Jeff couldn't pull his arm away from Kat, so he had to disentangle his other arm fro Yakov and placed it on Kats forehead. Then shoved. Kat growled for a split second before she looked up and the whole situation finally hit her like a ton of bricks. Kat scrambled back and as far away from Jeff and Yakov as she could.

Yakov pulled Jeff to him immediately and wrapped his arms around him possessively. Jeff's blood was dripping all over him, but he didn't much care.

Jeff couldn't figure out why he was the only sane wolf in the entire house. Kat had come to them for help, or to warn them or whatever, and suddenly everyone except himself was in uber possessive overdrive. Jeff sighed. "Yakov, thanks for the reassuring hug, but could you let go of me now?"
Kat was horrified by the events that had taken place. She put her hands over her face, "Oh god. Oh god. What did I do?! s**t! Oh my god! I'm so sorry. Sorry! This is my fault! Oh god!"

Had Yakov been a wolf at the moment, his hackles would have been up. "No." The no was very flat, nearly emotionless. He knew that Kat didn't mean anything and that it had all been necessary and everything and he trusted her not to do it again unless she was again on the verge of dieing or something, but there was still no way he was letting Jeff go just yet.

Kat was still at the corner of the bed freaking out.

Jeffs eyes flashed in anger. "This isn't the time!" Jeff was sure that if yakov didn't let go of him in five seconds, he was going to do something he regretted.

"Jeff, I just willingly let someone drain your blood, it could have killed you. And while you'd think I'd be used to your blood being all over the place by now, for some reason it still bothers me."

Jeffs emotions were fighting. This just wasn't his night, or anyones for that matter. HE was both touched and pissed by that statement and he wasn't sure which one was going to answer. But before he could open his mouth a wail from Kat distracted him.

Yakov was not exactly fond of the idea, but he finally let Jeff go. They could finish this later.

Jeff ran over to the corner of the bed Kat had curled up on. She tried to scoot away from him but he gathered her up in his arms and silently held her. He waited for her sobs to die down before speaking. "Kat, its not your fault. Shhh. Don't worry about it. Everyones fine. Calm down honey."

"Mmmmm," Kyle stirred and his eyes fluttered open. He was smiling. "Who was that? She was pretty...why am I on the floor?"

Kat had been crying into Jeffs chest, but she stopped once she realized it was doing no good, and since she didn't cry like a normal person, she felt bad for staining his shirt with more blood. "Jeff, I'm so sorry. I've just been...I'm sorry. I havn't eaten in six days and I'm worried. I havn't heard from Curtis since then. I don't know where he is or if the girls are alright."

Holly growled, nudged the bruising bite marks and his neck and stalked away.

Yakov lost it. He had to leave. The world was officially crumbling to bits. He got up and wandered outside to have his breakdown in private.

Kyle cringed at the nudge and watched her stalk off. He sat up and rubbed his neck. He couldn't remember why his neck hurt. He didn't know what had happened. He watched as Yakov came down the stairs then left outside before he ask him what had happened. Kyle just sat there, totally stunned.

Jeff heard Yakov leave but couldn't do much in ways of stopping him now. "Honey, you said earlier that 'they' knew what you were and were after you. SO the town is after you? Like everyone with pitchforks and torches or what?"
Kat sniffled slightly and her voice wavered. "It's like, they have no control of themselves. They kept saying they were ordered to take me. I...I didn't stick around long enough to figure out what that meant. I'm sorry.
