Holly perked up instantly. "So, Kyle's going to be okay?"
Alejandro nodded. "Yes nina, now if you could please go make the solution."
Holly nodded and ran to the kitchen.
Alejandro turned back to Kyle's father. "Now, you were saying something about a problem."

Kyles dad stared at Ally. "So its an old wives tail then?"
Jeff had relaxed tremendously now that he knew everyone was going to be alright. He sighed and leaned against yakov.

Alejandro shook his head. "Yes, and no. It is not actually the garlic that kills, much like stakes do not actually kill. It is simply a way to get those of us who travel alone to starve to death. Also, internal garlic is even easier to deal with."
Yakov held Jeff close and moved tendrils of wet hair off his face.

Kyles father nodded. "Makes sense. It's just a weakening agent. Much like HIV but you can get rid of garlic. So how are you going to deal with the whole situation with your mate?" He gestured to Kat.
Jeff smiled down at Yakov totally oblivious to the conversation happening behind them.

Kyles father gave him an 'oh really now?' look. "Well she does seem something special to you. But we need to get them out of the shower so they can drink the solution."
Jeff kissed Yakov on the cheek, "I can deal with me dieing, I cannot deal with you dieing. And thats a fact."

Alejandro nodded he lifted Kyle out and handed him to his father and then he picked up Kat.

Kyles dad held Kyle and set him down against the wall. "Jeff, you said you were infected as well. Why aren't you delusional?"
"Oh, I've been poisoned before." He said after he finished kissing Yakov back.

Yakov smiled. "He has quite the habit of trying to die on me."
Holly ran in with and extremely terrible smelling solution and two glasses.

Kyles dad took one of the glasses and held it so Kyle could drain it. It was hard since Kyle didn't want to drink it. Finally Kyle groaned and made nasty faces.

Holly was at Kyle's side in seconds. "Is he alright."
Alejandro took the other glass and forced the liquid down Kat's throat.

Kyle squinted at Holly and his Dad. "Dad?" he muttered and shuttered.
Kat gasped and sputtered, trying to get the vile liquid out of her system. She felt weaker by the second.
Jeff stood back and watched.

Holly grabbed a hold of Kyle's hand and kissed it.
Alejandro looked up at Jeff. "She needs blood."
Yakov put a hand on Jeff's chest. "No, I'll do it."

Kyle looked over at the blurry Holly. "What?" He croaked. His father held him close.
Jeff stared at Yakov then turned to Ally, "Can't you give her some of yours?"

Alejandro shook his head. "The blood of a vampire is dead and useless to her."
Luka had long since tired of conversation and already had her wrist in Kat's mouth.
