Rellick laughed deeply and nuzzled the dark male. "Indeed he did.. He gave me a spoiled Dusk Prince, and I made you a Spoiled Dark King..." His heart felt lighter at the news. Jay remembered! Perhaps everything would return, perhaps they could be what they were again... He licked Jay's muzzle. "I am overjoyed to see you again, my DarkOne."

"I have a feeling he knew this was going to happen." He purred louder, licking back. Rubbed his head against Rellick's shoulder to leave his scent there. And that's where it would stay. Rellick was his. The possessive thing he was. "And I, you."

Areli had sat herself off to the side, smiling at the two males. It was great,... to see them happy again, like they were before Jay had dissapeared the first time. It warmed her to know the two were happy, especially Rellick. She rolled on her back, streaching for a momen, before rolling lazily back onto her side, and she had noticed a black and blue blur before hearing it.
"Father!" Fatale bounded into the den faster than she had ever moved, turning to Rellick. She stopped herself just a ways away from her fathers, smiling from ear to ear. Though she was usually quiet and shy, when it came to her family,... she was probably one of the most giggly, bouncy lions ever.

Brooke's head lifted and her ears pricked suddenly. The winds that swirled about her whispered of change. Change and return. She rose to her paws, every muscle tense as she stood straining to hear more. Ever Jax, then Rellick, and then Hajari had left, the blue lioness had been feeling very low on spirits, so that not even Areli could cheer her up. But now... something was on the wind. She left the shadows of the back of the den, just as a familiar scarlet shape entered, and she felt her heart skip a beat. Rellick! Her beloved king - the first lion she had ever dared attach herself to - had returned! "I-is that really..." Her joy overcame her and she said no more, even forgetting that somehow she had never quite trusted Jayvyn. She had learned to live with it. Jay made Rellick happy, and that in turn lifted Brooke's spirits beyond imagination, and she padded out to join the others in welcome home the Scarlet King.
"What in the-" Jax stopped at the border to his home pride, looking around in shock. It seemed so much had gone on since he had left and found Sin, and just by looking back into the pridelands, he could tell the pride had fallen on hard times. He couldn't help but feel guilt swell up inside him. While those he loved had stayed behind to keep the pride going, he had snuck off without so much as a word. He felt a frown appear on his brow, and snuck a glance at the magenta lioness beside him. Then he opened his muzzle and let out a roar that filled the sky and called out. He was home.
Brooke's head whirled around. That roar... She knew that roar. "It can't be..." She whispered to herself. But then that same roar came again, and the blue lioness felt her heart soar. "Areli! It's Jax!" She cried joyously, bounding over to her best friend with energy that she had not felt in so long. "Jax is home!"

The crimson lioness stayed next to Jax, she was a foreigner to this pride and her violet orbs were full of curiousity to see if she would be accepted. She stayed close enough to Jax that her fur brushed against his and she could feel his warmth which she found quite comferting. She watched the lands and shifted into his side as he roared. She wouldn't say anything about her acceptance it seemed that the pride had been in peril according to Jax's suprise so she would not ask for attention and pull heself into selfeshness.

Jax nuzzled Sin. "It's just... different." He said with a sigh. "I don't really even know why it feels different, it just does..." He shook his head. "I should never have left." Then he seemed to realize what he had said and added hasitly, "Not that I regret it. I mean, I regret it, but if I hadn't left I wouldn't have ever met you, Sin..." He finally managed to say, trailing off pathetically as he stared at the ground. Oh, she had that way of making him jumble all his words up. And he liked that about her.

She watched him get tongue tied and smiled softly, it was cute. "I know what you mean Jax." she replied softly, her tones obviously into a deep affection for the male. Her eyes held the same happiness that her smile lives up to, Briseis had told her that her smile was genuine and made others smile just by her own expression. The female was wise so she believed her, that and she was close to Adrastos and she found that both were loyal. She purred softly echoing his nuzzle, as she looked back to the lands.

Rellick's joyous reply to his mate was cut off as he gave the Den a glance, nodding a hello to all within. He paused and listened to the roar, sighing... Ahhh.. One he needed to speak to returned... It was always something in Scarlet Shadows. With a sigh he rolled over, moving Jay gently to the side so he could stand and give himself a good shake.
"It seems our wanderer has returned..." He murmured, smiling at Brooke. "One of them anyway... Shall we go greet him?"
He paced over and nuzzled Fatale, purring softly in greeting. "It seems I am called to the border yet again..."

"Oh, definitely!" Brooke nodded her head vigorously, the expression on her face akin to a cub's childish joy at their first day out of the den. She knew that perhaps Rellick would wish to properly greet all those in his pride, but at the moment, she could hardly stop her paws from dancing. She didn't know what else to do. Jax would never have stopped at the border of his home if it was not something that held him there.

Rellick smiled and gave another stretch. "Well then, let us go welcome home our wanderer..." He nosed Brooke gently, letting her know she could come along, and cast his gaze away to search for Nitarin. The Dark Prince smiled at his father and nodded, they would speak later. "Areli?" He asked in his authoritive voice.

Areli had fallen into her own little dream world, everything murmured outside going in one ear, and out the other. Even the voice of Brooke, mentioning the return of the lioness's son, hadn't clicked in her mind right away, but when it did, Areli lightened up quite quickly. Her eyes widened and seemed to glow with happiness, and a smile grew from ear to ear. He's back! He's home! Jax has come home! Finaly! I thought he'd never return! She practicly wanted to bounce around with happiness, though kept her cool, for the most part.
It was only the voice of her old friend that brought her back to reality. "Areli?" She perked up, looking at Rellick. "Oh, Yes, Rellick?" She smiled again, cocking her head to the side slightly, in a cute, happy manner, before calming herself with a long breath.

Rellick chuckled and rolled his eyes, though his face was one of amused tolerance. She did have a tendency to get excited... But.. Well.. No matter. "Would you like to accompany me to the Border to greet our returned pride member?" He arched his brow at her, knowing her answer would be yes. If he could get this done quick enough, he could get back and talk to his son while the rest of the pride greeted Jax...
Nitarin wanted to talk to his father, desperately, but... Well... Rellick was a King first, right now at least... He was needed at the border and... The Dusk Prince new he could wait. With a final smile he left the Den and paced through the lands, searching for his lovely mate. He needed to wrap himself around Insiri... Needed to be near her. "Beloved."
Insiri appeared out of the landscape like magic. She lay by the lake, considering the water as her midnight coat gleamed against the emerald grass. At the sound of steps, she lifted her head and smiled, heart swelling. Nitarin. The only light in her life until they had made a family... The love of her life... He looked so sad... So lost... So terribly alone... It wounded her heart, and she rolled onto her side, prepared to roll on her back and offer her throat in submission... It was only a gesture, but usually seeing her like that made him smile. She rolled over.
Nitarin didn't smile, even as his love looked at him upside down. He needed to cuddle with her, but he couldn't say it out loud. He was a Prince. He shouldn't show weakness like this... But he couldn't help it. He made it to her and fairly collapsed, draping his body over her's and burying his face in her chest. He inhaled her soft, sweet scent as sobs raked through his form. She wrapped her paws around him and held him close, grooming the top of his head in a soothing manner, purring softly.
"Shhh." She murmured, nuzzling him. They stayed that way for a long time...

She quickly calmed herself, returning to her usual self. "I would, Rellick." she nodded her head cooly, keeping it bowed slightly for a moment. Though she was Queen, he was still superior. Areli's gaze wandered to the boarder, and she couldn't help but to let her smile return alittle. She had her son back, finaly. She had hoped that he'd return soon,... "Shall we got then?" She streached slightly, closing one eye in the process, keeping the other open to watch Rellick. She then stood straight, cracking her neck slightly, before looking back to Rellick.

Only Areli could match Brooke's excitement to the news of Jax's return. Indeed, she had no idea when she had grown so attached to the little lion. No, not little anymore. The brown lion towered so far above her she almost felt dwarfed in his presence at times. One had only to put Jax and Cade together to see how different the two were, and it made it all the more obvious that they were not of the same father.
They had minimal similarities, yes, such as in their eyes - it must have been their mother. They both had that same glint in their eyes, and even if Cade did stand in a more submissive stance than his half brother, when they drew themselves up they both had the same stance. Even if the dappled gray lion was smaller and more slenderly built. They were almost polar opposites the two. One obviously boasted strength and power, while the other wanted nothing but knowledge.
"Oh, yes, let's! Definitely!" In her joy and excitement, one could almost glimpse the frivolous little cub she once had been, or at least once could have been. She had never been the most playful of cubs, but in that one moment there shimmered a image of her joyful side, the side that could have been but was not.
((Oooh, Rini! It's your tag in the Cade/Fatale arpee xD))

Rellick considred the two excited females, smiling in an understanding way. They were an amusing pair, so happy... And they hadn't even gotten to the border to greet the newly returned lion... Well, Jax was lucky to have such a homecomming party, and he didn't even know it! The crimson pelted king bowed his head. "Well then, let's go greet Jax..."
