again!!!" Pulling on the hood of his cloak, Fai debated what to do next. 'I wonder if everyone else dissappeared?' Running back towards the log, Fai hopped up to peer over the edge of the fallen tree. No one was there either. Fai plopped his chin on the log, huffing a sigh of boredom. "Perhaps the kitsus all had somewhere to go? But why leave poor Fai-san!!!" With nothing else to do, Fai continued his dramatic wailing. "Hyuu- I guess I should return to see if the others are still around." ((Is Syaoran or Sakura around?)) ninja

Rainberries nooheadexplody Rainberries "Trivial?!?" Brown eyes flashed as the redhead's temper flared. She shook off Remus' calming paw from her shoulder. Liliana mewed in worry, her green eyes flickering between the shinigami she was coming to enjoy watching & her irate 'aunt', pulling out her wand. But Remus knocked her foreleg down before Ginny could cast the spell. "Ginevra! That's enough!" He was using his authorative "professor voice" and the female's ears flattened lower against her head. "I will not permit you to hex Ryuk!" Ginny seethed at him, flopping to the ground and glaring at both males. ((I'll find last Dazz/Iroh post if you want, DBZ)) The redhead kitsu's outburst received a raise from Ryuk's hairless brow. It was much less a look of shock than it was surprise that she would even attempt to attack him. Usually mortals would only resort to attacking a Shinigami out of fear, when their wits were not completely about them. But the redhead, she didn't seem afraid.
What did he care? Mortal weapons couldn't hurt Ryuk. He cocked his head to one side, a look of bemusement upon his face.
"Boy, you do get excited, don't you?" ((finally found it again!))A low growl emanated from the red-headed female, her brown eyes flashing. "I've been told I've a bit of a temper... what of it?" Her tone was daring & Remus moaned at her lack of manners more than anything else. Ginny aimed her glare at her "brother" "I think you should have let me hex him. He would have looked good with flapping wings all over his face.""Now Ginny, Ryuk is a friend." Of sorts. Perhaps. The redhead scowled. "Yours maybe."Liliana tilted her head curiously at her "aunt" before speaking. "I like the scary smiling Ryuk, aunt Ginny." The witch pursed her lips. "Fine. I won't hex him. Happy?" She certainly was not. "Thank you, Ginny."((feel free to join in!))Hermione walked around a corner, approaching the group, but not paying attention to them. She spoke over her shoulder to some one. "Yup, right here, I found her. Remus too." "Well, now what have we here?" Around the corner steps a stocky, tall kitsu male, with longish red hair. "Ginny's out to give some one the Bat Bogey hex perhaps? I say go for it.""Why should she do that? We're here, why not just give him a canary cream? For some one irritating our little sister, its on the house!" Another, twin to the first, emerges, a wicked sparkle in his eyes.

"Hyeh..." Fai mopped around, having not been able to find Kurogane or the others. What was going on in this realm? He had felt no magic, but it seemed like everthyone had magically vanished. It almost reminded him of his desolated home of Celes. An ice wasteland. Fai shook out those thoughts. There was no way this world was meeting the same fate, he would have sensed it long before it happened. Fai stopped short on his quest when he noticed a shadow go by slowly. Recognizing that shape, Fai looked up to see a winged kitsu. Though he had never seen this one before, as he had black wings. So he wasn't alone in this world. "Hyuu Hyuu," Fai shouted, trying to get the kitsus attention. ((here's one for Crowley heart ))

Looking up from his own mopping, the winged demon blinked curious yellow snake eyes behind his dark sunglasses. Getting up, and shaking off the thin layer of dust he was sure had formed on him over the time he had just been laying there, he trotted up to the flaxen-haired male, pausing a few good steps away from him, wanting to seem not so much threatening or aloof, but respectful of the other's space. Not that demons were supposed to be respectful of anything. Aziraphale really was rubbing off on him. He could only hope that he was doing to same to the angel. "Hallo," he said finally, settling on something of a grin, though it was more preditory than friendly. Old habits died hard.

"And I have little intention of remaining..." She had figured he would say that. " Tell me something raziel.." she frowned knowing she was probably going to get her nose bitten off for asking. " Why do the other kitsus hate you so?" It was blunt to the point." Youve refered to yourself as a monster yet i have not found one reason to think you so. You are polite. Not overly kind yet your words sound as though you speak the truth. And that is a good trait. " she frowned again her earrings swaying in the gentle breeze. the sound of the lake against the shore added an odd background to her questions yet somehow they were almost soothing to colistas ears.

Fai turned towards the kitsu. Now that it was closer, Fai could seen a strong aura of him. It certainly wasn't of good origin, that was for sure. Though hesitant, Fai placed on a smile. "Why, good day! My name if Fai." Just because the aura was intimidating didn't mean the character himself was. Though it didn't hurt to keep his distance. "And you would be?" Fai asked in a friendly grin. ((u can if u want ninetails 3nodding ))

"Anthony J. Crowley. Pleased to meet you, Fai." Bowing, his glasses slid down on his nose just a little, revealing his eyes' vibrant yellow color and black, snake-like pupils. "It's pleased I am to meet you." He hissed, just a little, over the S's, as he still couldn't quite help himself from that habit. The other Kitsusagi seemed nervous... No, not nervous, the demon amended. But wary. Apparently, Crowley's reputation preceeded him.

"Hyuu! Crowley, eh? We were just talking about you. Me and Aziraphale that is. He was searching for you, but he had vanished just moments ago." Fai risked looking at the kitsus eyes. They were very unique, showing great strength and intelligence. Fai closed his eyes and smirked. He wasn't going to tread on others personal space, as he would be discomforted too if another did that to him. Fai nodded back to Crowley. "He was quite the book lover, and had a very polite demeanor."

Lenneth smirked at Raistlin's comment directed at his brother. She knew better than most treasure laid hidden in different realms, in different places within the realm even. Often times they're not usually within a nice neat treasure chest laid out just for anyone to discover, and if they are typically those treasures aren't very good if one was to consider it a treasure in the first place. Most of the ones she found laid deep hidden within a dungeon, or a town lost to the naked eye. Granted that she had a little helper with her which indicated a treasure was nearby by illumination she still sometimes had trouble reaching the treasure.
"Yes, many treasure lay hidden within this realm. I have no doubt in my mind that you seek them all, or at least would seek the ones most useful to yourself and your brother. However most of them would prove useless to anyone aside from a desperate merchant," she smirked. Most of the treasures she often found was particularly useless in battle or otherwise. Even as a decoration they proved mediocre. "However, the treasures most valuable cannot be found in the physical world. To obtain them, I believe, you must see with your own eyes not only the Kitsus that live here but the world around them."
Treasures often most important to people were not materialistic at all. Materialistic objects can always get lost, stolen, broken, etc. And often times they were replaceable. The treasures most important to most; if not all were found in the most unlikely places through the most unlikely people. To discover those things in itself is one of the greater rewards of the treasure itself.

Finishing off her onigiri, Haruhi glanced over at the colorful grapes Ichijo brought over. They appeared just about right from the dull maroonish color they carried. Not to mention they were nice and round, and had just the right strength to them. Not too soft and not too hard. Just perfect. Whoever got these grapes surely had a keen eye on buying the right ones.
She bit one off the stem and chewed it in her mouth slowly. The flavor of the grape seemed to melt in her mouth with a proportionate amount of sugar and texturely goodness. Chewing on them reminded her of when she first went shopping for grapes not too soon after her mother passed. When she went to the market to examine the grapes, she was a little baffled as to which were the ripe ones. She took her paw and gently squished them a little, only to end up with a paw full of grape juice. Of course, the next time she went she knew exactly which ones to buy after her previous failure. Thinking back upon those memories gave way a gentle smile on her face as she took more grapes into her mouth.
"Thanks Ichijo-san. They're just as you said they were." She flopped her ears up and down at his comment about her onigiris. Her first reaction was to chuckle, while her second was to answer him, "They're alright for left overs. But I'm not really as good as you say I am. I can cook enough to get by without throwing up from the horrible taste of it, but it's not the best onigiris ever," she chuckled once more. His face at that moment seemed a little red; oblivious to this she asked, "Are they that good that they make your face red?" She asked innocently.
She turned back to the unmasked kitsu across from him and taught him how to make onigiris, "If you want to make onigiris it's best to have good rice. Sticky rice is usually pretty good for this. You just cook some rice, dice up some meat and mix it in. When you're done you just take a pawful then roll it into a ball. If you want you can stick a plum in the middle, or whatever you prefer. Then you just take a piece of seaweed and wrap it half way around the sides."

Crowley pushed his glasses up with one paw, before settling down on the ground, a slight smile on his lips. "Yeah, that'd be Aziraphale. Polite right down to his toes... Unless you try and steal one of his books. Then he gets a little testy." Casually, Crowley nosed a piece of dust off of his suit jacket. "Talking about me then, hm? And what did he say?"
