Ryuuhou Harukaze Its teh killer Deli Land, probably a swamp/plain killer Land. Perhaps, perhaps...but then it could only kill white and black "creatures" Which would make it vulnerable to Hispanic and Chinese land killers. biggrin

Psh, everyday? x__X nott~~~ and the quest forum doesn't see much art so they're just amused by the newness of it all. yes.
Songjewel>> @____@ seperate layer for EACH link? gonk *so glad she doesn't draw chains often* XD
...wow. XD;; poor Songjewel. ^^ *has no such patience*
memai>> Oooo nifty~~ :3 I like how you did the cape ^_____^ I've never had to draw one of those thankfully, but the NM scarf on my auction winner's piece practically killed me. XD

Memai > Woo! That piece is awesome. I love the you used. And, as everyone has pointed out, that cape is v wicked. 3nodding
And hOMG You use minimal layers too?? <3
AD > ... Your trading card is badass. xd
Wifeh! > Why do I need to be MEAN to be effective?! If you can be proper and professional about what you'r critiquing, there is no need for cruelty! Like I NEED to be responsible for shattering the fragile ego of the artist!
Pffft, yeah. Everyday. Doesn't have to be in the quests. It's other places too. You're just horribly blind and need help.
... Too much happened. So that's my catch up for the day.

Ashram - Actually, I don't know what "Land" means... I thought it was range or habitat or something... Seeing as how I'm not an airborne nor aquatic Deli Warrior, I thought "land" was appropriate.
Lang - Thanks. This, I know!

Memai: two things...
1) The cape is W I C K E D! to a T xd ... and that "GunBlade" weapon looks VERY nice... I must also comment on the perspective you gave him... It really helps the piece set the mood of angst and badassness. 3nodding and the angelic wings is a V. nice contrast of it all xd and the shirt flowing with the cape adds wicked to da x-treme xp
2) the contractor was already here, but when he saw the naked kiddies in your sig, he freaked, and ran away screaming something about a videotape and cursing his wife and the internet. neutral ... pretty weird fellow if you ask me stare .
AyDee: gonk what about what?!?! It's true and you know it. blaugh
And Memai is my helpful little assistant, seeing we be teh awesome-est duo since... iono... John Wayne and... some younger cowboy who followed him and stuff >_>
yeah
........ W T F?!?!?! xd I must add the card to the ever-growing shrine of the Deli-Artsy-Ranty Queen!!!!wuntoo!
and on a random note.... I know who's more stubborn biggrin

Memai>> I pretty much agree with what Shiro had to say about your commission art. The cape is very stylish and flowing, but you may have gone a little overboard with the number of "rips" on the cape. xd (that's just my personal opinion) The gunblade, however, is very well done. 3nodding
The only thing that confused me was the figure's stance. Upon further inspection I saw that you made the stance a little more...how do I say...believable with the right leg in the position it is in. (even though we can't see the full leg, only a little) But at first glance, the stance is a bit awkward, he's almost "too" straight, and the postioning of the head threw me off a little as well because of this. (but then I saw what you were trying to do when further inspecting the right leg)
I really like the face and the hair. I've kind of prided myself with the way I can draw hair, but yours is very well done. The style suits the figure well. And to just echo Shiro, the angelic wings do nicely to add a little contrast to the piece, along with the "white lights" surrounding the figure.

Dude you guys, it's not THAT much of a b***h. I use c/p for the chain links. I just have to erase certain parts, adjust the orientation, and do the lighting on each link...okay, it IS annoying...
AD - an eye!! I can see an eye in your sig!! I just remembered...I've seen your face!! AHAHAHAHAHA! The loveliness of the "grinning suggestively at Lang" face!

Ashram - Actually, I just stole the base image from a Magic: The Gathering site. It said "Land," so I figured that was as good as anything.
Shiro - *raises eyebrow*
Sj - ...Oh, CRAP! You're right!

Kee, thanks for the comment/critiques guys >w<
Lang >> Yes! Minimal layers all the way, baby xd
Ashram >> Remind me to hire you everytime I need a critique for a pic @w@;;
My Photoshop has a tendency to blur some of the minimal but important shading in a pic when exporting to a .jpg file gonk I just wish my Fireworks is tablet-friendly crying
Shiro >> 1. Buh, have you seen the way I draw NM scarfs? whee (I've got one in my DA gallery from sometime ago).
2. Keehee, but it's cute @w@;;
SJ >> Have you tried using the 'Jill Dilon' layer technique (not much of a technique...just how you would basically color on different layers)...it requires very minimal layer usage D:

Shiro - It would seem that way. o.O stare xd
Memai - That's the method I started with when I first got Photoshop. I'm surprised anyone else has heard of it.
