Username: Kagetsukiko RPC name: Nai Free skill: No Type of skill: Chaos Skill name: Fragmented Identity Rank: S Limits: Must somehow be able to control chaos through either a talent, bloodline, sin, etc.. Skill description: Fragmented Identity sends the user's current physical body into chaos to create a completely new identity within five separate posts that are at least 10 good sentences long. Smell, taste, looks, nothing remains recognizable. Even the energy changes. Although, if the user has Chaotic Energy, the energy remains muddled, just in a different form. People with the ability to identify energy will be unable to recognize the energy and are extremely unlikely to connect the muddled energy of the current form to the muddled energy of the previous form. This appearance change is completely random (however, for rp purposes, only parts of it is actually random) save for age, which can be determined by the user to a point. To determine the necessary factors for one's new identity, several dice are rolled during the five post process. The process as a whole, while simple, takes a long time, a full rp day to be exact (3 real life days), during which the user is completely helpless. Furthermore, Fragmented Appearance cannot be used continuously, and a long wait time must be given between changes (1 real life month). Post 1- User simply starts up the change. Body begins to disfigure, but nothing certain can be seen. Post 2- Age is decided. User decides on which decade they wish to be aged to (ex: between 11 and 20 years old, between 51 and 60 years old). The lowest age is 1 and the highest age is 60. The user then rolls a ten-sided dice to determine their specific age (ex: chose 1 to 10 years old interval and rolled a 5 so the user is 5 years old). Post 3- Hair/eye color is decided. User rolls a six-sided dice: 1 is pink/red, 2 is orange/yellow/brown, 3 is green, 4 is blue/purple, 5 is black, 6 is white/gray. This color applies to only the hair or the eye (rper chooses at the very last post). The color for the body part that wasn't rolled for is up to the rper. Post 4- Gender is decided. User rolls a four-sided dice: odds create a male, evens create a female. Post 5- This is where everything is decided and finalized. Up until now, the user's skin has been a bubbling mess that gave away only hints of the decisions that had been made. At this point, the skin smoothes out to reveal a completely new appearance. Sample: Nai stumbled into the world of the sins through the rip she had made. On the other side was the vast ocean. Here, she knew that the hunters wouldn't be able to track her. Her scent was completely lost and there was no one she knew of who could reach this place. Closing the rip behind her, the girl collapsed into a tired heap. Sloth was a lazy sin, but using him still took a large chunk out of her stamina. Despite the annoyances of the sin, who felt that trying to get up was too much trouble, Nai forced herself to stand. After wavering around a bit, the girl started the arduous process of changing herself. She needed to complete it before too much of her scent seeped into the area around her. Placing both hands over her face to concentrate, the girl began. Beneath her fingers, she felt her skin shift and within her she felt the chaos rip around through her body. The sensation was strange, but not necessarily painful. *time skip* After completing the process, Nai had collapsed into an exhausted heap. Now, though, she was awake. Opening her bright blue eyes, the girl lifted her dark body off of the ground. The bangs of her black hair fell over her face. Oh, wait, no. Nai couldn't be referred to as "she" anymore. Right, now the former girl was a boy. No, a man at about 24 years of age. Everything about her had changed. Well, no, her hair was the same color. Still, though, that was about it even for her hair. Other than the color, nothing about it matched its original appearance. Nai tested her voice. Instead of the childish sound that used to come it, a more lower voice sounded from her throat. She even smelled different. The skill was a success. RPC name: Tsubasa Sonitus-Confuto but rp sample uses someone else named Sora. Free skill: Yes Type of skill: Minstrel/Bard Skill name: Taming Tune Rank: C or A Limits: Must have an instrument and be able to learn minstrel skills. Must remain in one spot while playing the A-rank version but can move around while playing C-rank version. However, cannot do anything to harm the targets during either version. Four post cool-off period. Skill description: At C-rank, the soothing and trusting notes of Taming Tune can be used to tame wild animals to become the caster's pets, summons, etc. To tame wild animals, the song must be played for an amount of posts equal to the amount needed to train a skill of the animal's rank. During those posts, a six-sided dice must be rolled once each post. If a 5 or a 6 is rolled, than the animal is at peace for the next post. After the end of the needed amount of posts, the sum of all of the rolls must be found. The sum must exceed the following amounts (different for each rank) for the creature to be tamed: E- 9 D- 15 C- 21 B- 30 A- 45 S- 70 SS+- 70*(# of S's) At A-rank, Taming Tune can be used to render the summons of others, including biochemists and necromancers, unless the summons have had a spell similar to a necromancer's Unholy Frenzy cast on them before the music began taking effect on them. While it lasts for 5 posts, the summons will only be hypnotized by the music by the second post. For a post after the song is finished, the summons will start to wake up, but will still be unable to enter the battle again until the second post after the song is finished. Sample: Sora couldn't help but think to herself as she worried about being outnumbered two-to-one, literally. However, she had a tune and there was no time to waste. As soon as the match was started, she began to play the Taming Tune and, before the summons of the biochemist could even reach her, she had successfully subdued them… for now. With no time to waste, the girl immediately ran, sending out a signal for help that she hoped her friends would recognize and head towards.

I'm not officially a skill checker Kagetsukiko... But this thing? Has to be at least A-rank. I'd prefer S-rank. You're changing everything about your character, every way someone could know you, negating multiple bloodlines abilities (Seers being able to know someone through seeing their energy would be screwed over and require a second meeting, etc.) and basically creating a new character with all of your previous skills. That is INCREDIBLY overpowered for a B-rank skill. And pretty much overpowered for an A-rank.

Okay, I knew B-rank was probably going to be a bit too low, but I figured A would be enough. It's not as bad as you guys make it sound neutral . I mean, someone else did create an E-rank ability that changed their energy and appearance. Likewise, I've often seen rpcs simply dye their hair and change their eye color with some chemical to make themselves unrecognizable. For energy. I have chaotic energy and most people (if there are any other than me) who learn this skill probably will as well. As the skill says, my energy is already so muddled up that while it changes, it retains that muddled behavior no other energy has. I'm sure that seers will take advantage of that unique type of energy and assume that I'm the same person. I'm just lucky at the moment since no seer has had the chance to check my energy. As for scent, one of the few ways I could make the change worthwhile is if I did it in the ocean or some other insanely large body of water. If not, then whoever is tracking me can assume that the sudden scent change in one area is the result of me somehow managing to change my scent. Besides, there's already a simple biochemist potion that changes scent. Furthermore, this is hardly creating a new character with all of my previous skills. Appearances aren't the only thing people can recognize others with. Right now, I'm just lucky enough that so little of Nai has actually been revealed so that she isn't really burdened by that problem. If not, then I'd have to handicap myself by not using chaos skills, meaning all I'd have left are gunslinger skills. As it is now, though, I just need to restrict myself from using my sin and using my summon. Additionally, there's the entire problem with personality. Because I can't really change personality, there's only so much I can do to change behavior. There are more things to hiding than just changing appearances.

Its one thing to change your physical appearance, but its another to completely reconfigure your energy. I mean, unless their taking on someone else's body even shapeshifters can't do that.

Erm, well, the E-rank skill wasn't that bad. I don't think the person could use regular skills while they were disguising themselves. Although, they could use skills that were made for that specific form.
Alright, I already said this. The changing energy part is a cosmetic effect for the most part. Most seers will probably say that they'll recognize Nai's energy because they can't read it even if it is different. Her Chaotic Energy skill gives her a unique energy. While the energy will change, it'll remain different from what most people have. Meaning that seers will most likely just assume that this seemingly new person is Nai and then go on and treat her that way. Of course, that's only if they've seen her energy before.

Alright. For the first one... It cannot be used an unlimited number of times. Maybe 5 - 10 times total, over the course of your rpc's life.
The second one. Isn't there already a technique like this? I'm not too happy that you want it to be able to temporarily stun other people's pets, especially since not all classes have a technique that would work like Unholy Frenzy does. I'm curious as to why you're trying to create a bard-song to tame someone when you can already tame them without fighting them though.

Fine then, S-rank but with no limits and I'm editing the skill so that the energy change will definitely have some effect. Is that better?
The second one is a remake of a skill. I was going to explain more about it after the argument for the first one was done. It was made a long time ago, before Feather was even made, and the only reason why I'm editing it is because the dice-roll system for the last one was a bit flawed (never thought I'd get a 6 on the first roll sweatdrop ), so I tried to make it both a bit more challenging and also less tedious. The main changes are taking the sums of the dice rolls instead of looking for just one number and there needing to be a smaller number of posts to finish the song. The ability to stun other's pets was an original effect. Also, if you're talking about my talent. Well, while I do have the option of trying to tame them by reasoning with them (like what I did with the wyvern), sometimes that doesn't always work sweatdrop . Really, all my talent does is not have a set limit for the number of wild summons my rpc can have.

Fractured identity. What effect does changing your energy leave you with? Are you incapable of using skills for a while or something?

Umm.... I would say nothing? My character is already going to be helpless for three real life days, which I figured would be a good equivalent for one rp day. I figured that would be the time needed for her to change into and adapt (if adaptation is even necessary) to her new aspects like the energy you mentioned.

Username: SorceressJacklyn
RPC name: Liliana
Is it a Free skill?: No
Type of skill: Elemental/Mage/Holy
Skill name: Lifeline
Rank: A
If it uses ammo how much:
Limits: Must know at least four skills from the following: all four elements, mage list, cleric list, bloodline list
Skill description: Creating a line of pure creation power, you can sort through the minds and souls in one body and pull out the ones who don't belong to do with as you wish. This takes three posts to perform and you must remain in physical contact with the target at all times. While this is an A-Rank skill, it actually takes 1/4 of your energy pool to successfully perform.
Sample: She couldn't kill this one. Not with the problems she was having. Reaching out, she grabbed a tight hold on her hand. "Trust me. I will make this better for you." Her power flowed around her and into the girl. She could hear it. The other person inside there tormenting her to no end. The energy she was calling forth wrapped around this intruder. He fought her, of course. But in the end, she had the proper strength and intention for this. "Out you beast," she growled, her mind pulling on the energy to wrench him free from her mind. She could see him properly now, the form of pure energy beside her. "Time to go." She blasted the man away with a firebomb as she sheltered the girl. With him gone, she turned back to the girl. "Do you feel better now?" she asked, panting a little. That always took a bit out of her.
