Enel of Skypiea

PostPosted: Tue Nov 20, 2007 8:44 pm

"This ship was built for the sky. I designed it." Enel answered. He went into one of the machinery rooms and flipped a switch. The switch activated the jet dials. With these, Enel's electricity, and the wings working they would be high above the storm in a matter of minutes.

albel looked over at seth and sana having a discussion, and got curious((as he usually is)), and walked over to sana "whatcha talking about?" he asked with a bright smile on his face

Sana jumped at the sound of Albel's voice. Upon reaction, she reached out and grabbed the cloth of Seths shirt and pulled him towards her. Hiding her face that threatened tears, Sana replied to Albel, "It's nothing, Albel."

Aleese resumed her job and grasped the wheel firmly. She turned the wheel and steadied the ship. They were ready to fly as soon as the captain gave the order. She turned as Albel joined Sana and Seth's conversation. An expression of mixed emotions crossed her face. She shook her head and faced forward again. She hadn't used telepathy on either Seth or Sanagi at this point; it was about time that she learned to control it. So she held back her mind from either of theirs and kept her thoughts to herself--something that was becoming increasingly difficult since she'd never been able to master her telepathy.
Aleese never enjoyed invading a person's privacy, even though sometimes she did it on purpose. There was never once a time that she did not regret invading a person's mind. Even so, she'd had plenty of experience connecting a person's innermost thoughts with their expressions--and by Sana's expression, she knew that something was very, very wrong. Forcing her own worries and concerns to the back of her mind, her guilt began to resurface. I'm sorry everyone... She thought to herself. Aleese wanted so badly for her friends to hear it, but in order to do that, she would have to invade their minds--something that, as of that moment, she swore she would only ever do in dire situations.
Glancing back to Sanagi, Seth, and Albel, her own expression grew tense. This was going to be hard. Whatever lay ahead of them was going to be a test for everyone-- and everyone would have something of their own to overcome. But whatever obstacle they would face, in overcoming it, they would themselves become better. The feeling that Aleese felt was such a mixture that she couldn't explain it if her life depended on it. It stirred in the best and the worst of everything she'd ever felt. She couldn't understand how exactly she knew it, but something unknown told her that a trial of the best, and worst, of everyone lay ahead.

((Sorry for the long post, guys!!! I'm on Lortab at the moment so I don't really know if I'm saying different sentences or if I'm just repeating myself. sweatdrop ))

Seth moved his arm around Sana letting her hide her face in his chest, he needed to say something else to Sana but how could he when Albel was right there, it took everything he had to stop himself from throwing him over board but that would just make things worse.

Tanas had given the wheel back to Aleese and returned to her spot at the railing. She sat on the railing feeling the breeze, "Return to the swords." She ordered her dragons. They looked at each other and nodded in agreement. They vanished into thin air and her swords reappeared placing themselves tied to her waistband. She was watching what was unfolding on the deck. Something deep was going on there, but she doesn't pry into other's personal lives. She mainly keeps to herself when it comes to others and their problems, but will be a listening ear for them if they needed someone to talk to. She got up again and walked to the hull of the ship, leaning again the railing, letting the wind brush her hair.

Tanas closed her eyes and begun to sing a song. She was singing a simple song she heard her mother sing, it was by a woman named Namie Amuro. The song was called Four Seasons.

Aleese gripped the wheel as the ship began to rise slowly out of the water. She listened to the song Tanas was singing and was amazed to find herself smiling. The ship gracefully ascended into the air and the clouds drifted nearer. "It'll be a little wet when we go through, you guys!" She yelled to the crew as a warning and then was silent. The ship drifted soundlessly through a light-gray cloud, covering the entire ship in a silken mist. As the ship emerged and climbed higher still, Aleese turned the wheel and they began to sail forward. The ship stopped its ascent and was now only traveling horizontally. They were far enough above the clouds to avoid the storm. Aleese's knees locked and her arms grew tense as the cool air paraded across her damp form and through her hair. She gritted her teeth to prevent them from chattering and brushed her hair behind her ears to hear Tanas's song. She gripped the wheel and glanced at Sanagi with a sympathetic look.

(((I actually just downloaded that song...Can't stop listening to it...It's all your fault...Lol, jk, ^^ I love it!)))

"h-h-holy c-c-crap, it's f-f-freaking freezing up here" albel said, his knees knocking and his right arm wrapped around him, his gauntlet hanging down at his side "this crew must have hot blood or s-s-something" albel said, stuttering from the cold and sneezing

Aleese smiled sympathetically to Albel and stifled a giggle. Something about being this far above land made her oddly happy--but cold. "Not exactly..." She told him. As she turned the wheel a little more, she severely resented that she was wearing a short dress with no actual sleeves. She reached behind her and pulled the ribbon from her hair, letting the curls fall over her shoulders as a makeshift way to warm up a little. A tiny shiver ran up her spine, but she held the wheel steady. She tied the ribbon from her hair around her wrist and tucked her elbows into her sides as closely as she could.

sana stayed silent, tears threatening less and less to appear. She felt the temperature drop a few degrees while the final assent took place. She noticed Albel talking to Aleese and took the advantage. Sana asked Seth to only where he could hear, "Since we're up in the sky..how is your crew member going to get here?..." Sana glanced to the front of the ship and watched everyone. Tanas humming a tune, Aleese at the wheel, Albel shivering, Enel out of sight.

"I can't stop you from leaving...." Sana added still looking forward. "But..."
She bit her lower lip, deciding at the last minute what to say. She whipped her head around and looked Seth strait in the eye, "Whatever your motives are, I will not Let you or your parents crew attack and steal from our ship!" Sana ungripped the cloth of his shirt but still held them there. "The choices you make...you have to take responsabilty for.." Sana looked away at the storm below, watching the flash of lightening and crack of thunder. "Whatever happens...don't forget that."

A loud crack echoed through the sky.

Seth sighed slightly "Sana I already said I wasnt going to leave if you had let me finish i would of told you what i was going to do" Seth said as he looked to the ground "latter though...when its just us, i dont want everyone to be involved.

Tanas heard Abel talk and saw everyone shivering with the cold water. So she rushed down below deck, grabbing four blankets, and rushed back to everyone else. She placed a blanket over Sana first, noticing the tears. She then pulled out a small piece of cloth with a dragon design on it, handing it to her. After that she gave Seth a blanket to dry himself off or warm himself up. Then she dashed up to Abel and Aleese. She threw the blanket over Aleese quickly upon seeing her cleched teeth. She turned to Abel and placed a blanket over his shaking body, "Not a cold weather person are you?" She said, in her summer clothing. Since she trained from the coldest to the hotest of places, she always was used to harsh weather, and being this cold only made her blood hotter.

Her second sword seemed to rattle and her eyes seemed to flash, she placed her hand on the rattling sword. She glanced down to Seth and Sana, shhe felt something coming from the two and she didn't favor it to the lest bit. Nethier did her dragons.

albel sniffled and sat down next to sana "thank you, tanas" he said, trying to keep himself warm "its not that i am a summer person, its this thing" he said, shaking as he slowly unstrapped his gauntlet and let it drop to the deck "much b-b-better" he said, as a massive shiver ran through his body, making him shake violently "that and the fact that this shirt is fairly thin" he said, wrapping his coat around him to try and stay warm

Sana brought the blanket around her arms, holding onto the cloth with the dragon design. "...Yeah." She sniffed and smelt the cold damp air. "You promise...you wont leave right?"
