And..it seemed like they would not be making a quick recovery. Tripping over the rock had certainly seemed to rattle the pair and they lost more ground. On the plus side that hopefully meant that once they got moving again they would have plenty of time to make up for it...right? Zurine chose to see it that way. Alright they seemed to be going in the right direction again, although slowly - it was something of an improvement however so Zurine wasn't going to fuss about it - now if she could just get her lance to behave...

Alright things were going better again - they were still moving slowly in the right direction and her lance was actually pointed at the dummy instead of wobbling about and trying to stab the sky. Things were looking up!

And now they were almost pack at the point where things had started to go wrong last time - and Zurine just had to hope that nothing happened this go around, all they had to do was keep moving the way they were, her lance was fairly steady and Joker was running nice and steady.

Okay Joker was starting to pick up some speed and her lance was still holding steady, they had managed to pass the halfway mark now and Zurine was pleased with the progress they were making - despite the mishaps they'd had earlier on.

A bit of a wobble in her lance - the blasted thing was heavy and her arm was getting a bit tired..but now was not the time to think of such things. Zurine steeled herself against the fatigue and urged Joker on.

THings were still going fairly well as far as Zurine was concerned, she was starting to see the details on the dummy and she was sure they were going to cause at least a bit of damage to it! Joker was listening fairly well - at least he hadn't tripped over a rock, tried to make a fool of her or become distracted by things in the woods for a little bit now!

Alright Getting closer, Zurine imagine she could see the fear in the dummies eyes as they charged down at him - well if dummies had eyes and you know..if it was real, which it wasn't..but she was imagining here and that iagination unfortunately made her lapse a bit in concentration and although her lance didn't move off target the aim didn't get any better either.

JOUSTIN' Bam! Zurine's Lance hit the target before she even knew what happened. Sadly the hit hadn't been quite as hard as she might have liked but hey it was their first time and they had made it to the target. Zurine decided to call that a victory and patted Joker in congratulations as they slowed down and then headed back to the rest of the class. Alright so it hadn't been the perfect run - and they had had their problems..and she probably should have been paying better attention there at the end but it had been fun none the less!
