Pretty good.. you?

Just finished catching up on a new comic my current semi-girlfriend introduced me to.

Well, I add semi because we're far from exclusive, and people seem to assume these days that if someone says "girlfriend" or "boyfriend" it implies exclusive-ness and a certain degree of long-term-ness as well. She has a long-term boyfriend she's living with and has been with for two years; they just have an open relationship, so her and I can cuddle and kiss (and even do more, if we decide to) without him being upset or it being considered "cheating." However, he and her are really more suited to the terms "boyfriend/girlfriend," whereas her and I are really just "friends with benefits."

If you understand all that, I give you a great deal of credit.

It is interesting. Involves a lot of Live Action Sailor Moon, strangely enough. And, more recently, some making out as well.. which I can't complain about.

Keeps me from feeling lonely, which is really all I can ask for, at this point. More than that is just a bonus.

Indeed.. 'twas. I get lonely quite easily, I'm afraid, and in a big way. So if there's anything I can do about it, I never stay single very long.

This relationship suited us both. She already has someone to be with in the long-term... just looking for something new and exciting that won't get in the way of the relationship she's serious about keeping. Since I'm leaving for Rochester in less than a month, she has no worries there. Me, I needed someone who was okay with being close to me until I left for Rochester, but wouldn't miss me too much once I left. So, really, based on our current situations, we're quite perfect for each other.

As for other factors... we get along quite nicely, seem to think on the same level, and enjoy many of the same activities. So we're compatable on that front as well.

All in all, I'm quite lucky I found her, and hope to stay friends with her even after I leave and this is all over.
