Holly looked up. "Somewhere it's five am and some morning person has already gotten up, had their morning jog, made breakfast, and is whistling happily on their way to work."

For once, Yakov did not wake up with Jeff. The stress had finally caught up with him and he was staying asleep.

Jeff sighed, he kissed Yakovs cheek then got up and slipped a pair of pants on. He headed downstairs and made himself a few slices of toast.

Yakov stirred in his sleep when Jeff left. He pulled the blankets tighter around himself. Eventually though, he woke up. He blinked at the empty side of the bed and it took his brain several minutes to actually realize it was empty. He bolted out of bed, threw on some pants and ran downstairs. He found Jeff in the kitchen and latched onto him.
