Kaleb smiled, and then lifted the bottom of Riley's sweater so he could wiggle in to where it was warmer. "Thank you so much," he said, snuggling close and poking his nose out to nuzzle what he could reach of Riley's neck.

Kaleb pulled his nose back in and relaxed against Riley, letting his tail curl over his feet and around the side of his partner's waist. He closed his eyes and sighed in a contented manner, not only was he warm, but now he knew for sure he could easily fit into Riley's sweater while Riley was wearing it.

He almost had to laugh. It wasn't Kaleb getting into his pants but it was close. At least he was partially in some of his clothes.

At least now Kaleb didn't think Riley's sweater was too big anymore. It was like a delightfully warm cocoon, and he probably would have been lulled to sleep by the warmth if he had been one to take mid-day naps. It did make him a little drowsy though.

Riley was one to take naps anywhere and everywhere so he was practically asleep with the warmth of the other on him. Given a few more minuets of peaceful silence he'd be asleep.

After a bit the air inside the hoodie got rather stuffy, so Kaleb just poked his nose out the neck and shifted a bit to accommodate that position. He didn't really notice how Riley was starting to fall asleep since his mind was already occupied thinking of a way to make chair cushions waterproof.

By the time Kaleb's nose peaked out of his hoodie he had fallen asleep. He was snoring slightly with the odd position he was sleeping in.

When he heard Riley's snoring, he wiggled a bit and leaned up to see his partner's face to be sure he was really sleeping. The light snore didn't bother him too much, so he felt no need to wake Riley up over something he could put up with, and as long as he was comfortable he wouldn't need Riley's help to get from place to place.

He wouldn't be moving for a long while at this rate. He was warm and comfortable and completely dead asleep.

Kaleb just shook his head and settled back down. He would never know how Riley could just sleep wherever he sat, since unlike his lazy partner, he could only really nap during the day if he was ill or downright exhausted.

The scientists had never figured out how he could sleep anywhere either. He just chalked it up to being stuck on lab tables too long and learning to go to sleep though things.

Although the fresh air seemed to help Kaleb concentrate on whatever it was he was thinking about, he couldn't sit still in Riley's sweater forever, and eventually he started to get squirmy as he tried to find a different position to sit in.

As Kaleb started to squirm he woke up slightly. "Ngh .... don't squirm." That wasn't comfortable and he certainly couldn't sleep with Kaleb doing that.
