Abandoned Dreams Shiro - Umm... Ashram - xp Whatever. No pictures of AD's face. It's my brother's spanish sword, actually. I didn't have my katana yet when I took the picture. Bah! You're no fun Hmm...I thought the sword was shorter than it actually is. (hurray for angles) Katana, you say? Yum Yum! That reminds me... (needs to practice more with Bokken) It is my dream to one day own an authentic Japanese katana. (preferably from the Masamune lineage)

Sorry, I'm never any fun. xd Not when it comes to swords, anyway. Swords are rather important to me. As they are to all Deli Ninjas.
Yesh. Katana. On my wall. A Christmas present from a friend, whom I said I would have married if she had not been female.
It would be cool to own an authentic one, but only if you got the chance to use it.

Abandoned Dreams Sorry, I'm never any fun. xd Not when it comes to swords, anyway. Swords are rather important to me. As they are to all Deli Ninjas. Yesh. Katana. On my wall. A Christmas present from a friend, whom I said I would have married if she had not been female. It would be cool to own an authentic one, but only if you got the chance to use it. I take it you were very pleased with it. How good of quality is it? If I recall correctly...they still give katanas to the officers of the Japanese army...Hmm... Have you ever watched the instructors of Aki-ken or Iaido(sp?) use their swords on bamboo rods wrapped in layers of (what appears to be) hay? The cuts are so clean...Beautiful, beautiful... You sound like you'd approve of an idea I had. (and wanted to write about) The revival of the warrior class. biggrin

Ashram - Not TOO good, actually; it's decorative. But I enjoy it thoroughly, particularly because it fits with IC (which you don't know, so ignore that) and it looks nice under my angel wings nailed to the wall.
No, I haven't. That sounds nice, though. Maybe I'll research it a bit.
Revival of warrior class? That would be rather cool. It'd give me more career options outside of "therapist."

If it were set up like the way the Japanese did many years ago...you would have been trained in the ways of warriorship from birth. Course...there would be the chance of you not being alive for long (after the age of about...I'd say 14) but hey... I thought it was rather interesting when I learned that women samurai were not as uncommon as most people think. The only form of weaponry I have is my Bokken (practice sword) and a replica of the Scorpion King's sword. (which I have not seen sweatdrop A friend of mine gave it to me) I would have more...but my mother is a little...edgy around large pointed objects. xd

Ashram : XD yah, I asked myself the same thing when I started computer art last december. ^___^ still do sometimes. It all comes with experience. soon the stuff you think is "OMFG IMPOSSIBLE" becomes quite ...regular. o.o
Shading/coloring/CG? *shrug* my mind fills it in for me. I never have to think about art. well,sometimes, but not often. XD it just..comes.
Photoshop? OMG EVIL PROGRAM! @__@ stab it! now! gonk
but..*cough* as with every program, just fiddle around with the tools. all you really need are paintbrush + eraser and a GENERAL understanding of layers.
Shiro means..lineart as in.. *shrug* uncolored art. Art that has not been CG'd, so just the pure lines. and sweatdrop thank you.
Ryuu : But I had to FIND my style. o.o you can't expect to get a proper unique style by constantly emulating others. *scolds playfully* x3
