Kyle was confused. "What happened?"
Jeff looked over at Luka and just stared.
Kat had trouble breaking the skin but eventually found herself sucking down Lukas blood.

Holly stared at him. "I almost got you killed."

Kyles Dad smiled down at him, "She didn't almost get you killed. The HWP seems to have been up to the same old thing."
Kat was so hungry her eyes had turned to the red that came with being a vampire. She was once again, blind to the world except for the glorious blood she had.

Kyle's dad now had the attention of most of the room. "The what?"

Kat could tell her prey was getting weaker, and started to drink deeply.

Yakov snorted. "Well, then they will absolutely love me."

Luka let Kat drink for a few more seconds and then growled and tore her arm out of Kat's mouth.

Jeff laughed. and Kyles dad smiled, "Thought I think they would hate Jeff more. The picturesque white male, not only a were but gay, and with a black man." He shook his head and laughed.
Kyle was shocked to hear what his father was saying. "Wait...rewind...what?"
Kat gurgled a strangled yelp as she fell backwards away from Luka. She blinked up at Luka as the blood trickled down her chin.

Jeff rolled his eyes."Right. Anyways, I think everyone here would be quite interested in your extended knowledge of weres and our enemies?"
Kyles dad held up his left hand and flashed his silver wedding band. "I;m married to one."
Kyles jaw dropped. "What!?"

Kyle was freaking out. "Why didn't you tell me?! We never talk about Mom!!! Is that why!?" Kyles dad shrugged, "It just, never seemed like a good time."
Jeff started laughing.
Kat was curled up in he corner of the bathroom trying not freak out too much. There were too many people in close proximity and she had been drinking off of luka and absolutly confused.

Yakov elbowed Jeff in the ribs and whispered. "Not the time."
Luka smiled at Kat. "Don't worry hun. You're actually relatively safe now."

Jeff covered his mouth and tried not to snicker.
Kyle was still gaping at his father who was shrugging. "Jeff, if you don't mind, I don't feel right moving Kyle too far yet, can he stay here?" His father asked.
Kat stared at Luka. Finally after a second she stood up and wobbled a bit before trying to make it to the door.

Alejandro grabbed a hold of Kat. "Not yet. You are not well. Please sit."
Holly looked up at Jeff, pleading with him to say yes.

Kat frowned at Ally. She just wanted to sleep and pretend none of this was happening. She slid out of his grip and down to the floor.
Jeff sighed, "Yes, you and he are always welcome here."
Kyles father nodded and sighed, "I trust you which is why I was waiting for you guys to tell me what you were. But I figured Kyle knew." He smiled at his son, "I'll be back later, after my shift is done. I don't want to have to explain this to anyone at the ward." He laughed.
