"I used to think the same way as you. Running away from your past always seems easier, but experience with Fenrir taught me that doing that only puts yourself in a state of stasis. Unable to face your past, you become unable to fully progress. You cannot grow, because whether you like it or not the experience of what you did helps to define who you are today. Thus without your past, you lose identity, and cannot move on as your full self. Fenrir realized this for himself, and thats why he so vigilantly chases the mystery of his past with so much determination." Arete said, again shedding a sense of wisdom onto the Queen. He vividly remembered Fenrir saying something similar to him those years ago, after Arete had explained why he, a prince, had abandoned his family and homeland in exchange for thievery and adventure.
"Ah, so you noticed the dogtags huh?" Arete smirked and sipped what was left of his tea. "Well contrary to what some might think, the dogtags actually aren't an artifact from his past. He wasn't even in the military. They were custom-made and given to him by Gunner shortly before his departure from our little group. Its funny really, Gunner handed them to Fenrir while saying "Never forget who you are." He said that, even while knowing that Fenrir wasn't his real name. The dogtags are symbolic to Fenrir, really. It was purposely made out of silver, so that he could always remember that while he has weaknesses, so long as he recognizes them and shows no fear they cannot hurt him. The word FENRIR engraved in it reminds him of both what he has become today, but then again it reminds him to always seek out who he really is because it is not his true identity."

Arete douse sound like wise man of not running away from your past. Such words that she always heard before many times from many people. Which is why she couldn't really take it all in. She would agreed that it's true and she wont have her past effect her now... but it would be very hard to face it... Just like that time when she saw a glimpse of Jasper.
"My, that's some tell!" She seam astonish from how the story go's from the Dogtag. Such ally giving that gift to symbolizing that. "Who is this Gunner, may I ask?" She asked him before she took a sip from her cup. Sure it sound like one of Fenrir's old friend, but is he exactly?

"Gunner is a draconian I traveled with shortly before we picked up Fenrir." Arete simply answered. "A lot about him is still a mystery, even to me. He didn't like to talk about himself very much, you see. All I can tell you is that despite his laziness and smoking addiction he's one of the most genius mechanists I've ever seen. A lot of the...uhh..."jobs" I used to do couldn't have been pulled off without his help." he stopped from admitting to his past robberies. It could become disastrous if the Queen discovered he was really a wanted thief and criminal. Arete coughed into his fist before continuing. "Like me, I believe Gunner was running from something in his past. Since then though I can't tell you too much about him. I don't even know where he is anymore."

"Hmmm... How mysterious~" Karo said, getting a little fun out of the odd person. She took the last sip from her cup till it's completely gone and set it on the table. She grab a cupcake and took a bit fro it, still wanting to get some sweets in her mouth. "What about his silver dagger? Was that one from Gunner as well?" She menchin it. She gave the nicely silver dagger back to Fenrir after that event of him turning full werewolf in her palace.

Arete shook his head. "Nope. That one was from me." he grinned and flicked his wrist out to have a small dagger instantly pop into his hand. Its look was a bit strange, not just from its curved blade but it seemed to shimmer with varying light, as if it were alive and moving. "As a berzerker Fenrir never cared to practice any weapon styles, but for some reason the knife seemed to gravitate to him. He just didn't have an eye for any other kind of weapon. I remember I used to always wonder why that was. Why would a simple knife be the exception to his rule of fighting with just his bare hands? It wouldn't be until later that I would learn exactly why that was...." Arete found himself glancing away, saying those last words in a kind of sigh.

Kora swallow up her cupcake, having the yummy sweat bread with sugary icing. "What did you found out?" She asked, hearing that Arete's found out why Fenrir liked the dagger. Kora gotten her eye on the smooth blade that he drew out from his hand. It's seam like it's special.

"Because no other weapon has impacted his life so greatly." Arete sighed again and fingered his empty tea cup. "I know this because I read his memory once, and saw the few recovered bits he'd saved up." Then he looked into Kora's eyes. Maybe she wasn't ready to hear this story yet. "Sometimes Fenrir's past influences how he behaves today. His likes and dislikes are still subconsciously embedded in his mind, and in fact one of these instances has to deal with why of all people who have crossed him in the past he has refrained from killing you..."

Kora have her eye's turn away the silver colored blade over to Arete face. Locked onto him, thinking what he just said. There was actually a reason why he was holding back killing her? Was there something so deep sometime in his past that he doesn't want to role threw it again? Kora would like to know what reason what cause him to not kill her, something in his pass... but.... this is getting too deep into someones personal life. It's best to stop it here for another time.... or at least hear it from Fenrir himself.
Kora glanced over to a window, seeing that it gotten darker quickly. "Well times sure do fly by quickly. It's already getting dark." She said with a little smile and turn back to him. "I'm so sorry that I've been keeping you up from all these question about Mister Fenrir, when I should be ask about you. Will you have time of tilling me a bit of yourself?" She asked if he still want to have time to talk. Kora will be able to play a short play on the piano on it, than she could head off to bed.

"Well, I just turned 19 a few days ago." Arete replied and remembered the party he just attended. In a way he supposed it could've been counted as his party as well, since he didn't celebrate his own birthday with anyone rather there was nobody he knew he could celebrate with. "As for likes and dislikes, well I like most things. There are few things I don't like. I love music, dancing, reading, telling stories, and playing guitar. If there was anything I could say I don't like it would be war, oppression, and the hatred of other people." He smiled at her before taking another sip of his tea. "What about you?"

"Oh! Well happy late birhtday than!" She said in a kind tone. It's to baf she couldn't join in his birthdya as will. "Well I'm 19 too. I Like planty of things as well, mostly on my books and the forest... What I really don't like are sloppy joys! They're so mushy and grows looking." She sticked her toung in deskuse as she told about it.
She thank thought for it bit. "I shoud be go get some rest soon. Would you like to hear one or two soung in the piano before heading to bed?" She asked him, to end the day.

Kora Summer< Theme song>< Battle theme> Strength: 2 Speed: 4 Energy pool: 1595 "Alright than." She said, standing up from her chair and whipped any crumbs on her hands agents her dress. She than walked over to the piano that is in the room once her hands seam clean enough. She took a seat on the little seat and have her finger tips over the piano keys. She took the time to think of what to play to Arete. There's a lot that she remember in her head, but witch one is proporit to her guess? Well there's always a nice song about the great sea with a good beat. "This music is called "He's a Pirate"." She told the name to Arete that is behind him. As soon she said that, she made her fingers fly threw the notes.
Once she finished that song, she thinks she had time for at least one more. "This next one is "In the End". I kinda like it because it gives some feeling to it." She said once more. The song kinda sounds the same when she losted Silver. Always lost and forgotten, but that's all just the feeling. She waits for Arete's response on her play on the piano.

Arete listened to the harmonious tune of the Queen's first song. It seemed to resonate with him in some way. As she went on to play the second song though, Arete walked up behind Kora and gently placed his hands on her shoulders and bent his head down so he could watch her play from over her shoulder. Perhaps it was just because of how sad the tune sounded, but he felt that the song made Kora remember of less happier times. "That was very beautiful." he smiled peacefully to praise Kora's work. As he expected, her playing was well worth the wait to hear it.
