Jager nuzzled his mother gently. "Shh...I'm here." He whispered softly. He looked over at Dashira then backed away next to Jadera, his tail flicked a little as she watched the shaman work.

Leanna wasn't sure what was happening to her, but it felt soothing. The pain was beginning to go away...well physically at least. Her eyes closed as she allowed her body to be healed.

Jadera nuzzled Jager as Dashira worked, knowing that Dashira would be able to heal his mother and taking heart in it. Soon the lovely lioness who lay before her would be well, and she wondered what Leanna would think of her... Suddenly she was nervous, shifting from paw to paw. 'What if she doesn't like me?'

Dashira smiled and stepped back, nodding in satisfaction. Leanna had embraced the healing more than any of her other patients, and it was working wonders as she watched. She shot a smile at Jadera and Jager, nodding. "It will be finished in a few moments..."

((Ok.. Its been awhile.. Doing a TimeSkip...))

Rellick paced back into his Pride months after being out and away. He had left a Queen in charge, thinking she would keep things in order, but it was apparent he had been wrong. Nearing his Pride Lands, he had chased several intruders away, which meant the borders had not been patrolled.
By now, his grandchildren were grown, and had taken to wandering. He was glad of that, for he would not want Nasiri, Cavalia, or Vasire around to witness his return. He could see Naharia and Nitarin awaiting him just inside the border, and nuzzled them as he strode past.
Nearing the mouth of the Den, he roared. "ARELI! Attend me!"
He wanted to know why nothing had been kept in order in his Pride. He wanted to know what her excuse was, and then he would speak to his children and check on the wandering lioness who he had left in Dashira's care.

[...]

Areli bowed her head low to Rellick, her eyes seeming to well. She had never been,... scoulded, by Rellick. "I have no high excuse, Rellick, yet the truth." she paused, raising her head high after she felt that she could speak without tears.
"While I stayed behind, here, at the Den, or hunting with the females, I left Hajari and Fatale to watch the borders together, as Nitarin has been tending to his family, Asakori has seemed to go without much notice lately, and Jager has been attending to his mother. I believed quite strongly, that with Fatale with Hajari to report of any intruders to me, so I may assist the others, all would be well. But when she returned with news of Hajari's dissapearence, I was found wrong. I left Brooke to that matter, since she seemed to have fallen closest to the young male, and it seems he has wandered off with an apparent lover, leaving me little to protect your lands. Times have been rough, King Rellick." she said calmly, trying hard to hide the emotions,... the tears that wanted to fall. She was dissapointed in herself, more than anything.

Rellick pinned his ears, the anger in him swelling, then cracking slightly. He had never been one to let someone be upset... Always he had tried to lift spirits... Areli stood before him with tears in her eyes, and told him of all the sadness that had befallen their home, and he wilted ever so slightly.
"It is alright Areli." He said softly, weariness was in his voice, but the anger was banked... "I have returned home, and I will see things are restored..."
He stepped forward and nosed her gently, speaking in soft tones no other but she would hear. "Have you heard of young Hajari? How fares my daughter? Any word of Jayvyn?"
Pain quivered in his chest at the thought of his mate and family being harmed while he was away. It couldn't have been avoided, but perhaps he should have called a fellow king for aid? No.. That would never have worked. It would have been seen as weakness... "Tell me all, and tell me quick dear Areli, are any of those I love or protect in danger?"

The Second King of Scarlet Shadows was where he always was. On the small rock that hung over the pool of water. Dozing softly in the suns heat. Memories were slow returning and he feared he may never regain all of them. He still loved Rellick, and wasn't going to leave him again.

Vasire rose from the grasses nearby his grandfather. He had heard of the red kings return and, with the state of things, had wished for some sort of fight. Vas was pleased with his grandfathers first reaction but... Of course the King would be worried before mad... He thought, rolling his eyes distainfully as he approached the pair. He had not seen is grandfather for a great while and was eager too, but waited out of hearing range, as was respectable. Oh how he hated playing nice...

Areli forced her tears away, putting on a weak smile. "All is well, Rellick, within the den of course. Jayvyn is doing extremely well. His memories have begun to come back to him, which was quite the reliefe. Fatale and Naharia are both more than well. And of Hajari, I have. When on a hunt, apparently he returned for a time, and spoke with your younger daughter, and she told me that he is currently trying to get his mate to fallow him home, to Scarlet Shadows." she smiled lightly, nodding her head.

[Whoo,.. thanks Soul,.. xD I almost didn't know what to say about Jay... lol.]

Rellick tensed as though he would lash out, muscles cording in his proud, powerful shoulders. His head raised proudly, golden mane glinting, and he rolled his shoulders as though anticipating something, preparing to pounce, to injure... He had done much fighting and hunting while away, and returned even more magnificent... Muscled, angry and worried, he was truly a grand sight. His tailfeathers fairly whistled as they cut through the air.

Nitarin watched his sire with a whisper of worry. Rellick was far stronger than when he had left, and as a young Prince, he knew he could not withstand the King's Wrath. The only one who could calm him was Jayvyn, and for once, Nitarin ferverently wished his other sire was here... Both so he could control his mate, and so he could see Rellick in his new glory. Rage and wrath become a King, no matter what others say. Glancing over at his son, he tried to look upset, but he could only worry. 'Please Vas, don't get too close...'

Rellick nodded stiffly. "You have my thanks for your work Areli, Lady of the Shadows and Eternal Fire Palm... I will handle the wayward Hajari when he returns, for he must know I would not thank him for leaving my realm without so much as a word..."
He sighed. "Would that my mate were here to greet me on his own, but perhaps I shall seek him out myself..."
He turned away, not wanting to direct his rage upon her. Where was his mate? Stars above he needed Jay now more than ever.. Only one creature could tame the fire raging through him.. Could turn it to something sweeter, gentler, though just as fierce, and burning just as hot. A ripple danced over the crimson pelt.
He glanced about, searching for something to calm him and smiled, heart swelling at the sight of Vasire. "Approach me Grandson, a Prince in your own Right. You may join in such a conversation, for you are royalty as much as we..."
He glanced over at his son. "You as well Nitarin, and if your lady would here, I would welcome her as well..."

Nitarin bowed his head and paced over slowly, still staying back. "Greetings Far Wandering Father, and welcome... You have my thanks... My lady and elder sister are out hunting, and perhaps with our daughters..."

"Greetings King Rellick, never as much a king as now." Vasire purred, bowing in the face of such rage, such power. He watched his father, grinning over in his direction as if to say 'I hear you, father... but I couldn't care less.' He approached his grandfather slowly, but still coming closer to the king then his father did. "Though I think..." He rolled his eyes to is grandfathers tail then back up. "You are trying to play the part of the mistral..." He teased.

His dreams were flavored with something nostalgic, and light. What he couldn't tell. Just as the Dark Prince rolled onto his back, a spicy scent was carried to his nose. The breeze tickled him with the scent until he awoke.
Rellick is home, it whispered.
Shaking himself out, he yawned, though managing to gring widely while doing so. His love was home and he'd best go greet him.
Leaping off the rock, he ran for the main caves.

Rellick nodded to his son, then smiled at his grandson. He couldn't be mad at his children, nor his grandchildren it seemed.. Vasire amused him greatly. He gave a soft chuckle. "Greetings son of my son, child of my heart and Prince of this Pride... Perhaps you have the right of it, Vasire... But I do not feel so like singing just now..."
The breeze picked up, and his muscles grew taunt. He was whipcord tense, scenting the strangers who still lurked about the borders of his lands. So then, his presence was not quite known? A feral smile ripped across his face, teeth bared unpleasantly. He threw his head back and roared, the sound rumbling up from his paws, echoing in his great chest, and flowing out of his mouth in a river of sound.
'I'm home...' He thought fiercely. 'I'm home...'
The breeze danced over him, this time from the Pride's depths. He shuddered. There was the scent of night, of cool, calm darkness.. Darkness that flowed into his soul and rubbed against the fire of his rage like muscled velvet. He shivered, and turned, gold eyes searching.

Jayvyn was a blur that tackled Rellick, tossing aside all protocol and manners. The King was greeted with loud purrs, a tongue licking his cheek and a smaller body rubbing against his. Someone was definitely happy to see him.

Rellick's anger shrank back, and the soft ache in his muscles faded as he realized just what it was that had run him over like a stampeding elephant. The dark, lean body atop him was his mate, the heart of his heart.
"Jayvyn." He purred softly, licking the male's dark cheek. "Oh Jay..."
He laughed softly and pushed on the other male's chest, pushing him back so the dear, dark face could come into focus. He smiled widely.
"Have you remembered any more, my Dark One?" He asked softly.

"I remember that Father shoved me off on you to teach me lessons on being Princely." His face was a wreath of grins. "Not that any has sunken in." Evident in how he'd greeted his mate.
