Not too far away, Ever thought he saw the form of the other twin, looking not all that much better off. With a pained sound, he hauled himself to his feet again, patting Lunaire once.
Barely half a step away, he fumbled in the sand as something caught at his leg, pulling him toward the sand. Suddenly frantic, he shook out his weapon again to strike at it.

There was a bit of distance in his eyes as she brought him in closer, he was still standing, and not entirely destroyed. He glanced around a bit shrugging. "I think we sa-"
Before he could even talk about Lawrence the ground erupted around them, one hand grabbing his shorts no longer held tight by a belt. His other hand grabbing onto Peyton as they where launched into the air.
When they landed he came down hard his shoulder and arm bashing into the sand before him as he gasped and let out a cry of pain. Even with his shield the impact was strong enough to strike him like a truck. But it kept the arm from breaking.

A sturdy-looking Life Hunter that was handing out bandages from a very large, practical duffel bag stopped just long enough to pass Lin one, barely missing getting crushed by a massive centipede leg herself.

Runic bandage obtained! Heals for 10 HP
Next up was a girl who looked just as worse for wear, she was tossed a bandage too that bounced off her and into the sand for a moment.

The third bandage missed another Hunter it was intended for, rolling down in front of Tobin's feet instead. She threw a second and bounced next to Soleil. Her throwing skills were very poor.

He hit hard, striking away several centipedes, leaving them thrashing broken in the sand -- but still more clung to Ever's legs, slowing his progress. The good news was that he saw a runic bandage fall near Soleil's side, there to help her out.
Melvin 3rd Roll He was doing good so far, and took deep breathes as sand and obsidian limbs were tossing and turning around him, upsetting the ground under his shoes as he moved on to see where everyone else might be gathering and trying to find the one place this beast couldn't form itself.
In that moment another leg of the beast rose and spiked down, tearing against Lawr and pinning Melvin's coat down. "Shitshitshit!" He cried out, untying himself and grabbing Lawr into his arms.
As he looked down to grab his coat, it tore and ripped before sinking into the sand - Rin's half lost into the abyss. Famine took her body. And this creature took the very last piece of her too.
Looking away, he squeezed Lawr tightly in his arms. He wouldn't let it happen again. He couldn't let this happen again. "Stay with me. Please." He whispered before rushing off.
6. Someone grabs a hold of you - wait isn't that the Death lead - and you feel yourself being flung into the air and on top of one o the centipede carapaces. You cling for dear life as it descends slowly, and if you do not summon your weapon to hold on, will immediately fall off. If you do manage to hold on, you can try attacking the boss. Doing so will give you additional Fear charges, allowing you use use charges you depleted last turn. If you fall off, take -5 damage, it is a very long fall.

He felt one of the creatures skittering against his calf, little feelers light against his leg where he'd been bitten before, and the sensation made Ever shudder. Gagging just faintly, he chopped that centipede in half.

Lin caught the bandage automatically, reflexes functioning even through her exhaustion. She stared dumbly at it for a few moments before she realized what it was. Then she clumsily wrapped it around her arm, and she could feel Anax's desperate relief as a small amount of energy seeped back into his shield.

As he scraped the land centipede away, Ever finally staggered forward a couple steps, finally managed to close the distance between himself and Soleil. He dropped to one knee next to her and hesitated.
He looked at the bandages at her side, weak, and then at the slightly better ones he'd found.
As soon as Fredrick had been able to tear his eyes away from horrifyingly huge the titan was and get his feet stable beneath him on the shifting sand, he had turned to run. It wasn't brave, no, but in this situation there was no time for nor logical reasoning to worrying how others might view his actions. If he stayed here, he would die. Even his weapon agreed with him there. If they stayed here, they would die. But apparently he wasn't even good enough at running for his life.
A massive weight crashed into him, knocking him face first into sand before settling and pinning his legs to the ground. God, he couldn't even feel them anymore. Fingers curling helplessly into the sand, Fredrick lifted his head and screamed. Deadrick's presence intensified, struggled to calm him as he clawed for any purchase. The sand will shift, he urged, be ready!
And then they were out, and he was staggering away on bloodied, stinging legs.

You get pinned beneath the massive shape of the titan as you try to move away from it. For a terrifying moment it feels like you can't feel your legs, and then the sand is shifting and you squirm out. Your legs sting, they're bleeding now, beyond the Fear shield, but you have to keep on moving. (10 damage, cannot go below 0 on this post).
